Getting a shellac manicure is an indulgence for me. I wanted a nice shellac manicure to last me the first two weeks of my new job since I’m meeting all new customers and trying to make a great impression. I stopped in here and I am so disappointed that I did! He cut two of my cuticles and they bled, which didn’t stop him from spraying them with alcohol. Ouch. I got home and there was already a chip in my thumbnail. Two days later two of the nails have already peeled off completely. I chose OPI which always lasts me about 3 weeks, but he used some random bass and top coats. It was very gummy after I left so I felt like it may not last. I also know if your nails are in bad shape it can cause chips but I had bare nails for months to strengthen them so I was actually really impressed with the health of my nails before I went in. Worst nail experience ever! I brought my 3.5 year old daughter in to have her first pedi/mani. I wanted it to be a really fun experience for her because we had just dropped her big brother off for his first day of Kindergarten and she was a little sad. No one in the salon was pleasant with us the entire time we were there. After 10 minutes of waiting, (we were never told there was a wait or how long it would be) we were told to go to the back station where we would be helped. The woman looked at me and said in a stern voice, "What do you want?" Smiling, I told her this service was for my little girl and I'd like if we could dip her feet in the water so she could have the full experience. She said, "No, we will do a nail polish change." I couldn't argue, I knew how this was going to go and my daughter was already being so patient. As we sat in the chair, the technician did not smile, did not say a word, and with no additional care or gentleness, she grabbed each finger and toe and quickly put paint on them. When I asked her to paint a butterfly on her nails, she said, "What?" again, very sternly. She insisted she didn't know what I was talking about and she sloppily painted a flower instead. I told my daughter to thank the woman when she was done and her cute sing song voice she said, "Thank you!" The woman looked at her briefly and said, "OK." then turned to me and asked if I could pay now. Thank goodness my daughter was smiling because I was very angry at the way we were treated. Speaking to a friend later, she told me that it is very likely that the people working there are racist. I am black and my daughter is half black. Suddenly, it all made sense. It was the only explanation I have for the way we were treated. I came in ready to spend some money on having my girl pampered and they were very rude to me. I will not be there again, and I heard that the beauty bar near the mall will be a much better place to take them. Please do not support this business. They go a great job and they are do kind!!! My only complaint is that I think there are only 3 employees the owners and another lady so it's always a wait but I don't mind waiting for quality and friendly people. :) Read Less

Went in today for the first time with my sister to have acrylics and pedi's. We are both very picky and have always had a hard time finding a good salon, either because of quality, service, or atmosphere. The owner Kim did both my fingers and my toes. She was chatting and laughing with us the whole time. She was fun and warm and friendly. It almost felt like my best girlfriend was doing my nails. I was not only impressed with Kim herself, but also her skills. My nails turned out great!!! This is honestly the first time I've left having my nails done and not had a single complaint. I went today to get a toe nail polish only. I sat and waited for over an hour. I finally got a chair and the end result was very disappointing. What I received was the poor, unfriendly service and nail polish glopped onto my nails. I am never doing business there again. Read Less

I was not very happy with my services today. I've been here a couple times and never been too disappointed but the service today was really bad. Initially, it was fine, if you ignored the language barriar. But once the owner saw more people come in, she rushed to fill my acrylics and made it look sloppy. By her rushing, she didn't even notice me wince in pain several times. Additionally, she left the area several times and was talking on her cell phone while trying to do my nails. They always do their very best to accommodate me and others. They are always very busy which is a good thing as it means they're staying in business. They could be a bit more clean around their workstations, but overall I am happy with their work. Read Less

I had appointment that I had scheduled when I visited to get my nails done 2 weeks prior. When I arrived the person who does my nails had started a new set of nails. I waited 45 minutes before just walking out. The person laughed and said "oh I don't want you to leave mad, I am almost done". I thought to myself why shouldn't I be upset, I had a scheduled appointment and I you shouldn't be doing a new set knowing you have a schedule appointment. I let her know that my time was just as valuable as her making money. She is the only one that answers the phones and schedules the appointments. They may do good work but be prepared to wait even if you have any appointment. They need to practice better customer service. Read Less
