I can't seem to find someone I like who stays there. I have had 3 stylists I've really liked who are no longer there now. The last straw for me was when I had booked an appointment ON SITE for two months out with a new stylist I tried and liked. I went in and had Ashley Browning do my hair. She is the only stylist we will go to. She does an amazing job and my daughter has very curly hair. She is so knowledgeable and recommends the best products for our hair. She colored my hair this past time and it turned out far better than the picture I selected. Can't thank her enough. I selected a tough job with a couple different colors and highlights and it turned it gorgeous. Not to mention the amazing Calligraphy cuts she does. This girl should by far be the highest paid stylist there she is incredible. If she's not she deserves a huge raise. I booked with Ricky in the barber shop there. I arrived a bit early as to not waste either of our time and was offered a nice cold brew. To which I accepted. Ricky wasted no time and was very attentive asking what and how I wanted to look. From there I gave him some creative control to do what he thought was best. His attention to detail and ability to sculpt was on full display as he switched between tools of trade to make sure my haircut and beard trim were top notch. I have been going to this salon for over 3 months now. My stylist is Meghan & she has been terrific with me & my hair; the best stylist I have had in several years. I have short hair & get it cut every 3-4 months. My first cut she listened carefully & looked at my Pinterest picture; then cut my hair perfectly.  My follow up cut she made sure if I have had any problems or concerns; did I want to change anything or keep it the same. I get the best scalp & shoulder massage prior to my cut, then spoiled with hot wax dip for both hands. I have gray hair so Meghan uses a special conditioner that makes my hair extra shiny; looks beautiful. I am always getting compliments on my hair these days. I made a same-day appointment with Ricky in The Grooming Lounge. Upon arriving early, Ricky made himself available right away. He was friendly, welcoming and made conversation easy. I kept going back to this salon to get my hair to the shade of blonde I wanted, but the stylists could never achieve that. I was told that it would take a few times to go from light brown to blonde, and after three treatments (and several hundred dollars), it still wasn't blonde! I tried two stylists and the second girl I went to for over a year but I was always disappointed with my hair. Unfortunately, they tell you that "your hair" is the issue and reason it's not turning the color you want, but it's really their products. It's a beautiful salon and everybody is very friendly. I have booked Lorena three times and the first time she was great! But the second appointment I had, they had incorrectly written down what I had needed and she was unable to give me both a cut and color. The third time I booked an appointment, I was called 15 minutes prior to my appointment and informed that the appointment would be delayed and that-once again-she could only do one service (either my cut or my color) for me because she was running behind. Listen, I am in desperate need of a trim and highlight and have been looking forward to this appointment for weeks-my split ends were literally flying around me when I was brushing my hair today! She does great work and I have loved my hair with her, but the lack of professionalism when it came to her time management was a huge turn off to me. When I called back to cancel, Anna was super sweet about the inconvenience and offered me a complimentary deep-conditioning treatment. Ten deserves another 5 start review. My last visit to the salon was the best yet! Richanne is a studio level stylist but carries herself and preforms like a master. I am so pleased with her service. I had a mishap on my hair the visit before (not Richanne) and the whole staff was so gracious to me. I was able to get it fixed (to my standard) for free. I have difficult hair to cut - very thick. Most stylists are nervous to thin it to a manageable state. I also like to have some input while the stylist is working on my cut and know that they are listening. My daughter had a great experience at TEN, so I decided to give it a try. I am so thankful to have found this place! I had been to a few salons around Loveland/Greeley since moving up here and just was underwhelmed with my experiences. Then I found Ten Salon and have never looked back everything from booking my appointments, to when I arrive, to services are being performed and even paying for my services has been pleasant. I have worked with Ariel the last few times I've gone in and she has been such a joy to work with. She always checks my notes from pervious visits and ask lots of questions then shows me my options which I love because it really puts me in to control of my color and cut so I know exactly what I'm getting. I always come out looking and feeling incredible after my visits. The environment there is so relaxing to be in to as well you can just feel your stress melt away while yes there is a lot of things going on around you you wouldn't know it. I bought a spray tan package from Groupon, I went in for a tan before going on vacation. The salon was bright and clean, very busy with a good energy. I had never gotten a spray tan before, and the young woman who helped me was professional and made me feel very comfortable since I was getting naked in front of her! My spray tan was absolutely gorgeous. Looked like I had spent a couple weeks in a tropical locale. Natural and not orange looking at all. A week after I had it done it still looked vibrant and natural. When I was paying for my tan the young man helping me offered me some free products for my curly hair. I really appreciated that. The owner was there chatting with another customer at the front desk, she was friendly and funny. It seems like a good place to work as I saw a lot of the stylists smiling and laughing with their clients.I will definitely return to Tens for a spray tan and I'm very interested in getting some highlights and a cut as well. Went here on Sunday for my first hair cut. Let me tell you what. Hands down one of the most beautiful and organized salons I have been been to. Not only did I get a hair cut, I got a massage, a Paraffin dip(which I have never ever had before) and the list goes on. The atmosphere was great! The lounge in the back was so cool. I am from out of town and visiting Loveland on vacation.  I was very excited to be able to buy my Aveda products and get our hair cut and styled.  I made appointments for myself and my twin daughters for the same time.  