This place has really improved over the years. I used to go but then stopped and now I’m back again. It is my go to place for shellac manicures and pedicures. My favorite is the peppermint spa pedicure because it includes a really relaxing foot rub. My manicures last for 2 weeks and pedicures can last up to 3 weeks. The Rudest & Most Rushed Experience! Came in for nail and toe color change with my friend on my birthday! They insisted on doing my hands and feet at the same time and rushed. While rushing both of the women hurt me several times, never apologizing. The lady doing my hands wanted me to lean over to one side so she can sit comfortably while I hurt my back and held my arm up for 20 minutes- after nicely asking if she could come to the other side so it wouldn't hurt me, she gave me a dirty look. After seeing her irritation at such a simple request, I tried to make amends by smiling at her & apologized for making her job harder but telling her it's a bit uncomfortable and she didn't respond whatsoever. I had a manicure and pedicure here. The service was rushed and they were rude--and ironically there were only two other people in there getting service at the time. Within one week I had redness and swelling under one of my fingernails. I ended up having to go to Urgent Care to get an abcess drained due to infection (and go on antibiotics). Stopped in for what turned out to be a disappointing lunchtime pedicure. My friendly lady got very cold and clearly lost interest when I said I wanted a basic pedi, not a $75 spa pedi. Obviously when you opt for a basic pedi you don't expect a lot, but a little exfoliating and rubbing would be nice. If you get a basic pedicure here know that it means your toenails will be filed and polished and that's it. I even have polish marks on my feet she was so quick and careless. I went in for an acrylic fill/ gel polish. They failed to mention to me that they don't offer acrylic nails until my nails were already stripped of polish and they were filing my nails down. She said that they could accommodate me but it would cost $60, almost twice as much as any other basic salon would charge. I was irritated that they couldn't mention that when I first arrived. After my nails were filed and filled in, she asked me if I still wanted to get them polished. Of course I did, then she told me it was going to be $70. It was at that point I paid them their $55 dollars and left. I will go to my normal salon to get them painted, I refuse to be hustled. I went here last week because I was waiting for my husband who was getting ha hair cut nearby. Thought there were some negative reviews, I wanted to see for myself what it was like. My experience was great. I got a basic pedicure which included a hot stone massage. My pedicure was perfectly done. I do not feel as though the service was rushed, and I was able to relax during my pedicure. I paid my tip using my credit card with no issue at all. I've been to several nail salons in the metro area, and they all request tips in cash - nothing new for me. But, there was no issue in paying with my debit card - including tip. Service was horrible and actual pedicure was rushed and sloppy mentioned the sloppiness and was told "yah yah" with a rude gesture. Had to pay another salon to re-polish. Called to talk to the manager and was told there was no manager, but she would refund me. I've been coming here for gel/shellac manis for a few months now and love it here! Each nail tech has a slightly different lotion & hand massage technique after nails are done. The manis last weeks without chipping. They have another location in Cherry Creek. If you want them to take time and go slow (like other reviewers have been complaining about) I suggest a payment with a nice tip *before* starting your service. This place is great. All the complaints are ridiculous. $8 is too high for a polish change? No one does anything for $8. And if you have painted non-gel manicures and you chip them how is that their fault? I go here every other week for gel mani and classic pedi and they are nice, good and reliable. I received a gift card for a mani pedi here from my boss, then read all the terrible reviews. The two girls that worked on my nails were not rude at all like everyone else said. They did a fine job, my nail polished chipped a bit the next day but honestly, it was regular polish so I don't see how you can expect any different. I agree that the arm and leg massages are way too short, and they are constantly trying to up-sell you on extra callous removing and higher quality nail polishes that cost more etc. I think this place is over-priced for a pretty run-of-the-mill cheap nail salon with basic service.They also have signs everywhere saying to tip with cash or check only, I was about to tip with a check, and she had me use my card anyway. I was leery coming here after reading the reviews, but I'm in a wheelchair and live close by... So I had to try. This salon is very clean and has posh decor. Jane did my shellac manicure and did a very good job. Onon dos my pedicure and was fun to talk to, as she did a great job too. They were very gracious regarding a 20% top (I read reviews where people were chased out the door for more tips not the case). I will happily