I came in with a friend on a whim for the first time. Right away we were seated and in no time our manicures were started. I have absolutely zero complaints due to the pristine quality of my nails at the end of the session. The customer service was amazing! David made sure I received exactly what I wanted and refused to finish until he felt it was his best work ever. He even made sure my nails were extra strong as I work a job in which I am constantly lifting heavy items and always risk fracturing or breaking nails. Every employee is very attentive to each customer in a personal manner, even with me and my friend who they did not know at all. The staff also have a special connection with each other. I got the gel manicure and regular pedicure. My technician did both largely with his own fingernails. He wore gloves for the lotion and salt scrub, but would use his fingernails and finger as a substitute for tools. To get polish off the side of or under my fingernails, he would run his along the sides and under. He used his finger to dunk in the nail polish remover, and then would rub it in my hand instead of a cotton ball. Both services lasted well over two hours, and he did the fingernail thing so many times that cuts under my toes and one of my fingernails formed, which stung like hell when he did the remover! He was very nice and meticulous, however, I was really thrown off by the technique as it was quite unsanitary. Good work from a few technicians but I was very unimpressed on their level of professionalism. I had a set of acrylics done last monday and having two fall off by today I booked in for a fix. I was asked repeatedly who did my nails originally and at the end of my appointment I was charged $5 per nail because someone other than the person that did my nails fixed them. Worst pedicure ever!!!! Didn't even file the side of my big toe, so rushed! I took my daughter with me and they charged me $25 for Little girls pedicure, come there's not even $25 worth of work to do on her feet. Our total was $84 when it was all said and done. $84! One of the worst manicures I've had. It's like they hired someone who had never done nails before. My nails are filed crooked and two nails are still rough on the edges. She is the manager of this location and let me tell you her and her staff know how to make you feel welcomed and they take care of anything you need when it comes to your cut, style, or if you need anything for home. Incredibly disappointed! Went in around 1:50pm today and received a terrible pedicure, and it wasn't even busy. Pedi lasted maybe 20 minutes. The sugar scrub is still all over my calfs with oil (that smells stale if that makes sense) on top so now it's shower time. Going to repaint my toes myself before I do since polish is all over and scraped up along with small black hairs?! Where did the hairs come from? Linda is amazing if you like detailed designs. I tried somebody else who was closer to my house and came back to her bawling because they did such a crappy job. She is fun and easy to talk to but also keeps an eye out to make sure all of her customers have been taken care of (she's the owner). She ALWAYS makes sure you are happy with her work - I am a perfectionist and her extreme patience and kindness with someone like me is noted lol. Any issue and she fixes it right away, no problem. Live in SD and got married in Evergreen. didn't want to get nails done in SD since we had almost a whole week before the wedding. Since I found this place on Yelp, it only seemed right to go back and leave feedback. I wish I had this nail salon at home. They greeted my sister and I so quickly and politely. They all speak great English. Good selection of gel polish and offered a gel pedicure where I've found other people hesitate to fulfill this request. I really wanted my nails to look natural but had a few break the week before sp I decided to get acrylics. I wish I remember my techs name because my nails were perfect. Super thin, perfect shape. This is the best nail salon I've ever been too! They are super friendly, as well they do a fantastic job on the full sets. I've been going to them for over a year and no matter what I ask them to do they do it. I was mislead by the yelp reviews. True the place was cheap. And the owners may be nice. However the place was dirty and neither the towels nor the instruments are washed much less sterilized between clients. It is an infection waiting to happen. I just finished my shellac manicure/brow wax at the eponymously named Fantastic Nails/Tan Salon, simply because...well, it was  FANTASTIC! I had requested David based on the other Yelp reviews and boy did it help. So friendly, gentle and skillful. I will definitely be back. His lovely wife also did my eyebrows, which we all know can be a scary thing to try someone completely new. She worked on shaping very conservatively as I had requested. I got a lovely, natural arch on both sides. So quick but yet so efficient/non-rushed. I will be seeing her again too. I am also so grateful to say that as I was returning to my car I had noticed a small flaw on one of my shellacked nails. Know what?? No biggie! The lovely Missus (I regret I didn't get her name; next time for sure;)) again quickly/promptly hooked me up with a gracious re-do. I personally fell that mistakes happen and are fine as long as they are respectfully fixed and handled with care and respect. I don't get my nails done often, maybe once a year, but decided to have a gel manicure done for an interview. The result was a laid back, great quality manicure at an affordable price. There was a short wait, maybe 15 min, but every chair was full. They have an enormous selection of gel colors to choose from - at least 50 or so. I chose a neutral color with a little glitter. The girl that did my nails recommended doing another color underneath to make the color I chose more opaque and showed me what she had used in the past with success. And the verdict - it looks great!I did not feel rushed, she took her time shaping and trimming my nails and applying the gel polish. I'm VERY particular about how I like my nails done and really developed a great relationship with my nail tech in VA, so I was worried about finding someone of the same caliber. David and his wife, Song, are WONDERFUL! They put customer service first and their prices are very reasonable!