The front desk called 4 hours before the appointment and cancelled mine, rescheduling for a later time saying that the kids could just sit and watch me get my hair cut for the hour and 15 minutes.  I said no to all the frills (shampoo, massage, style.) and got 2 inches cut off the ends of my hair (I have no layers).  It still took almost an hour!  I was also confused that they were not carrying Aveda products when I searched for Aveda salons in the area and they were the first name to come up.  It was not a positive salon experience for our family. I've had a white/silver pixie for about 9 months. I usually go to my girl back in Texas, but I didn't have any other reason to visit home, so I decided to try out TEN salon. I had been there one other time, and it was "okay" so I figured I could handle. I saw a senior stylist. I won't name them because I do think she is talented. I have a difficult hairstyle. My poor review is more how the situation was handled management wise.I had my roots bleached as usual. Never have had any problems. It did burn a little more than usual but nothing out of the ordinary. My hair looked fine under the salon lights. As soon as I left, I realized my roots were bright yellow (contrasting to my silvery tips). Then, I got home. I noticed hair was flaking off on to the floor, but I figured it was trimmings from the cut. I reached up and ran my hand through my hair and a HANDFUL of hair came out. I deep conditioned the next morning and sure enough, more handfuls of hair. I will post photos. It was terrifying! I will post photos.I called the salon. It took a while for someone to get back to me. This was a Thursday and I had an event Saturday, so I needed my multi-colored, falling out hair fixed. They seemed sympathetic on the phone and got me in that afternoon. However, I learned later from listening ears in the salon that they thought I had "a little but of breakage" as if I was just overreacting, even though I told them my hair was coming out by the handful on the phone.I came in and all the stylists came by to see what happened. They looked horrified, honestly. Especially when I showed them the photos. For the fix, I saw Nichelle and Berta, who were great. Nichelle was AMAZING!! She was very educated and knew she couldn't put an ounce more of bleach on my yellow roots, even though that's what it needed. So, she toned my roots hardcore. She was very sympathetic and apologized. Berta gave me a Fusio treatment and trimmed up the uneven sides of my haircut. My roots were lavender, which was different than I wanted but it was better than the yellow.This experience cost me $165. I was given a free treatment and refunded only $50. I walk out with a perfect, feminine silver pixie at my salon in Texas for $80. I understand different salons charge different amounts. If I would have received what I wanted, I would pay $165. But I walked out of the salon, with chunks missing out of my hair, lavender roots and out $115 (after the $50 refund, which I was told by another employee I was lucky to get that much because the salon never gives refunds). I warn others against this experience because I wasn't refunded even after my hair was falling out. My roots have gone to a coppery blonde, almost like a shiny penny. It looks awful. NOT Nichelle's fault! Just how it is. I was told by a stylist "Thank God your hair is this short, because if it wasn't, we would have had to cut it this short." My hair is about an inch long, so beware to any girls getting bleached with long hair! There are talented stylists here. I just can't believe I wasn't fully refunded. Yes they gave me a treatment for free, yes they toned down the yellow for free, but it wasn't what I wanted and I'm still having MEGA breakage (just not as bad as before). Beware of this salon. I've been to Going to TEN for almost a year now. I really like the new color product, even though I was previously a devout Aveda follower. Everyone I have seen is great, but Shawna is my favorite! I highly recommend her for both color and styling. She has a very good eye for color, shape, and texture. This is no longer an Aveda salon. I started coming here BECAUSE it was an Aveda salon and spa. But my stylist is amazing so for now I'll probably continue to come and buy my Aveda products elsewhere. When explaining the reason for the change the staff need to learn that science and nature are not mutually exclusive terms. You can have nature based products (Aveda) that were scientifically studied/created. What they're calling "science" (the new product line, Kerastase) is chemically based. These chemicals, in my opinion, make it very strong smelling (perfume-like). The four stars are mainly for my stylist and the overall service. I'm extremely disappointed that the Aveda line has been dropped (which they'll tell you is Aveda's doing because they wouldn't allow the store to run multipleproduct lines. But what did they expect? Not Recommended, do not go here!  My family and I had been going to this salon for over 10 years, but with recent negative changes we have all stopped going. This is no longer an Aveda salon and it shows. The quality of customer service, products, knowledge, and atmosphere have all declined.  My latest appointment was cancelled the day of, and I was offered to re-book with a entry level stylist Katie. I was assured she was very good and would do a nice job. I asked for a simple trim, and she took off inches while creating "layers" that were just chunks out of my hair. The salon was dirty and needed repairs and touch up paint everywhere. I also got an expensive gel pedicure and it chipped within two weeks. My other family members had negative experiences well, and now all 5 of us will no longer use this spa.  Very disappointing, this was my favorite place to go for spa services! Read Less

I asked for a different haircut. A V cut. My hair is thick and I wanted it to be lighter and have better layers so it doesn't look so blunt in the back. I came with photo references and Amber said okay! She gets halfway through and shows me. It looks almost exactly the same as when I came in. I tried to say I wanted the V to be more prominent. She said in her opinion it would look like I would have a mullet. She said the layering and texturing would make it look more like the V I wanted. She said in the photos I brought that hair style works for those women because they had curly hair. NONE of the photos I showed her did the women have curly hair. All straight. I didn't know how to object or how to explain it didn't look anything like the photos anymore than I had already said. If she couldn't do it why didn't she say that at the beginning of our appointment? So basically the haircut I got was exactly like what I had come in with only shorter and shorter on the sides.
