I recently went here for a shellac/gel manicure.  It ended up taking almost an hour and a half because my manicurist kept on messing up and having to re-do the polish.  The end results were pretty terrible too - very messy looking.  And it cost $10 more than the place I usually go to. Read Less

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! THEY DON'T WANT THEM THERE!!! Last Friday, I picked my 6 year old niece up from her last day of First Grade!! She was excited to spend the day with myself, and her 2 year old brother. I had told her she could choose anything she wanted... AS IT WAS HER LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! She chose Dairy Delight & a pedicure so I was thrilled to find that Diva Nails not only did "princess" pedicures but child's chairs as well... SOUNDS GREAT, RIGHT?! NOPE!! We walked in, my niece at my side, my nephew in my arms right up to the front desk! There was a client being checked out. As she left, I tried to ask about getting on the list but this was the FIRST time we were ignored! So I went up to stand AT the desk... clearly waiting patiently to be helped! Well 2 women walk in door, and the man literally sitting 3 ft away from us, asked them how he could help them!!! That was the SECOND time we were ignored! When I stepped in front of the 2 NEW people, the man actually waved me away with his hand and proceeded to help them! Now remember I have a 6 year old with her heart set on a pedicure, and a 2 year old on my hip... NOT HARD TO NOTICE!! So the tears started to flow! As another technician(I believe the owner who claimed not to see us...) comes to the front to check her client out! When she asked me to move from where I was basically hugging the fucking front desk, I proceeded to ask a THIRD TIME!! That's when it was enough!! WE LEFT!!!! But guess what?! 3 of your clients walked out to make sure we were ok! So I know it was the owner who ignored us a THIRD TIME!!!! Have you ever had to explain to a 6 year old why you have just been discriminated against?!?! That's the only reason I can even fathom, the blatant, vulgar, disrespect, unprofessional service! So... DIVA NAILS... REMEMBER ME NOW?! So apparently walking in with children, when they have a CHILD'S CHAIR, is asking to be ignored!! My sister in law and I both spoke with the owner, who apparently doesn't remember us, well YOUR client did!! I AM IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY!! I had to wait over an hour to get service when they said it was going to be 10 minutes. 4 people who had walked in after me were taken care of first. Finally I was seated, but the person stopped mid manicure to go and do someone else's manicure. I had to sit and wait around for another 20 minutes for someone else to come and finish it. Pretty decent for my first time. I went in with a few friends for a shellac manicure. At first, we weren't really greeted as it was somewhat busy, and we had an appointment for 4 pm. We waited for about 5 minutes until it someone became available. It was a nice experience. Not too sure what was going on with my their system, but it wouldn't accept mine or a friends debit card. I came here to have my shellac nails redone because a different salon had ruined them exactly one week prior.  I told Diva Nails I wanted my shellac removed and new put on.  A young woman employed at Diva Nails told me that if I skipped the manicure part and just had the shellac done, they would take $10 off the normal shellac price which usually includes a manicure.  I said that's what I wanted.  I ended up with an older lady who barely understood anything I said.  She got out the manicure stuff and I had to tell her that the young woman told me if I skipped the manicure part they would take $10 off.  It took some arguing back and forth and her getting up to ask the young woman before it finally clicked that I just wanted the shellac replaced with no manicure.  I also told her that the following things were important: I wanted them to make sure NOT to break the tips of my nails which are weak and fragile while they're removing the old shellac.  I wanted them to make sure the shellac extended all the way to the sides, which the previous tech at the other salon failed to do.  I wanted them to make sure the shellac was hardened completely which the previous tech at the other salon failed to do.  I wanted my nails done wide and square, and I wanted black.  My old shellac from a week prior was pure opaque black which I liked, but the black they placed at Diva Nails was this "watery" see-through black.  They normally only do two coats of color between the base and top coats, but they did three coats of color at my request and it is still see-through!  Another thing is even though my shellac at the old salon was screwed up, the shape of my nails was so awesome and wide and square.  I wanted them to be square, but this lady made them skinny and rounded at the ends.  I've noticed older generations like the skinny more pointed or rounded nails, and a lot of younger adults like square which I love and wanted badly.  Her own nails are skinny and it's like she wanted to make mine similar to the shape of hers.  I'm just grateful that my nails came out a decent length with NO tearing on the sides, and the shellac is rock hard and covers all surfaces.  I may paint some regular black polish on top of these.  At least they are hard and protected which is the main reason for me getting the shellac.  I normally wear artificial nails because my natural nails always tear on the sides down to the quick.  Now my real nails are finally a decent length and I wanted them protected.  Diva Nails is a clean and classy salon, I just think I didn't have as good of an experience as some people.  My plan is that I will probably return to Diva Nails, but I may bring my own shellac that is a good color.  I also hope I get somebody that understands and appreciates wide square nails. They do what they want, then upcharge the crap out of you. Beware. I won't be back. Older woman that works at Diva insisted on giving me a manicure after I asked twice specifically for only a polish change (as I get a manicure elsewhere every few weeks.) I only went here because I was with a friend and she wanted to try them. So after she clipped my cuticles and called this a "manicure," I had her put gel polish on. No fake tips, no frills, no French manicure, just a solid color. She did an ok job. And when I went to pay it was $40 and then she asked me- YES ASKED ME, FOR A TIP. shocking really.. I am a good customer so even though shocked, I tipped $5. This EXACT SAME SERVICE COSTS $26 at Today's Nails in Loveland! I get it all the time, with FAR friendlier service and better nail techs. It cost me $45 at Diva. Nope, never again... you rip people off Diva nails :( Read Less