return. I suggest you get the upgraded delux pedicure. I live and work extremely close to the salon, so naturally I was enthused that a nail fanatic as myself lived *so* close to a nail salon. I've been 3 times and have had a less than great experience. I look very young and am sometimes treated as such. Walked in the first time told them I want acrylic nails and gel polish and a really basic designs (straight lines across one nail) that I was charged $55+ (I figured it was expensive but they seem classy so it'll be worth it)she seemed annoyed when I said okay. the nails were lumpy, not straight. She rushed it. it looked bad overall. The second time, I went because my birthday was in a few days and after work I wouldn't have time to go anywhere else. I got a gel mani this time. She didn't talk to me(which im okay with) but she made me feel uncomfortable. She didn't offer me water or a hot towel like she did for the person who walked in after me. My nails were okay not spectacular, nothing my friends couldn't have done for me for $30. The third time, they just did a bad job on my nails. They were aggravated that I peeled my polish off myself. Told me my nails are ugly (okay thanks). I'm not one to make a scene and leave so I stayed. I usually never have cash so I tip on my card.They don't like that either. It's almost as if they prefer you to not tip at all if it's on a card. all I have to say is buyer beware. be firm when you go in about what you want and how you want it. I have been to this nail salon twice.Yesterday the second time coming in I zoned out like normal and listened to music when they do my nails. I didn't notice until she put acetone on my nails after filing and removing my cuticles, that she had horribly cut my fingers around my cuticles. I was bleeding all over both hands the rest of the day. I will NEVER go back again. My hands are much less sensitive so I can only guess a normal person would be protesting in pain at the way she was using a nail file on my cuticle bed. Worst manicure/pedicure I have ever had. First, the girl tells me I have a callous and she can remove for 10.00 extra dollars. I already chose a 35.00 pedicure. I said no. I picked out a perfect purple color and when it came time to apply it she told me it would be $5.00 more for the color I chose. I picked a new color. Besides all that the girl did a horrible job removing my cuticles. I will never go there again. I'm going back to my run down, Vietnamese place. Ambiance sucks bit terrific manicure/pedicure. I went to this nail salon last week. I did not have a pleasant experience. The lady who did my manicure and pedicure did it at break-neck speed, and spent no more than two minutes on the massage. She was very moody and seemed irritated that she had to perform the services. My shellac manicure is chipping after less than one week, on top of the shabby service. It was not relaxing at all, as I could tell the lady was rushing the entire time. I will not be visiting again and would not recommend this establishment.Read Less

This salon is terrible. I visited last week for a pedicure and shellac manicure. The lady, I assume the manager, who performed my services was in a terrible mood, and seemed irritated that I had come in. She rushed through my pedicure at break-neck speed, and spent scarcely two minutes on the massage. To top it off, my shellac manicure is chipping after only one week. I was not able to relax through out the services due to the mad rush the lady was going through to get me out of the salon. The services ended up being more expensive than what I usually pay elsewhere, by about $10. This salon is definitely not worth a premium.Needless to say, I will not be returning, and recommend that others try another salon if they are looking for a relaxing experience and shellac that can withstand over one week of wear. Every time I've been in they are nice and quick. They used to do a super quick shoulder massage at end, but seems they don't anymore. They want cash for tips FYI, but have taken my card in a pinch. I came here a few days ago wanting a mani/pedi. I walked in and asked the guy the price since of course, they don't have a website. He said $50. $50 for a regular mani/pedi!?!?!?! This place is insane. I was not about to pay that amount of money for a place with a lot of bad yelp reviews. They guy seemed happy to see me leave after I was stunned by the price. All the places I have been to in Denver have been between $35 and $40. I would have never come to this place if I knew how much it was and that is probably why they don't have a website. Literally was just here 10 minutes ago - walked in looking for a quick pedi and by the looks of it, they were very busy. No one acknowledged us and the lady I asked for a wait time acted like I was the world's rudest patron for bothering her. She scowled at me, "no time" and turned around and walked away. The customer behind me even acknowledged to me and others around us the rude look she gave along with her bad attitude. We both walked straight out.Being busy isn't a bad thing and I would have been willing to wait or schedule an appointment for another day. Two customers lost for life adds up quickly.Shame. Love love love it here! It's a beautifully decorated, clean and luxurious nail spa. The guy who did my pedi was thorough and thoughtful. The massage was fantastic - not a 3-4 minute jobby but a full 10 minutes! Heaven - sigh -... I also got a mani and the girl that did it was quick and did a great massage. Not once did I feel rushed even though I was the last client sitting in there. If you're in this area do make time to go here. You won't regret it! This used to be my favorite place to get my nails done.  