I posted a comment looking for recommendations on a new nail salon and this is the one I chose. I called and spoke to Dina Ross, she heard my story of failed experiences with my nails and has been amazing ever since! I started bringing my daughter and Bori has treated her amazingly and listens to what she wants. The salon is clean, welcoming, everyone one is friendly and all the girls do an amazing job! The owner is extremely friendly and makes each client feel at home! I love the acrylic nails. I get a set and gel on top and they last chip free until my next fill. I have a very hands on job and my nails always last. My regular nail tech is Den and she is the sweetest. She does a great job and makes my nails perfect every time. She always makes sure I like the shape and color before moving on. I highly recommend. I've been here 3x already. I come for the SNS dip. This lasts 2-3 weeks and is not harsh on my nails at all! The establishment is very clean, the ladies that work there are very warm and welcoming. Love this place! Meticulously clean, supplies are individually portioned (scrubs, lotions, etc) so you know it was only used for you, and the staff are all very personable. I have a latex allergy and Tram ordered nitrile gloves just so they would have latex-free gloves when I come in. That's service! This salon is the best!!  Jessie made me totally feel at home with her friendliness and her amazing pedicure.  I wear sandals most of the time so my feet are a challenge.  She always go the extra mile to do a great job.  The decor and the massage chairs are beautiful and relaxing. Every time I go here, whether I have an appointment or not, the wait is excruciating. If you call to make an appointment, they say "yeah yeah we have time" you get there and you sit and sit and wait and wait. You never have just one technician. You have to explain what you want four or five different people who work on your nails. That is, once I actually start working on your nails. They will wrap your nails in foil, and leave you sitting there for 45+ minutes every time. They all seem to have a terrible attitude. My daughter and I decided to give them a try several months ago, we had been driving clear to Thornton before. My daughter has Grissel do her nails and absolutely loves the job she does, very friendly. I have Victoria do mine, she is very good and does the most beautiful art work on my nails. I have been going to Allure for lashes almost 2 months now -- Victoria is the best in the biz!! There is usually a wait time even for scheduled appointments, but Victoria makes up for it by being ultra fast. I've been getting my nails done by Grisel since this place opened. Grisel is the most talented tech I have ever gone to, and I've had gel nails since they first came on the scene. I'm in food service, so it's nearly impossible for me to keep a gel manicure in tact for two weeks, let alone three. I can say with all confidence that I HAVE NEVER HAD A CHIP with Grisel. My nails last FOREVER. Further, Roxy is probably the best at pedicures, as she is super tolerant of my disgustingly callused feet. By Far, the best nail spot in Lafayette. Everyone is very friendly. I have been coming to this fabulous place for a year now, to do lashes, nails, pedicure and waxing.  With that being said, I'm there almost every other week.  And never have I seen any of the girls be rude to a customer, matter fact I've see customers be rude and they always try to smile no matter the situation. My first time visiting - it was Thursday, around 5:30p. No reservation needed. Walked right in. Roxy, my nail tech, was great. She listened as I told her what I like, and as I shared some specifics about my nails, in particular. The only negative was that someone came in to get a brow wax while I was "soaking" which meant that I had to sit for an extra 10-15 minutes. Only a sight inconvenience. I had a wonderful first experience at Allure. My spa gel pedicure was done so well and felt great too! The salon is also decorated tastefully and beautifully with new, fabulous pedicure massage chairs.They do not carry CND brand Shellac, but their OPI gel collection is great!My only complaint is that the price on the web site for a gel pedicure is $35 and when I came in they said that the web site is wrong and it is $40. The people that run this place have a very bad attitude. I asked (the owner) if they would spray their tools with alcohol before using them on me, and the woman said we clean our tools and she seemed offended/ upset that I asked, she told me her tools were clean not to ask her to do  that again. I have the right to have the piece of mind to have tools sprayed with alcohol before being used on me. I then received the worst mani pedi I have ever gotten in my life. She layered 5 gunky clumpy coats on and my nails, it looked awful plus she nicked me with the cuticle trimmers and I bled. I feel like she did this in spite because I asked the tools be sprayed with alcohol first. They also re use the block pumice scrubs on people which is unsanitary and against state regulations. Nail salons are suppose to use new files and pumice blocks on people thats how nail fungus and other contagious skin diseases gets spread.
