I have been going to this salon for more than 10 years.  It was great for several years and then lately it is just a mess.  The chairs are so old they are actually painful.  But last Friday was the topper.  # of us went in and when I walked in I told the manager there were 3 of us.  She said OK pick color.  I did about 2 minutes later my friends walked I I said we are all here.  She then walked up to one of my friends and said "45 minutes" I said what?  She said "an hour and a half".  I again said what you were just sitting us down now its an hour and a half.  She said "I guess" WE said we were going to leave and go elsewhere she said "fine" I said are you saying  that its OK  we are leaving she says "I guess" .  I will not be returning there again.  Sad 10 years and I have brought tones of referrels.  No more. I got a white tip fill yesterday and it took TWO HOURS!!! The lady who did mine was not careful and cut my fingers 4 times. I left the nail salon with 3 BLOODY fingers and they did not offer a discount, extra service, or even an apology. The first time it wasn't a huge deal because accidents happen. She said it was because the nail file was new, and switched it. She then switched back on the next finger and cut that one as well. This happened two more times. When she was almo...st done and doing the last bit of filing, she then the skin along my nail bed. I said "ouch" and she asked if it was hot, and I said no you HAVE to be careful because you keep getting my skin. Maybe she is new at nails or had a long day, but to then charge full price ($50.40) and not offer an apology or express ANYTHING, just hand me the debit machine, is absolutely unacceptable service. The first time I went here, the lady took two hours as well (a different lady, she apologized and said she is picky on detail and wanted to make sure it was perfect) I appreciated her gratitude and wanted to give them a second chance because it is always busy & I have heard good things, but I will NOT be returning as a customer. I, like others, have no idea how this place has 5 star ratings. I've been here twice, and both times have been disappointed and overcharged.First time, I got a regular pedicure and shellac manicure. It was about 6 months ago, so I don't remember the exact amount I paid, but remember being shocked that it was so much. My shellac mani started peeling and chipping two days later.Second time, I got a regular French pedicure and French shellac manicure. Neither one of the techs talked to me. One of them did answer me when I asked her what time she thought the super bowl started (since my hands were busy and I couldn't google it at that moment). But that was it. And when I showed them a simple heart design I wanted for my ring finger, they (both the techs and the manager) told me they don't do designs (on shellac or regular polish- doesn't matter). Fast forward 20 minutes later, a girl sits next to me and shows the tech a more complicated design she wants with shellac, and wouldn't you know it, they did it for her! So apparently they're selective on who they do designs for. I paid $75 for this experience. Seventy. Five. I've never paid that much, not even at an actual spa that happens to do mani-pedis. This place is terrible. I know English is not everyone's first language but when I called to make an appointment, I must have said at least three times that I needed a fill. I got there and said again, I have an appointment for a FILL. They were half way done taking my polish off before they said the person that does that doesn't work today. How the hell does this place have goodRatings!!!!! I go in for a full set to get the ballerina shaped nails! I show her a dam picture of what I want. How much more specific can you get. Turns out this woman doesn't even know how to do nails. She's laughing while I'm trying to tell her their not right. The manager doesn't give a dam either. No respect for their customers at all! Probably the best pedicure I've ever had! Despite the fact that my toesies look amazing, the mask and sugar scrub were quite literally putting me to sleep. These ladies are fantastic! This place is pure bliss. When you walk in it stunning compared to other nail salons. Shellac for 35$, that is starting to become unheard of. Your never rushed no matter how many others are in line. Overall 5 stars for sure.Read Less

Went to La Belle for the first time this week and was very impressed. Very clean salon with great decor. Lots of nail polish to choose from. I only had a mani so cannot speak to pedis, but the mani was great. My tech spent a lot of time and got the nail polish just right. I appreciated that she took the time to make my nails look so good. At other places I have visited, they hurry through the process and move on to the next customer. This was not my experience at La Belle. I will definitely return to La Belle! Read Less

