I have seen this salon for my last 4 shellac pedicures. I went for a pedicure at another salon that does my finger nails & had them do a pedicure last weekend. Apparently, I have a nail fungus under my toe nails. I've never had this before. This is due to unclean tubs and/or tools. I called DTC Nails to let them know, asked for the owner/manager, but they did not let me talk to one. This is in a nice area of town & I am so mortified that this happened to me. I will not be going back & I would not take your chances at this salon. They are extremely expensive, as well, so you would think with their prices their salon would be of the utmost cleanliness. I needed to get a quick mani pedi the morning of a wedding I was in. DTC nails is very clean with pleasant staff, but the work was sub par. They didn't soak my cuticles like most places do and they barely touched the awful calluses on my heels. She used the pumice "sponge" for about thirty seconds total and then continued on - no real attempt to smoothe my cracked, rough heels. I could have overlooked all this, but after paying them $55 plus a $10 tip, the polish was already chipping the very next morning - even on my toes, and my toenail polish has been known to stay on for weeks without chipping. I am always amazed how many bad nail salons there are in Denver. I want to like this salon because it's in a great location and it's a nice-looking salon. But I have had so many bad manicures here I just give up. They spend very little time on nails and the polish doesn't last more than a day. And they charge too much for a bad manicure. Read Less

Great looking nails, but didn't disclose pricing and raised price after completion. What am I supposed to say, unfile my nails? Seriously, no one charges $90 for tips w/ color. Shouldn't have to get price in writing. They got my money, don't let them take yours!!Read Less

Okay let me give you the run down.... I called prior to ask the price of a pedicure and eyebrow waxing... pedicure is 35.00 (pretty standard pricing) eyebrow wax 15.00. I was planning on spending 50.00 plus a tip. I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to help which was horrible because I left my husband alone with my 10 month old for the first time for some much needed relaxation! I am pregnant and was looking forward to the massage and I also have horrible dry feet and desperately needed to get them taken care of. I was handed a pricing menu while sitting in the pedicure chair.... the lowest price was 50.00... for the selected scents of the pedicures... I was told I needed a good massage due to the swelling in my legs from pregnancy and that to get the skin off of my feet I needed to go with the 80.00 pedicure bc the 50.00 isn't sufficient enough for my case. I assumed paying 50.00 for a pedicure would give me a sufficient one... so I chose the pomegranate scrub. I then realized that they weren't going to use the skin remover on my feet... the cheese grader looking thing that really gets the job done that is automatically used when you pay 35.00 anywhere else.... I was so disappointed. The one chance I had to get out of the house and pamper myself, and my feet still look horrible bc I didn't want to pay 80.00 for my pedicure. Basically if you want a full service pedicure you can pay 80.00 here and get everything you would get somewhere else for a third of the price. I left feeling defeated after charging 70.00 to my card and not even getting what I wanted ... just because it's in Greenwood Village...... please. OVERRATED. Read Less

Unless you pay for the over $35 pedicure you don't get the normal treatment like from other salons. I paid $35 and didn't get the normal callus treatment, plus my nails were not smooth and the polish was sloppy.  Showed my co-workers and they were shocked I still had rough feet! seriously could have done it better myself. The first time I went there it was great! This time not so much! Felt like if I didn't sign up for the $50 pedi, I was being punished. I wish I hadn't given a $10 tip, which is normal for me, but didn't notice how bad it was until I got back to work. Live and learn! Read Less

My manicure and pedicure both are always perfectly done.  Eyebrow waxing is excellent as well.  The salon is always clean, water is offered and they have soft playing music.  The massages are an added bonus! Read Less

Service was great. My mani and pedi the normal for a regular shellac they charge 50 dollars which is ridiculous. Then I ordered the pearl massage which was then 60 dollars again, not worth the money. Not sure how I feel about this place, I live right down the street and would have been a great place to go every 2 weeks but the prices are not reasonable at all. Unimpressed. Read Less

This place really cares about quality of the work! I was sitting waiting on my husbands service to finish and they noticed the pink polish was turning blue (weird!). Without me noticing, complaining or asking for it to be fixed, they had already pulled polishes of similar color and were redoing my polish! This salon is gorgeous, clean, and a nice place to relax. Prices are a bit higher than other nail salons I've been to, but the atmosphere and thoroughness makes it so worth it. Kim is great. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at DTC Nails yesterday.  Ladies and gentlemen, BEWARE of all the outrageous up charges!  I had a gel manicure with french tips and what seemed like a basic/sub par pedicure for over $100.  I was in sticker shock when I checked out...  The pedicurist was impolite and was very rough with the leg and foot message to the point where it hurt.  My feet still feel calloused because she hardly exfoliated them, isn't that the point of a pedicure?  The gal who did my gel manicure was nice but I found it so odd that she filed my nails after she painted them.  So, I guess time will tell if my polish will last. Place looks upscale but I did not get what I asked for. I asked for a acrylic rebase and gel manicure. She filed down my existing gel but did not actually rebase my nails! She placed some sort of glue on top and then did the gel manicure. Did not have me wash my hands after filing, so I have little bumps under the polish. Very frustrating for $70 plus tip Read Less