Service has gone down hill.  The guy they have that does manicures is very rough with your nails.  They do a fast job, but not a quality job.  Will not be going back.  Also note, they raised the manicure fee fro $15 to $20.  Definitely not worth it! Terrible service. The woman helping me was annoyed when I wanted to change my color- mind you before she had even started painting. There was not a single person waiting and she flew through the entire mani/pedi like she had a line out the door. My shelac polish is already chipping and it has been all of three days. for the pedi, the water was scorching hot so I asked her to turn it down a bit. Instead, she turned the hot off completely and made it freezing. Terrible service. On top of it all, they were they most expensive nail place I have visited. I don't even want to give this place 1 star!!! I have never posted a review on here but my experience was so terrible I want everyone to know. I called before I went to make sure they do powder white and pink rebase and they said yes. I get there and JOY did an extremely BAD job. They don't have the electric filing machines so they do it manually and they don't have powder, they use nail polish instead so they lied! They weren't friendly at all either. It was crooked and never dried so when I got my keys it smeared and now they're ruined. What an awful experience. They did not put down a base coat and so the black polish STAINED my nails and made it nearly impossible to remove. FAIL. No massage, no lotion. I went here yesterday and my polish is already chipped......really??I had some time to kill after work and stopped by to get a quick polish change. They have a ton of both Essie and OPI colors along with colors from each brands new lines. I didn't want to whole luxurious mani with a massage, oils and all that jazz just a color change which was $8. A little steep for a color change however for me to have decent looking nails, bring it on, because when I do my own it looks as if a pre-schooler had just doodled all over my nails. I sat in one of their comfy chairs, propped my feet up and enjoyed the nail change. The dude filed and buffed my nails along with painted them and he was nice. In fact, the whole experience was nice---beautiful salon, clean, friendly employees, great gossip magazines. But then my nail polish started chipped less than 14 hours from when I got it down and that annoyed me a bit. Perhaps I should just shell out the extra money for a mani next time? Perhaps. Read Less

I noticed that there haven't been any recent reviews here. However, I was excited about the prospect of getting a stone massage with my basic manicure, and a shoulder message while my nails dry, per the 2009 reviews that I've read. I received neither of those! Perhaps some things have changed since the 2009 reviews were written. Otherwise, a nice $15 basic manicure. Received oil and lotion with my hand massage, and my hands were wrapped with a hot towel. It's fine if you come here for a well done basic manicure, but you'll be disappointed if you expect the extras, which they don't seem to offer anymore.My technician did mention the hot stone massage, though -- if I wanted to get a pedicure (natch!). Apparently no one had a pink & white rebase done at this Salon.My experience was not fantastic. The rebase looked fabulous after it was done, and the hand massage (to include a hot stone rub), was great. I was impressed and thought I had found my new place. Not exactly.2 days after my rebase, the nails on the right side of my hand started to crack, and on the third day a nail broke. I went back not even a week later to have my nail fixed (by the same person who gave me the rebase) and was charged $5.00. So I thought "this isn't fair", but sucked it up anyway. To make a long story short, a total of 5 nails cracked, 3 nails broke, and I had to pay for 2 out of the 3 nails. Never had my 5 nails fixed by this Salon. I will never go back.The nails I had on (1/3/10) were a new set from 3 weeks prior to this experience. I had to get an entire new set on 1/16 because my nails were that messed up.It might be great for mani's, but absolutely NOT for rebases. Read Less

This is my new favorite nail salon. $15 for a basic manicure, which includes an arm massage with a hot stone. Then while you're waiting for your nails to dry a guy comes around and does shoulder massages. What could be better?$5 for french polish, and it usually lasts me a couple weeks. Great manicure. I want to recommend 5th Avenue Nails to anyone who needs to relax! They have a lot of pedicure chairs and the wait is never very long. The staff is very friendly and the hot stone massage during the pedicure is amazing. I'd also recommend a back massage as your toes dry! The pedicure lasts a long time and looks perfect. Read Less
