I had previously heard great things about Ella Bliss, but was hesitant to visit. However, I shouldn’t have worried. Everyone was very nice and Courtney (my hair stylist) and Amy (who did my brows) were both very attentive, listened to my requests and the results were amazing. I had Courtney for a blowout and makeup appointment. It was amazing! I literally have never felt more beautiful. I chose Ella Bliss because I was going to a military formal with my husband and it was close to our hotel. I did get a little lost and ended up being 15 minutes late but everyone was really kind about it. Another client booked right after me and it was apparent that Ella Bliss takes their customers very seriously because we weren't sure if we'd have time to add las...hes since I was late. Courtney wanted me to know that we had to get going and make sure we didn't run into the next client's appointment time. I appreciated that very much because it wasn't the next person's fault that I was late and I'd like to be treated the same way if the person ahead of me was late. Everything worked out. I was so in awe and amazement at how I looked. I screamed at the lady next to me, "LOOK AT MY FACE!" because I was so in shock that I could look so great. Called to make an appointment, the person I originally spoke with was extremely rude and made me feel that I wasn't important. Didn't offer any others available dates when they stated they had nothing open for the day I requested; just simply said they couldn't fit me in. I will never ever try to book an appointment again. I love Ella Bliss. I have never been disappointed with a service. I love how the membership is affordable and if unused, rolls over month to month, so I can come in for multiple appointments in one day. I mentioned how I wish the pedicure chairs were massage chairs and also wished the tubs had jets. The technician told me it is because those types of spa equipment are known to hold and breed bacteria. It makes me happy I can get a great service in a top-notch and super clean place. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the shellac manicure, as my nails began chipping on Tuesday (only 4 days after I had them done). They look fine from a distance for the most part, but up close they are not pretty at all. That being said, the service itself was top notch, and everyone I spoke to was very friendly and welcoming, not to mention the pedicure I received was amazing. I have never had a facial in my life, thanks to Beth, it will likely be a monthly occurrence now. I did the 50 minute session and Beth put me to sleep. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She suggested products to help with my super dry skin and educated me on how to wash my face from now on, NO More Bodywash! Wow. I came here for my first massage, pedicure/spa experience in Denver and I am AMAZED. Literally, if I were going to design a day spa, Ella Bliss is what it would be. First of all, they provided me with a complimentary drink as a first time visitor, so my pink mimosa helped get me in the zone for my day of pampering. They have a full bar with tons of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drink options, so I highly recommend getting there well before your appointment to enjoy a cocktail. The staff was super friendly and made me feel comfortable while I filled out the paperwork for my massage, then I was brought into the spa waiting room where I could sip my mimosa and begin relaxing with the tranquil music and aromatherapy samples. Amanda did my massage and it was awesome. Sometimes I spend a lot of the time wondering what is going to happen next or wishing they would alter the technique, but Amanda was really sweet, focused on my tension areas, but was very receptive to if I needed anything changed up. She gave me a hot neck wrap, an eye mask, and the bed was already at a proper height for me, which has NEVER happened in all of my spa going life!!! I definitely am going to upgrade to a 70 or 90 minute massage next time, now that I know how awesome they are. Next up was my pedicure, with Vanessa, who was super sweet, and got me a small, very comfortable chair so that my feet would be at the proper height, and I wouldn't be in an uncomfortable position The scrub, and leg massage was awesome and although she was super efficient and did a great job, it was the fastest pedicure ever! Perfect for me. I am so sick of trying to go for a "quick" pedicure and having to sit there for 3 hours because they do so many pointless things and make you dry for 20 minutes. Another really cool feature is that EVERY pedicure chair has an iPad, so you can surf the web or read digital magazines instead of fumbling with gross old issues of People. I also asked for a glass of water during my pedicure and was surprised to be handed a real glass with ice and a straw, instead of a paper cup of lukewarm water. They also bring you a wheel of all the color swatches for your nails so you can choose your color as they begin, so you don't have to stand around awkwardly looking at the bottles on the shelf! They really thought of everything in terms of efficiency! After all of my treatments (that went by way too fast and I had wished I could stay all day) I went to pay and because of specials, everything ended up being HALF of what I expected. I was simply amazed, and the girl who cashed me out, kindly explained their membership program to me without making me feel pressured to purchase anything that day. Because of that, I might even be more likely to sign up. Oh Ella Bliss, I cannot wait to come back, you are exactly what this stressed out girl needed on a Sunday afternoon. Update: I did sign up for the membership and look forward to my monthly escape from the busy city life! I have had a facial, waxing, and many staff and never had a bad experience! I am now planning how to incorporate the world of Ella into my some day wedding plans ;)Read Less
