I went to Allure for the first time recently. I had a pedicure and my toes look fine but my big toe is very sore. I am worried that I have an injury and will end up at the podiatrist with an infection. It is tender and a little red. The nail tech attacked my toes with energy and I think pushed the cuticles back to far. She nipped my other big toe at one point which was painful. I was also concerned about cleanliness based on other reviews. The price was less, but a better quality salon that focuses more on disinfecting their tubs and tools gives me more peace of mind. Without a doubt the best nail experience I’ve ever had! I came in with a poorly done acrylic manicure, and needed it fixed badly. Kevin did a phenomenal job fixing my nails as they were completely unrecognizable from the originals! Kevin is absolutely fantastic!!! I didn’t even see him originally but came in an hour after leaving because I (me, my fault) smudged one of my freshly painted toes and he came to my rescue! Like I said, he wasn’t even the one to paint my toes initially, he swooped in, found the color that had been used (he has all of the polishes memorized), fixed multiple toes and sat me under the drier! My go-to nail salon in town. I don't have a "person", but everyone that has done my nails has a done a great job - I think that says a lot about a nail salon when you can really count on any of the techs. The inside is spacious, clean, and decorated nicely. They provide water bottles if you want. I'm not sure if they still do it, but they have wine too. Not so great, got a terrible infection in my cuticle after being nicked. Nearly lost my nail, incredibly painful, had to go on antibiotics. Also one of the other technicians (female) was really forward with my 8 yr old daughter, acting nice but kind of interrogating my daughter, she kept asking my daughter if she likes her (The technician) it was weird. This place has been hit or miss in the past, but today was excellent. My nails were way overdue for some TLC, I showed up on a Saturday morning. They were busy, but only had up wait about 10 minutes as a walk-in. Annie did an excellent job!!! I was worried that she would try to rush since they had a lot of customers, but she took her time and gave me a beautiful manicure and wonderful royal pedicure. I don't treat myself often, so I really appreciated her attention and care!Plus, they switch out the liners in pedicure bath for each client, that is a HUGE plus for me!Suggested Improvement: while Annie gave me a great foot/calf massage, in the past they usually skimp on this. My sister might get a long one while I get a short one, it drives us crazy. A place back home used to keep kitchen timers next to pedicure stations, they set it to 10 minutes each time they began a massage, this was each client knew they were getting the full service they pay for! Fantastic prices drew me in as I wanted a simple pedicure for the season. I requested a shellac with French tip and a basic pedicure. However upon receiving the service the procedure was extremely rushed and there was no scrubbing or buffing underneath feet. Also, no bottom coat was used prior to the French tip. In addition I noticed the young lady attempted to use three different bottles of white polish noting that they were dry as she was adding an alcohol solution to mix i...t up. As I went to pay I was curious to ask the difference between spa and basic (as many salons have different services) however both answered sounded the same so I mentioned that my calluses on my feet were not taken care of so I was confused as to why I would be paying the spa price. I've been to Allure several times, and this time I had the worst experience. The guy who did my nails did a lousy job!! Just as I showed in the picture, my gel has started to peel off after only two days. He only put two layers on my nails and he didn't cover each of them evenly. This is far and away my favorite nail spot in Longmont. I've always been a walk in, I've always had a different tech, and I've ALWAYS had a truly EXCEPTIONAL mani pedi. My favorite tech so far is Helen. Not to mention this is BY FAR the most cost effective gel manicure pedicure in town. Including tip, deluxe pedi and gel mani under 60 bucks. You can't beat that. My roommate and I decided to spend our day off by hanging out and relaxing. Part of our relaxing day was to get a pedicure. We decided to go to this place because it looked nice and it was new. However, our experience was awful. First, we sat there for 30 minutes before they even got our chairs prepped, which I understand since we were walk-ins. However, once we sat in the chairs, our water was cold and 20 minutes had gone by without even being acknowledged. At this point we decided it was time to leave. I randomly picked this nail salon because it's one of the few open on Sundays. I'm so glad I did. They were able to assist me quickly even as a walk-in. The color selection is great. I had a hard time choosing! I just got the basic mani and pedi but the technician took her time and pampered me as if I had gone with a deluxe service. She did such a great job, I decided to add on an eyebrow wax. The price was very reasonable for all 3 services. It is now 5 days later and my nails still look fresh. I brought my 94 year old aunt here to get her chin waxed and was very disappointed & will not return. I saw her today in the natural light and couldn't believe how many loose hairs she missed. I finished the job myself and did a far better job by plucking. She had dozens above her lip too and the gal never asked if she should wax those too. Read Less

I found Allure Nail Bar in an ad on youtube. This place has stolen by my heart. I haven't called for an appointment a but I neither have to wait. They made a marvellous composition on my nail. They had the latest nail products and I wide variety of colors. This salon has elegant space. I will give this place a list of my favorite places. This place is definitely worth the nails.Read Less

BEWARE of BAD PROCEDURES there is no Recourse. Manger could care less. It's a nice place,  most of techs were very nice until there is an issue . . .We (there were 3 of us) had a decent time, even tho 2 of the techs were making fun of one of us in their language. They were not aware we knew words in their language. Out of the 3 of us 2 of the pedicures were good. The 1 of us that was having Medi, pedi, and waxing done had a truly bad pedicure, there were cracks in her heel that they didn't scrub, scrape or anything to try smooth them out. She really didn't notice until after her mani was done (which was done excellently, the tech was kind, nice, sweet) she went back to the person that had done the pedi, he informed her there was nothing he would do about it. Ok, "he would not do" so she just said ok and she went to the manger. She told the manger that she truly wasn't happy with the pedi. She was informed by the manger "she wasn't going to do anything, and she (my niece) had only lived in Colorado for 3 months what did she expect)  I'm sorry what does where she lives have anything to do about anything. If it's done bad it's bad.  This was a $230 trip not counting tips.  So just beware there is no support if you get a bad procedure. The manger was totally RUDE and could care less . Susan K. Just had one pedicure here so far but I was happy with them.  The pedicure at did not try to torture me when she found out my feet were ticklish. The most important thing is that they are very clean and use disposable liners for each client.  I appreciate sanitary pedicures.  Also the chairs were more comfortable than most. Read Less

Last year I went here to get lashes put on girl glued my eyes shut then ripped them open I cried they still charged me and my lashes kept falling off over the first couple of days it was so painful ripped out all my original lashes I tryed to complain they would listen so I tryed to call and complain once they kept falling out and girl on phone wouldn't hear it 1st and last time I will get lashes such a bad experience even though I believe the girl was new I'm scared to ever get them done againRead Less

Great service!! I recommend going here. Everybody is so kind. I enjoyed my manicure along with getting my eyebrows done. Manicures and Pedicures are done very precise and very neat. You will always be satisfied with your nails after visiting Allure Nail Bar. I am very cautious with my eyebrows and was very hesitant with letting anybody near waxing mine. Went here with 2 coworkers yesterday. We bought the highest pedicure package ($50 but it was $5 off) because my favorite part of the pedicure is the massage.I arrive roughly 10 minutes after my friends but was the first one done. She was almost done painting my nails long before their massages were even done. She was very harsh around the cuticles and cut them way back around my big toe, causing bleeding and swelling the next morning. See the picture I posted.I sat for a good 15 minutes waiting for my friends to be done. Granted, they both got designs so I understand that obviously takes longer, but like I said they were done with me long before their toes were even painted. We went next door for lunch and I noticed 2 toes on the left foot were already chipped off. I had sat with more than enough time for them to dry.