I went today after having just loved a few blocks away and I have to say, excellent manicure & pedicure. I did the combo pedicure (hot stone & scrub for $37) plus added the extra foot callus remover ($5). This was a detailed and luxurious pedicure. I saw Julie, excellent massage and overall pedicure. Scrubs, massages, lotions, comfy chairs, all excellent.I also got the "shellac" manicure for $35. Usually I get a dis out did my manicure if I get a pedi the same day so that was the only disappointment. There is no doubt you get what you pay for there but be prepared to spend! Read Less

I tried this place out for the first time today, mostly based on the positive reviews I found here.  I went for a pedicure, and I must say, that it was an absolutely wonderful experience!  Susan took excellent care of my legs and feet, all while I sat in a shiatzu massage chair for a straight hour!  I couldn't have felt more relaxed when I left.  Also, the decor was tasteful, not tacky like a lot of nail salons.  I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting a mani or pedi. My friend who is a regular brought me in. This was the best pedicure and manicure I have ever had. And I worked in salons and spas and have traveled extensively to some pretty wonderful places. After reading some of the other reviews I see it may depend on who you get. I know my friend picked my technician so it could be true. There were so many special details. I loved the tiny bit of hot rock for in my manicure. What a great idea. The extra 5 dollars I paid for the little "sander" on my feet, really helped.  I ended up paying $50 for the the mp. This place is very inconsistent. The prices are a bit on the higher side, and sometimes the higher prices are warranted! Some techs are fantastic and some are not so good. I would recommend it especially if you can score a better tech. Read Less

Inconsistent.  I'll start with the pros:  very clean, nice massage chairs with little to no wait.  Cons:  the basic pedicure costs $30 and is an inconsitent service that depends highly on the tech.  The service has ranged from one of the ladies spending literally 15 seconds per foot on the callous exfoliation to another one spending a minute or two, which is what I would expect for a basic pedicure.  Several minutes if you are paying for a pricier service.  When I pointed out to the tech who had spent very little time on exfoliation that the callouses on my heels were still there, she kindly offered to use the "buffer" for an extra $5.  How nice of her. I actually would have taken her up on it, as I had done so on the previous visit, except that it's a hand held machine with a very small motor and doesn't really do much.  I ended up doing it myself in the shower post-pedi with my pumice stone and a little elbow grease.  Not saying that I'm above doing this myself, just that when I pay $30 for a pedicure I expect them to put more than 15 seconds worth of effort into this part of the process.I'll also mention that both times my polish chipped off one of my toes within the day.  I'm accustomed to pedis lasting 3 - 4 weeks.It's unfortunate because I had visited this salon several times before and had very positive experiences with the same exact service.  So like I said, incosnistent.  Too many other businesses out there to try who will be more reliable. This is a beautiful salon and unlike many salons I've been to, the ladies here were very nice. Katy gave me a paraffin pedicure and it was wonderful.  She was very sweet and made sure I was comfortable.  When she was done and I was drying my toes, she gave me a short shoulder massage.  The only drawback is that it can get pricey very quickly!  I will most definitely be back to see Katy! The salon is very clean, modern and they have great massage chairs. They have a menu of different pedi treatments you can get and for the service and quality you receive,  the prices are reasonable. I see Jenny when I go in and she does a terrific job. Remember to ask for their frequent client card. You will credited each time for a service and you can use it when your card fills up. La Belle is SO GOOD. I love that I get a discount for being a student (maintaining your nails is not cheap for those who don't know) and the people there are friendly and considerate. I love that the technicians try to talk to you, rather than the girl across the salon, which can be very annoying. It's a great atmosphere. The busiest is always Sunday afternoon, but it's still pretty quiet in there for a salon. Their chairs don't have the bubbles going all the time either. Things I especially love...1. Hot stone component with the most basic manicure/pedicure.2. Sugar scrub included with basic pedicure.3. The guy that works there will give you a free shoulder massage while your nails are drying. He has magic hands. 