Nancy did a fabulous job on my nails. My daughter had Jamie who worked diligently on her in grown nails. I highly recommend Nancy or Jamie for a relaxing pedicure. I gave it a try, but they disappointed me more than the rest! They don't know how to do nails. I asked for something simple, they were able to just to get me in the chair for the bussiness but when it was time to design 1 nail SHE COULN'T DRAW!! The price was very high!! I got a French manicure gel, on my right hand 3 fingers broke off cleanly, there were my real nails ouch........ My niece's Polish all came off that same night? If you have lots of money and nails repaired go there, otherwise chose another place. $25 regular feet $33 gel hands $5 more for French mani that didn't last a week:( I also left a $8 tip because they were not gentle with the pedi. I am VERY particular about my acrylics so for me to leave a 4 or 5 they would have to be near perfection. This place was nice, BUT since I was the last appointment of the day they painted my nails in a hurry, and basically rushed me out the door with wet polish. First time we went there it was alright. But it was a messy job and the girl I had was on her phone the whole time. Went again today with my friend and the service was awful. My friends acrylic nails already broke. They cut your nails down to the nub so they ware down super fast. And my nails were messed up as well. I've been to this nail salon a half dozen times now and have had a wonderful experience at every visit. The ladies who work here are always very friendly. The price is right and they work quickly. Would have given 5 stars but I'm reluctant to give anyone 5 stars unless i'm just simply left amazed, which isn't very often. I purchased my wife a gift card for Valentines Day and she used it last Thursday for a pedicure. Immediately after leaving the salon my wife called me and said that this was literally the best pedicure she has ever had. Considering she has gone to some other local nail salons a lot closer to the house, I believe she'll be driving a little further to go to this salon again. Also, not to mention the customer service from the moment I walked in the door, I was immediately helped, unlike some other salons where you stand there waiting for the nail techs to stop pretending like they didn't see you walk in the door or are too busy to stop and help you for 2 minutes spend your money and give the business. I went to Luminous Nails with my adult daughter and niece.  The gentlemen who did my nails was very nice and did a decent job, however the problem was they charged my card for the full amount (including tip) and then 2 days later charged my card again for the tip only!  when i called them I got the big run around and they have told me they would credit the tip back to my card but it's been almost 3 weeks and no credit!!  My daughter paid for the tip in cash and they charged her card $8.00 for the tip!  I will never go there again and would never recommend this place to friends/family. I am a regular customer at Luminous Nails (past 9 months).  I have always been very pleased with this salon. The services I receive are always professional, friendly, and the ladies I see are exceptional for my eyebrow wax & shellac mani/pedi and are definitely experts at what they do.  When they aren't available by appointment, and I see someone else, they do an exceptional job as well.  The location itself is very convenient for me and they are accommodating and affordable. They have painted my daughters nails and are so good with her.  The salon is bright, clean and has many options available for colors and creativity type of service with you polish/job.  I like that they have a customer loyalty card for services over $20, for every 10 stamps you receive, once the card is full you get $10 off your next service.  LOVE this place! I went in for a rebase on powder nails. The guy working on my nails didn't bother to remove the previous color I had. I tried explaining to him he can buff out the color to where just the nail remains and add the powder that way he told me that's too much work and he'd have to charge me extra- I said that's not a problem. I've got my nails done hundreds if not thousands of times at other places and each time they buff out the old powder color and add the new one. Not this time, he filed my nails but the original color never came off, he just added clear powder gel on top and then proceeded to add polish on top of the old powder color. The under side of my nails still had the old color and the lady sitting next to the guy working on my nails suggested since the rebase was already done they can try polishing the under side of my nail. Went there for the first time on Sunday 6/28/15 right when they opened at 11:15 ish. Walked in, everyone was busy so nobody greeted me, I put my name on the sign in sheet for an eyebrow wax and sat down. Was sitting there about 35 minutes when another woman popped her head in and asked "how long for an eyebrow wax?" they tell her "a few minutes" then someone walked up and took her back while I had been sitting there all along waiting patiently for well over 40 minutes at that time. Terrible way to run a business. Look at your guest list first before pulling someone back, thats why you have it on the counter to begin with. Will never recommend this place nor will I go back. Absolutely Awful!We came in and we were told we had a half hour wait. We waited the half hour.  The lady asked what color my wife wanted. We told her.  The lady said, "Are you sure?"  She put a sample of the color on my wife's nail and looked at her like she was stupid for wanting it.  Of course,  my wife said that she didnt want that color anymore. Then the lady asked what color my wife wanted.  My wife looked at the colors for about 30 seconds when the woman gave us a look of frustration, said something to her boss in another language, and then looked at the girl behind us in line and said come on,  We waited 30 minutes to lose our spot in 30 seconds.  I was stunned.  I looked at my wife and I could see the pain and anger in her eyes. I tried to catch eye contact, but she refused to look at me.   I don't know if the lady was just incredibly rude or if she was racist because my wife speaks spanish.  Either way, we will never go there again.  What's worse is that it was a mother's day gift to my wife.  Now, her mother's day is ruined. Even though my friend and I had an appointment, we waited about 45 minutes to get our pedis. Now, waiting wouldn't have been so bad, but we were sat in the pedi chairs with no water to soak our feet. And we weren't the only ones waiting. 45 minutes later they filled the pedi sink. My friends pedi started about 10 minutes before mine. the pedi itself was sub-par at best . Best. Place. Ever!! Very clean, very good nail techs. The shellac manicure there is amazing. Very good prices. And it's the only one in Henderson. I've had rebases there, but I love the manicures. They have a punch card which is awesome. The only down side is that they are busy, but it's cause they are all so awesome there. It's worth making an appointment to make sure you get in quicker. Living in North Commerce City, we have our choice of approximately 195732 nail salons (really, nail salons, liquor stores, pizza places and dentists), but I decided to give Luminous Nails a try a couple weeks ago. They just opened around the beginning of January, and are running a 30% off special through Feb 20, 2015, so that was enticing to me. I had a deluxe pedi for $25 (normally $35) which was excellent. The polish choices were plenty, the service was prompt and my nail tech was very pleasant. Business is still slow because they are new, so be sure to check them out!
