Sick and tired of my girlfriend going to this place and me paying $133 and her nails break in 2 days. This place does not know what they are doing. When her normal person does it they last a month. She has had nails like these for 35 years so she knows how to take care of them. Fossil even had the gull to charge to fix them. Horrible customer service and product. 1st time here! The good: They are nice, the place is clean, they have lots of GEL colors available that look new. They are super attentive, gentle, and really shave down your heel to get it as smooth as possible. NO CUTS OR NICKS, Woot Woot! They even use this small like sander machine to get that heel smooth, it burned for a second but goes away super fast and now my heel is smoother than ever before. They also massage you a bit, and finish off with a hot towel. The NOT so good: coming from Florida where salons are ever corner and they have up-scale salons for the same price here. This place does not use liners for their feet soakers. They do not open new tools. And their regular nail polish is horrible. No essie nail polish brands, or not that many top brands like OPI. If you're not getting shellac or gel, your choices are the old looking polishes they have left. I opened some and they were sticky and need to be thrown out. FINAL THOUGHTS: Even though I wasn't completely satisfied with the regular polish color selections, and not a fan of tools they use on multiple people. Needed to get my nails redone after a horrible experience somewhere else last friday. A friend recommended Fossil Spa & Nail. I got right in and was immediately at ease. I had the rudest manicurist ever. She gave myself, my daughters, and other customers dirty looks the whole time she worked. She obviously didn't want to be there and made sure customers around her knew that she considered them a nuisance, even though I saw no demanding customers at all. She did a very sloppy and lazy pedicure. She just went through the motions of the pedicure without spending any time or detail on each step from applying the cuticle remover and not removing the cuticles, to barely buffing the skin, and she didn't even remove all of the old nail polish before the applying the new. The water was also cold. After she was finished with me and moved onto the next gal, she was very rough when doing her pedicure. This lady had several callouses and asked her to be gentle, but she appeared to do just the opposite. This woman should be fired. Also, the wait time here is ridiculous. If they can't get to people within 30 to 90 minutes, they should let them know. We waited 60 minutes. I saw one gallon waited 90 minutes. I will never return here. Too bad because some of the staff do seem nice and the decor is very cute. It has potential if they would get rid of some of their very rude staff and be honest with customers about wait times! They left the acetone and foil on my fingers too long and gave me chemical burns on every finger; when I told management all they said was "I don't know what to tell you." They lied and told me they carried the SNS dip system, when I got there it was NOT SNS, it was a terrible acrylic dip that literally lifted the next day, and the woman that did my nails did the dip incorrectly and had to call someone during my manicure to figure out how to fix it. Extremely inexperienced and unprofessional and I have been getting my nails done twice a month for the last 3.5 years and never had anything like this happen. I would never recommend anyone to get any type of manicure (dip, shellac, gel, etc.) here unless you want to end up with severe chemical burns and a manicure you'll have to get redone somewhere else the next day. Moved back to CO after being gonve for several years. It took me awhile to find a good pedicure place and glad  I tried Fossil Creek.  Very friendly they always fit you in and make you feel welcome.  Super clean compared to others I visited in Longmont. Great colors and fantastic selection of services.  This is my go to place! Read Less

In the area for a wedding and my friend and I needed a shop to get our nails fresh! Fossil Creek is wonderful from the clean warm atmosphere to the great pedis and manis. I love Tina so I always go to her, but I'm sure everyone is professional. My gel manicures are perfect..to the edges and  never problems with cracking or peeling. They last forever.  I have injured my toenails and Tina is an expert at nail trimming and shaping. Meh. Pedicure was good, they look nice enough but when I said I wanted a design she just grabbed colors she wanted and did her own thing, rather than show me options. I *hate* yellow and she started on them before I realized that's what she was using (I only saw white). Then she added all these random dots that I asked her to remove. I did not know what time this nail salon closed but thought I would try to do a walk in appointment anyways. I showed up at three till 7 PM. After I walked in, I noticed a sign that said they closed at seven; however, that did not stop the very nice nail technician who approached me and asked what I was there for. I told her I wanted a manicure and a pedicure, but understood if I was too late. She said no problem - got me in! They did my nails and my toes (the full treatment) for an hour after closing. They were so nice and so wonderful, the store was so clean and I am absolutely pleased with the job they did!!! They even changed my nail color because I wasn't fully satisfied with the first color I had picked. I had never been to this place but I am a satisfied customer who will be returning!!! Read Less