4. Price! $10 manicure, $25 pedicure for a student. Pretty damn good.5. They have a rewards program. It's something very small, like maybe 5% back on every purchase but I've got about $6 running on my card right now, so if you go often, it's worth it.Things I'm not so keen on...1. They took away the comfy manicure chairs! I loved those! Instead of the standard swivel chairs at a long table, they used to have small leather recliners. What the hell, La Belle? 2. I'm constantly disappointed by their massages, which to me is the thing I look forward to most. A little too soft for me. 3. Massage man can be very inconsistent. Ok, let's get this out of the way: I joined Yelp specifically to review this business.  I love Yelp.  I've read Yelp reviews over the years and made a few decisions based on them, good and bad. I never really though I'd be the type to review something myself, though.  I couldn't believe no other "yelper" has reviewed La Belle Nail Salon in Highlands Ranch.  So here I am...  This change started with an internet search for "hot stone pedicure Highlands Ranch".  After looking at a few rave reviews on "another" review site, I decided to give them a shot.  There were MULTIPLE 5 Star reviews (and nothing less) for La Belle on this "other" review site, so that must mean they're great, right?!Let me just say that there are no less than a dozen options for nail services between my home and La Belle.  I even have a perfectly nice nail salon right down the street from my house that I've frequented off and on for about 5 years.  I was really set on the hot stone pedicure, though.  (Have you tried one?  There should be a Yelp review for Hot Stone Pedicures themselves, they're THAT amazing).  I find La Belle located in a small strip mall, relatively "off the beaten path".  (Right by Enchanted Grounds coffee, which now that I'm a "Yelper" probably deserves their own review, too.  Carmel Mint Mocha=a-MAZE-ing!)  Enter and find a beautiful, serene salon with tasteful decor and about 10 smiling, welcoming technicians.  The rear area holds multiple massage pedicure chairs, front is saved for manicure stations with RECLINING chairs!!!  I'm not a manicure gal, but if I was, you better bet I'd like to be reclined while getting one.  I'm greeted by the sweetest girl, who offers to hold my wallet, keys, phone AND Carmel Mint Mocha while I choose a polish color.  Their polish cabinet is COLORIZED!  Yes, organized by color, from lightest to darkest just like a beautiful rainbow.  Are you kidding me?  I turn around and everyone looks up from what they're doing and smiles. (side note: every single person that works here is gorgeous.  Not that it matters, but I feel at this moment like I'm on some sort of TV show, where everyone has been hand-picked to make this place look perfect).  I settle in the comfy chair and the nail tech hands me a "menu" with about 6 different pedicure choices.  I'm suddenly overwhelmed and just pick the first one I see, basing my decision on the words "lavender, hot stone and heel repair".  She smiles and leaves to get all of her "essentials".  I look over the menu while she's gone and think that maybe I should have chosen the La Belle, which seems to be the "cadillac" of pedicures.  For another visit, because I'm already pretty positive I'll be back.  Fast forward, because I could go on and on about THE BEST PEDICURE I'VE EVER HAD but to summarize: it involved a cooling mud mask for my calves, sugar scrub for my feet, the least amount of buffing I've ever had on my heels (but yet they're smoother than if I went at them with a pedi-egg for 3 hours) and then the "piece de resistance": 4 perfectly-sized hot stones, rubbed all over my calves, feet AND in between my toes!  If I could have broken down sobbing at that moment without the chance of being committed to a mental hospital, I would have.  I was in HEAVEN.  Base coat, THREE coats of polish, top coat and I'm off to the drying station.  After getting settled, I'm offered a massage while I dry.  More massage?  Is this place for real?!?  "Yes, please!" and I'm treated to even more relaxation with the perfect head, neck and shoulders massage.  I had a bit of a headache when I went in, but at this point it's nothing more than a vague memory...I will say that if you're the type that's in a hurry, looking for the cheapest toenail polish change you can get with a quickie leg massage, then La Belle is probably not for you.  My "lavender, hot stone, heel repair" choice was $42 and it took almost 90 minutes (the "La Belle" apparently takes even longer, my tech said the massage for that one is TWICE as long).  But I can honestly tell you it was the most relaxing, well-worth-it $42 I've spent in a LONG time.  Oh, and the hot stones come with even their "base pedicure", so if you're in a hurry you can still indulge in that!  Go to La Belle-you'll be so happy you did.  Your feet will thank you, too!  Bring on Flip Flop Season, I'm ready.p.s. bring some cash for the massage guy, he does a great job and deserves it!