My daughter & I only go to get pedicures a couple times a year...but we always go here! It's clean, the ladies are kind & take their time, we have never felt rushed. Always ask for a little "nail art" (flowers, polka dots) which has always turned out cute. For moms of little girls they have added two kid size pedicure chairs! Would recommend! Read Less

This is the best nail salon I've found in the 10 years I've lived in Loveland. I get my pedicures here. It's very clean and bright. They use a plastic liner in the water bowl. I'm usually given a bottle of water. I go as a "walk in" and have only had to wait once. The selection of polish is fine. Pedis are $25 and I can leave a $10 tip and still spend less than other salons. Sometimes I get a flower on my big toes and they are beautifully done. It is true many of the nail techs speak Vietnamese but, English is also spoken. I love the diversity. I am a loyal customer and have no reason to go anywhere else. Read Less

Went in last night to get my nails done. Acrylics with a coat of polish. Got my nail polish color, and sat down. Not even sure who did my nails. He didn't talk he wasn't friendly, and when I was talking to my fiancé about cosmetology school and my experiences with it the man doing my nails scoffed and started speaking to the woman next to him in a different language. How disrespectful!!! My nails were less than average. Told him I like them short he cut medium, I went to dry my nails and noticed there were Knicks and dings in them. At the tip of my nail on almost every single one, there is polish missing, and he didn't put a top coat on. I paid $40 plus a $10 tip for this, and he asked me to pay before the service. How unprofessional!!! I will not be back. The only positive is that it looked clean. However, I sat right down and he sprayed a paper towel down with water (the bottle was labeled"water") and wiped off the tools. No sanitation no nothing. And when I asked him to do it he said "I did" and that was it. I should have walked out. Read Less

I'm speaking for my wife and daughter here.  She used to have a great experience, and they used to go all the time.  Lately, she told me that the service has gone down, and that it isn't as good as it used to be.  She had an appointment, which was hard to get, then when she got there, they had to wait beyond the appointment time.  The person waiting next to them didn't have an appointment, and they seated her first.  Anyone can take an appointment.  It is the keeping of the appointment that is key! I would give 3.5 stars. This place is really, really clean. I requested pink and whites with the gel coating. Chris did my nails. He was certainly fast and no-nonsense, but almost too much. He never spoke, never asked how I wanted the tips shaped. Amanda was working next to him, and was much friendlier. He did do a nice job though. My nails are very nice, and extremely thin. Read Less