Best natural nail care and mani/pedi massage in the entire area. Where are 6 stars to award when you need it! The chairs are perfect, and the staff is outstanding. Pricing is perfect for the service, which includes an effective massage and a variety of lotions for any of the services selected. I went there this past Saturday and got a French pedicure and French gel nails. My nails started chipping on Sunday. The salon is closed this day so I went Monday to have them fixed. She filled the chipped parts of my French and touched them up which totally showed with lumps and all, she tried not to fix all the chipped ones but eventually did. When she was finished she said your done and walked away. Not once was I asked how I thought they looked, if I was happy or an apology for the horrible work they did. Came in for the first time today. The lady who did my nails did not introduce herself or ask my name. She hardly spoke English, and didn't speak to me the entire time except to say "is this okay?" And when i asked for a stripe of a second color across the top of my nail she didn't seem to have any idea what i was talking about, and did a crappy job of it. She only did one coat of polish, and I got charged extra for the two colors of polish (not mentioned on the price board) and the nail clipping cost $3 extra. I paid $22 for what should have been at most $18 based on their pricing. And 10 hours of very light normal activity later, my polish is already chipping!! I will not be returning. Read Less

I am so angry with this place! A friend and I went in and I sat there and waited OVER AN HOUR!!!! I let my friend go get her nails done first, figuring we would be about 20 minutes in between each other. Then, some lady comes in ( with no appointment ) says hi when the owner looks up and she gets in over 30 minutes before me. When our nails were done, they came out horrible. I just got them done yesterday and they are see-through and they look like they need at least 2 more coats. I am very disappointed with this place and I will NOT be coming back. I used to really love this place, until recently when a tech used a dremel to remove my shellac manicure. My nails are now trashed! Peeling, breaking & I'll have to grow them out completely to get them back to normal. Pedicures are good, salon is clean & the people are nice. Just stay away from the gel/shellac or if they try and use the dremel tool....just say no. Read Less

Wow I was blown away by how this made my entire week! I got shellac delux Mani and a delux pedi! There are about 7 different types of pedicures, I have never had OPTIONS!! I suggest champagne and roses pedi!! She took her time on me (which is the whole purpose for relaxing) my nail art was super cute and my French tips were beyond perfection!! 2.5 hours of a time to never forget! Massage chairs actually felt awesome and she never worked on another customer in between me. She did everything I asked such as making my water warmer and kept up with my changing mind with a smile on her face! I was so pampered she earned herself a 25% tip! This place was spotless and modern, along with hot rocks, a sugar scrub, and paraffin wax. I was beyond pleased and this is now where I will become a regular customer! I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to Fossil Spa today. The gal that did my nails offered me Shellac UV Nails. I must say she did a fantastic job! Great alternative to regular polish or acrylics. She performed a great manicure and the UV polish that will last me 2-3 weeks all for a great price.The spa itself was VERY clean, serene and honest. I'd definitely recommend Fossil! Read Less

My entire bridal party went here for manicures and pedicures the day before my wedding.It's a typical nail place in the "if we speak English at all it's heavily accented"  fashion.  There area few girls here though that do AMAZING jobs.  I hate artificial nails...they're always too thick or too long or too ...ick.  But with several recently broken nails the girls (bridesmaids) talked me into getting tips.  I'm thoroughly glad I did.Not only were they super thin, they were light enough that I didn't suddenly feel like I couldn't function (write, type, open a can of soda, etc).  When I have to get fake nails...this is the only place I'll go.On the pedicure side of things: A-...just because the nail art chipped off quick (I think the lines were too thick/heavy).  But the nails?  Lasted well past my honeymoon...which included scuba diving, beach combing, swimming with dolphins, hiking mayan ruins...I feel it's pretty safe to say they'd stand up well in "normal" life, too!
