After my services, I went to pay and figured my total cost should be about $50, $15 for shellac removal on the fingernails and $35 for the pedicure. Jasmine happend to be working and to my surprise, said they would be charging me for the shellac removal on my toenails. I said that's not right, I called and confirmed twice, once with you and once with Tiffany, and both said the same exact thing. Her excuse: "well I thought you were going from a shellac pedicure to a shellac pedicure." I told her this has been a traditional since the day I booked it. You guys pulled up my account both times I called and you didn't see this!? Nor did either of you ever state this over the phone. She continued to argue with me, and said "well next time I'm going to charge you." No accountability whatsoever on their end. It's the customers fault. As for the services I recieved, it would have been nice if I would have been directed to the sink to wash off the crumbled shellac and nail polish remover all over my fingernails. Instead, the tech just got up and started to walk away until I asked where the sink was. Thanks. The pedicure service could have been a lot better. It was quite the sloppy job. The very best nail spa in Denver, hands down, is The Nest! Their service is outstanding, their staff are wonderful, and the owners, Brenna and Dominic, are an absolute delight. There's no "sign in and wait for your name to be called" silliness here. They are far too professional for that! You will need an appointment, so make sure to book ahead. The benefit is that the time you have scheduled is just for you! Upon arrival, you are greeted, often by first name, offered a complimentary cup of tea, coffee, or water, and shown to the wall of polishes. In short, you're treated like a valued client!Also, The Nest is an all-natural nail salon. Nest is by far the best nail salon!!! It's clean, friendly, affordable, and relaxing. You aren't paying the prices of fancy spas, but the service is top notch. My only "complaint" is that they are often booked weeks in advance, so I have to plan ahead. I have been going here for a few years with my sister and my mom. I drive 30 minutes every time I go to the nest, it's just that good! The owner and staff are so nice and generous, and the services are top notch! Everyone at the spa treated my daughter like a princess! My daughter has been very ill and not able to be physically active so we decided a manicure would be a great thing for her birthday. Morgan did her nails exactly how she wanted them and made her feel very special. It is a week+ later and the shellac manicure still looks perfect. Oh my gosh, I have never been to a more amazing nail salon or had a better experience then The Nest Nail Spa! My sister, mother and I were here for my brother's wedding in Golden on 10/7 and I had found The Nest Nail Spa online as it was close to our hotel, Homewood Suites Lakewood (3 blocks from where my brother lives), and had really good reviews. The staff here was AMAZING, they were so so sweet, down to earth woman, genuinely cared about why we were in the area, our needs... and everything beyond. We all seriously felt like they were our friends when we left and were sad to leave. And then there was the amazing scrubs, products, aromas in the air and the service from the ladies. Hands down the best manicure and pedicures that all 3 of us have gotten, and we have had a ALOT of them. I wish they were a chain as I live back in Iowa and want to go here as much as I can. My mom, best friend and I had set up an appointment a while ago for my friends birthday to all get manicures and pedicures. It started out ok and we all got our pedicures done, the pedicures were just ok but felt extremely rushed. My mom and my friend then went to the tables to get their manicures done. Meanwhile I'm still sitting in the pedicure chair waiting for my manicure. After a... while they told me that they had accidentally overbooked and could not do my manicure at a table. They wanted to try and do it as I was sitting in the pedicure chair, which I do not like! It's not like it's cheap to get these things done so I wanted mine to be done like everyone else's and to be done the right way! They apologized and told me it would probably be another 1/2 hour before I could sit at a table and get it done, I said no because by that time my mom and my friend would be completely done with their's and we had lunch plans. I decided to just go up front and wait for them to finish and as I was sitting and waiting the lady up at the front desk decided to tell me that she would rather have a manicure done in the pedicure chair and that people request to have it done that way all the time.. that's perfectly fine if other people request to have it done that way but I wanted mine done on the table and under a light so that they can see what they are doing. She seemed to imply that it was my fault because I refused to have it done the way they wanted to do it! My very favorite nail spot in Denver/Lakewood area. (In fact maybe anywhere!) I am a little bit of a clean freak and notice little things that some don't. For example, every time the ladies are done with a pedicure someone else comes along to clean it and marks that is was sanitized with a dry erase marker. There is NEVER dust collecting on shelves or around the space. I value this because it shows that they not only care about quality nail services but also cleanliness. Additionally, these ladies are TOP NOTCH! I've been coming here since they opened and the only downside is they can't "squeeze" you in but it's simply because they do not overbook. When it's your appointment time they are ready and waiting for you. Book online! It saves time and it's super easy!! I've noticed a comment or two about chipped polish and high prices... chipped polish happens, we use our nails after all! However, I've only had this happen once in probably 30 manicures and 15 pedicures. I let Bre know and she made sure that I was fixed up and out the door again. The prices are fair for what you get. Was a first time customer and got $5 off from joining their email list.  Even without the discount, I think the prices for the Hummingbird (the shorter pedicure) in line with other places nearby that didn't have as nice an atmosphere.  Bri was my tech and she was lovely.  Wasn't too chatty, which I appreciate, there were TV's on, the chairs were comfy, I was offered water, and they took the time to explain the two different brands of polish they had. Great find. Super close to my house and was on the way to my apointment in the area. When I arrived they greeted me by name and were ready for me right away. They had a huge variety of non shellac colors (and shellac for more $) to choose foe my pedi. The seat was comfortable as was the water temperature. I warned the technician beforehand that I have MS so sometimes my feet jump or shutter with a light touch. She said it wasn't a problem and it wasn't!