I feel really scammed by this place.  Their website says "lip/chin wax" is $10 and up.  I got my upper lip waxed and barely ANY of my chin, it was literally just a tiny part at the bottom which only required 1 strip.  She charged me $20 for a full lip and FULL CHIN wax. Wtf?  If I had known she was going to charge me that much, I would have asked that she actually wax my chin.  Rip off! Read Less

I just moved to the DTC and was shopping around for a salon. DTC Nails was the first and last place I looked! Michelle was my stylist and she was incredible. Her toe art was adorable and perfect, and she and Lois pulled up a picture online specifically for my request (I got a honeybee). I have thick problem cuticles on my fingers, and Michelle worked hard to beat them back. They look cleaner, neater, and smoother than I have ever had before. Their prices were reasonable for a perfect job and firm leg, foot, arm, hand, and shoulder massages! This is my new regular salon - it's good to be home! Read Less

Having just moved to the DTC area, I turned to yelp to find a new salon. This place gave me just what I was looking for: excellent service at a reasonable price! I had recently had a full set out on at another salon and they had totally botched it; my nails were thick, fake looking and way too long! Lee listened to what I wanted (short and natural looking) and immediately began the arduous task of fixing my chunky nails. She was very careful to get the length and shape of each nail just right! I so wanted to like this place. It was close, is very cute, and they were able to squeeze me in before the holidays. The pedicure was fine, nothing special, but when I got home I noticed my toenails were filed so unevenly I had to fix them. However, they took their time with my pedicure and I appreciated that.The shop got busier as I was getting my nails done, and I noticed the technician started rushing my manicure. I got gel and can usually make it last for 2 weeks, but this manicure didn't last at all. Nails were filed unevenly (again), and the gel polish started chipping within a couple of days, and was fully gone by day 6. Is this a cute place? Yes. Are they nice? Absolutely. Best pedi ever!  I am here on business and this place was close to where I'm staying. After reading the reviews on Yelp I decided to go check it out. I got the pearl pedi and it was pricey but totally worth it!  She took her time and did a great job. I had pretty badly calloused heels and they are perfect now. She even gave me a back massage while my nails dried. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in town. Read Less

What a cute clean place. I'll be back for sure. While a little more than the salon I've been using in Denver I've decided for the attention I got - it's definitely worth it. The ladies working there were friendly and while at some nail salons there's a bit of a language barrier - I didn't have a problem here. Free wi-fi = me watching Netflix on my iPad. My mom and I were searching for a new salon for our pedicures and tonight we definitely found the new spot! DTC is the cleanest salon I've ever been to, the technicians are skilled and kind and we will definitely be back.We went for the $50 honey spa pedicures and they were incredible. The massage was soothing and deep, the lotions and scrubs were fantastic and the whole visit was well-worth the price. They use a sanitized pack of tools in each client, a new file and new boards for each person. We love that.I also got a great brow wax that was quick and actually relatively painless. I'm so happy with my DTC experience and I definitely recommend others to try it out! Read Less

I'm new in town.  I was spoiled to death in Reno with a wonderful salon full of people who became my dear friends.  It's easy to say that my standards for salons are quite high.  I made the appointment yesterday.  I was greeted warmly when I walked in today.  The salon is gorgeous!  It is clean and vibrant and adorned with beautiful touches (lovely chandelier in the lobby).  The place was empty, and I had three people conversing with me about what I currently had on my nails and what they could do for me.  One woman listened patiently, and while they didn't do exactly as my dear friend Jen did, they would take care of me.  She explained all the pricing up front (which was pricier than in Reno, but I get it, I'm in a different market), and was so friendly and kind.  Anna took amazing care of me with my pedicure and manicure.  My heels do get calloused because I insist on wearing flip flops year round.  She was patient, kind, and gave me a wonderful massage.  She even cleaned everything up as my toes were drying.  The nail service here is top-notch - very professional.  I believe I will make this one my regular nail salon.  It is clear that everyone here takes tremendous pride in their salon and their services.
