I’m torn in two directions by this place. They do an AMAZING job with gel nails and full sets, every time my nails look amazing. Plus they have good colors and great prices. However, they can be rude ...
I’m torn in two directions by this place. They do an AMAZING job with gel nails and full sets, every time my nails look amazing. Plus they have good colors and great prices. However, they can be rude and rushed with their customers. Not horribly but it’s not always the most welcoming place.
Another BIG issue for me, personally, is their cleanliness. The manicure tables almost always feel like they haven’t been wiped down after the previous manicure and sometimes they sterilize their utensils right in front of me with just some rubbing alcohol. The soaking water is always room temperature and I can’t help but feel that is old and used.
But like I said, I’m really torn. I keep going back because i love the results but while I am there, I never feel very comfortable and everything is just slightly grimy. Is it worth it? Yes. Should they clean their tables? Yes.

Amazing! I tried another nail salon in Longmont a couple weeks before heading to Lyle. And the nails were so bad I immediately went home to blend/shape them myself, ended up removing them a week later! Lyle Nails took their time to actually polish the WHOLE NAIL (not missing the edges like countless other salons) and BLEND the nails with my natural nails to make them look seamless. Other places give me lumpy noticeable acrylic globs but this place actually did NAILS! :) I had a male technician for the majority of my visit and he did gorgeous work. Replicated my reference photo exactly. Highly recommend.

It lost a star only because the English spoken had a heavy accent so it was difficult to understand. He also spoke very quietly.

I was here for three hours to get a full set and pedicure. I was serviced by who I believed to be the owner, he told me a five minute wait and I was waiting for thirty. Never asked me what shape I wanted me just did what he felt, many nails are crooked and loose plus all different lengths and within a week and a half I've lost two and must go elsewhere to get them redone. The water for my pedicure was freezing and the massage chair didn't work, every other chair was open so why was I seated in the broken one?

I wanted my nails trimmed, shaped, and cleaned. Nothing fancy. The woman who did my mani had torn, dirty, ragged nails and very rough hands. She used an emery board/file that was too rough for my natural nails, and ran it back and forth - it was like fingernails on a chalkboard. There was a little girl there who was playing with the implements. I get that this is a family business, but keep the kids away from the equipment. Terrible experience and my nails look awful.

By day 2, the polish on 4 nails had completely peeled off. I checked with my mom, same issue. She had taken the polish off after just one day, it was peeling so badly. So far the pedicure is fairing better, we'll see...

Waited an hour for a pedicure with my feet in the tub. They got super pruny and the water was cold by the end. One woman even got her pedicure before mine and she was a walk in. I walked out.

Today was my first visit to Lyle Nails and it was a great experience. It is under new ownership and John and his wife do a great job. I had a manicure and pedicure and was impressed with both the quality and the price. I will definitely be back. Oh, and they're now open on Sundays! Definitely worth a visit.

Eva and Robin really care about their clients and treat them like family! They are truly artists and constantly create new designs. For people like myself working in conservative professions, they make beautiful, stylish designs while keeping it classy. The customer service is outstanding! Just today I had popped in with no appointment after a weekend getaway and had messed up the edge of one of my beautiful nails and Eva took the time to graciously repair that one, as well as repainted all of them with an additional coat of my gel color of choice and clear coat. Thanks for being AMAZING as always!!

I’m torn in two directions by this place. They do an AMAZING job with gel nails and full sets, every time my nails look amazing. Plus they have good colors and great prices. However, they can be rude and rushed with their customers. Not horribly but it’s not always the most welcoming place.

And the nails were so bad I immediately went home to blend/shape them myself, ended up removing them a week later! Lyle Nails took their time to actually polish the WHOLE NAIL (not missing the edges like countless other salons) and BLEND the nails with my natural nails to make them look seamless. Never asked me what shape I wanted me just did what he felt, many nails are crooked and loose plus all different lengths and within a week and a half I've lost two and must go elsewhere to get them redone. She used an emery board/file that was too rough for my natural nails, and ran it back and forth - it was like fingernails on a chalkboard. Today was my first visit to Lyle Nails and it was a great experience. It is under new ownership and John and his wife do a great job.
