I have been going to Gorgeous Nails for 3 years and have never been disappointed. Helen and Christine are fantastic!! John does a very nice job as well. At first glance when you walk in the furniture is plush, and the floors appear to be a nice tile upgrade. However once you sit to have your nails done, you will notice how dirty the table tops, chairs and UV machines are. The man that did my nail went outside to smoke a cigarette twice during my appointment, yuk. When he used the rotary file on me, he went too far down and hurt my skin, when I bounced back, he didn't say a word, no sorry, or oops, or something? A few seconds later, he said "I didnt cut". I intended to receive a natural and groomed look, and my nails are tinted purple. I have been getting nails for 20 years, never has that happened. Overall disappointment in service. Read Less

The pedicure was my second since moving from Dallas. I'm not that picky. I just want it clean, the polish to look pretty with no bubbles and to have nice toes at the end. I'm giving three stars for a couple of reasons. 1) they didn't have Opi nail polish. And what was used, while I like the color, it was definitely watered down and a bit streaky like it had been thinned too many times. This is the second time I've had polish like this in the area. 2) My big toenails on both feet are still too long. I asked the girl to cut them and she did a little, but the reason I went to get a pedicure was to have my nails shortened and filed so the pedicure will last longer. I'll have to clip these nails in the next two days. It cost $25 which seems normal, but to me pedicures should last three weeks and this one doesn't seem like it will. I like it better than my last pedi at a salon in Boulder but not as good as I'm used to. I'll probably go back but hope to get a different nail tech. Read Less
