I can't believe this dirty, RUDE nail spot is in business?! The nail tech had an attitude right from the beginning.  She was incredibly rude and dismissive while taking shortcuts with my shellac manicure.  I felt rushed and completely inconsequential.  She was extremely aggressive removing my previous shellac with an electric nail file leaving actual burn marks. I related my concern to get more attitude and an outright denial.  She also proceeded to just get up in the middle of my service and grabbed another customer while I was curing under the light. My nails lifted in less than a week because she used a top coat as the base coat!! Horrible experience that seemed to cross a line.  Don't bother with this place. Read Less

I just got a basic $15 manicure, and it’s been the best I’ve ever had. The man that did mine (I wish I knew his name, he was great!) did an amazing job and spent a good 15 minutes on my cuticles alone. Even with basic polish, my manicure is going on two weeks old and is barely starting to fade/chip. I usually always get shellac because I want it to last, but this top coat must be super amazing and I feel like it’s even better than shellac. Well done guys, I’m super happy! Read Less

I have tried this place several times over the years. I don't know why I even go back, I always leave angry that I didn't drive the extra mile to go to any other salon other than this one. I scheduled an appointment and waited 45 minutes, in cold water for someone to start my pedicure. My massage lasted a couple minutes and while I was waiting for the owner to take care of an ingrown, the tech cleaned the bowl with me sitting there, the fumes were strong enough to make me cough. When it came time to paint my nails, the guy put my sandals on before he painted them and got polish all over my leather sandals and didn't even offer to clean them up. My appointment was at the end of the day and they turned the air conditioner off, so the shop quickly became very hot. I was sticking to the leather chair. It's never been about customer service. Took our best service tech and my husband - Jeff there for Fathers Day and he had a blast. First pedicure ever and they made him very comfortable. The chair reclines and massages. They did the foot massage and fixed up his toenails so he's getting some well deserved pampering. He's usually fixing everyone else up! We scheduled an appointment ahead of time and it all went well. I am from So Calif and have always gone to Vietnamese salons. This salon was very disappointing. The workers only spoke to each other in Vietnamese (if that happened where I went before my person would always translate for me). They were not friendly at all. The manicure looks okay, but I doubt it will last as no adhesive was used before the acrylic was applied and no base coat was used before the polish was applied. The pedicurist spoke very little English and did not like the way I wanted my toenails cut so he complained in Vietnamese to another employee.. He also did not scrub my feet completely and was so rough he hurt when he filed the nails. He needed to spend 5 more minutes on my nails and forget the fake massage. On top of all of this, it cost me $12 more that what I paid where I lived before. I will not be returning. Read Less

Have you ever heard the term three-strikes-and-you're-out?  I have visited this place on three separate occasions.  The First Time The Nails did not look that great but I could not get the girl to understand.  The second time I got someone who was very new and it looked like I came from the Beauty School.  This last time apparently they have so many customers that they don't bother to tell you in a courteous way that you have to make an appointment.  There will not be a fourth opportunity for me. Waited 45 minutes with me feet soaking before any service, or communication. The water and jets in the tub even turned off! My friend I came with had both her pedicure finished and manicure halfway done before my pedicure was started. My tech had shoulder length curly hair and glasses. Very unfriendly. I am definitely not one to think others speak in different languages about patrons, but she would say something quietly to the tech next to her and they would look over at my feet and sneer. She pointed out my callouses and seemed disgusted by them. She then took me to the manicure table and proceeded to give me the worst manicure I have ever received. It looks like a 5 year old did it. Holly is awesome! On Sunday I was unaware that stella nails closes at 5 & walked in around 4:40 with some terrible broken nails. Went in for a manicure and pedicure with a friend. They said the wait would be 20-30 minutes and we waited for over an hour. I got the worst ingrown toenail after the gentleman clipped my nails, 3 weeks later and I am just on the mend. The manicure was awful, he didn't get all of my nail polish off and my cuticles were super dry afterward. When I asked for square/oval I got points. So I had a guy do my toes and nails today. My toes I'm ok with beside that his long nails were digging into my toes. When we started taking the gel off my nails so he could redo them he was very rough. Seemed annoyed gel was being so difficult. When he. Cleaned up my cuticles he made me bleed. I could tell him felt bad but geez be gentle. They have u keep your hands under the light for way too long. I live in California and it only takes 60 seconds. He had me leave mine for up to 3 min. That can't be good for anyone's skin. He did take his time on my nails and they look pretty. The lady next to me was having her fake nails removed and the nail employee kept flinging them in our direction. Super gross. Won't come back Read Less

Maybe my expectations were higher based on the reviews ...but this is the last time I will visit this place for a pedicure.  The first gentleman that began working on my nails was talking non stop with the other staff, took a cell phone call and left.  After a brief amount of time another gentleman stepped in and kindly asked what I wanted done.  I had explained to the first guy that I wanted a basic pedi and was sort of short on time.   I explained to the second guy that my feet are sensitive.  Not ticklish, but actually sensitive.  Maybe he was just really focused but he pulled my big toes so far to the side that it hurt. Then he took a call on his cell...a couple of times.  Maybe I am expecting too much but I haven't experienced anything quite like this before.The other thing I noticed was that the tools seemed very used and maybe not clean.  Hard to be certain. Wow! I was shocked at how great my shellac manicure was. After years of bouncing between mediocre nail salons, I have finally found one which meets most of my picky expectations. Now, I can't speak to their pedicures as I've only had a manicure, but, 90% of the women getting manicures there told me that they had been coming here for years! That kind of loyalty means something. The girl who did my nails was great. The polish is holding up well. Everything was clean. She offered to do a design for me (which I am apprehensive about as it usually ends up being a disaster...) I asked for something dog related and she automatically googled some images of dog nail designs. She and I created something just for me. And may I say, everything was well executed. It was a Sunday morning and they were not busy at all... Despite this, they rushed my friend and me through the worst manicures our our lives. The bowl of water was cold, their trimming and shaping was subpar and they did not know what a real buffing meant. Finally, at the end of the manicure they charged us each $5 more than the normal manicure price because we wanted the buffing instead of polish (FYI most salons charge less for buffing and no polish). I had been salon hopping before my second time at Stella Nails and I don't know why I was because they are a great nail salon! The first time I got white tips done by Aaron who was super friendly and did a great job on my nails. The second time I got pink and whites done by another technician. I wish I got her name because she did such a great job on my nails. They were shaped perfectly...no bumps, thin and completely smooth. Just the way I like it! :) Read Less

I absolutely  LOVE  Stella Nails! I consistently brag about Aaron, Vicki & John. I am constantly told my nails are amazing & beautiful and asked where my nails are done. I adore the designs (both simply & complex {snowman!}) that Vicki comes up with. John is awesome with pedicures and his designs are brag worthy (perfect for flip flop summers).
