Mimi is awful. She completely rushed through my nails just throwing my hands everywhere and hurt my fingers during the process. Filing the skin on my fingers off. Too expensive and I had to go back and have them do my pedicure over and I tipped and they still didn’t do a good job ! And I brought customers in for them and the owner told me she was going to give some money for bringing them in when I went back she act like she didn’t even know me . If you decide to try this place, make sure you call again the morning of your appointment to make sure they actually wrote it down. I called 702-202-1113 at 5:39pm last night to make an appointment for my wife to get a mani/pedi at 11:30am today (Saturday). The gentleman took the info last night over the phone and I said she would see them in the morning for her time slot. We arrived today 11:28am for the appointment I made for my wife. They did not have her name or appointment written down in their calendar. They said they could get her in but we made the appointment for a reason instead of doing a walk-in. I came in to have acrylic nails applied to my pretty badly bitten nails in order to curb my habit. The woman, who I presume to be the owner, did the most atrocious job I have ever seen. She rushed through the entire process. Several times while she was working on my nails I noticed she wasn't even looking at what she was doing. She even cut my cuticle to the point of bleeding with her careless inattention. I came back the next day upset and embarrassed that I had to wear these monstrosities on my hands for an entire day. I wanted these hooves taken off my fingers. The woman who had applied them a day prior assisted me again today. She resisted and disagreed with everything I said. She was demeaning, condescending, and just plain rude. It took 20 minutes of argument before she finally took the acrylic nails off. As I was walking out the door she had the audacity to say to me that she "hoped my nails weren't to long for me". I went in to have my MICROBLADED brows cleaned up. While in the chair the owner told me she did microblading there. I knew my brows needed to be retouched so I trusted that she knew the technique. I walked out with freshly inked eyebrows, that looked decent. The next day my skin was RAW scabbed and bright red. My microbladed eyebrows never looked like that the first time I had them done. Looking closer I noticed she advertised it to me as microblading (hair stroke brows) and there's no hairstrokes it's a solid tattooed line that doesn't even match my hair color. My last visit was terrible. I walked in on a Wednesday at 5:20, didn't leave till 8:30.My pedicure was mediocre, I had to ask twice formy nail polish to be redone, they forgot I also asked for a manicure, they couldn't do a simple design correctly, due their forgetting me, I was made to pay upfront at closing, which was 7:30, when I did leave my nails were horrible. I have to say it is well worth the drive I need to make from Henderson! I got a full set of gel nails (complete gel, not just the top coat), a pedicure, and facial. A different person did each thing. Everyone of them was friendly, polite, and showed attention to detail. I've been to many different shops in Las Vegas and Henderson and none have the atmosphere or talent you will find here! New owner, the salon has been remodeled and looks and feels like a spa. Mimi is sweet, attentive, accommodating and does an amazing job! I get compliments on my coffin nails all the time and since she's been doing my nails, I've found I can go up to 3 weeks before a fill. I'm perplexed by the negative reviews but really all I look for in a nail salon is cleanliness and quality of work.here's my breakdown:- IMMACULATE. most important thing in my book! - nice, friendly, welcoming without being intrusive. perfect balance.- generally I dont like how shellac colors never come out true to sample, but they did everything they could to adjust the color (the color *I* picked and ended up being unhappy with) to something a bit more my style. they genuinely wanted me to be happy with my mani and absolutely went above and beyond when they didnt have to!- the pedi was a little gentle for me, but Im a tough broad! the massage was lovely.and the best part? check the pic - this is my mani after almost 2 WEEKS ! there is no way to dispute the quality - this is one of the best, long-lasting manis Ive ever had.saving the fifth start for my repeat visits, bc I will definitely be back.I seem to mention this a lot in my reviews but I guess it needs to be said: if you have a question, dont like something, or have something else in mind SPEAK UP!
