Really nice people here. I want to make eyelash extensions my trademark look because I'm always too busy to apply makeup and they give me a nice touch of glamour. My concern is keeping my natural lashes in good shape while getting regular extensions. I asked the owner about this through a "Contact Us" reply and got a response within 24 hours that put me at ease. I previously had a very nice lash lady at another place, but within 3 months my natural lashes were destroyed. They assured me that they keep an eye on my lashes and that there would be no damage. They gave me a bunch of tips for keeping the lashes in longer (stuff like silk pillows, etc). I am really hoping these suckers stay in (I gotta do my part and be gentle, wash, brush, etc) because I LOVE EYELASH EXTENSIONS! Very expensive!!! $$ more like $$$$ got my eyebrows and pedi (no polish or color) GF got mani-pedi. Came out to $120. Honestly wasn't anything special for that price. Tried to call and ask about why it was so expensive after I left got put on hold for a long time. Kinda sucks. This salon really does not care about customer service or client retention. They have such a crazy turnover rate of technicians that there is no standard or quality control. I started going to vixen over 18 months ago, and had a great eyelash technician who later quit. I then decided to try some of the other technicians in the salon. Each time I went I tried a new technician ,and I had a couple of sets of eyelashes fall completely off within 2 weeks. I was appalled at how I could get a set that lasts 6 weeks and one that lasts less than 2 at the same salon that uses the same products (their own line) each time. I finally found Lacey, who was the absolute best, but she has since left the salon as well. After Lacey left I was passed around to a couple other technicians, who all sucked. I went into Vixen for eyelash extensions, and was nervous going in as I have never had them done. Kelly was SO sweet and offered to test out the adhesive on me to make sure I didnt have a reaction. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE ALL OF YOUR LASHES. I lost all of my eyelashes after getting them filled at Vixen for 6 months! It took 3 months and $300 of expensive serum to grow my lashes back but now they are permanently damaged. Seriously they are cheap for a reason: they do not know how to safely apply light weight individual lash extensions to the strongest and longest natural lashes. If you go to this studio, they will apply clumpy heavy lashes that will break or permanently stunt the growth of your natural lashes. The worst part is that this salon did not bother to tell me I was losing all my lashes and would end up with bald eagle eyes. They knew. I'm scarred for life now! Read Less

I love this place! The technique and customer service is amazing. Each eyelash tech has significant training and mentorship and I haven't seen or experienced a bad set of lashes yet. I see the owner, Charlene, who is a Level 4 and has been doing lashes for 15+ years, however, i would feel comfortable seeing any of her techs. You pay for what you get which is top quality. DO NOT SACRIFICE QUALITY TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS - I've known plenty of people who have chosen "cheaper" options and have had their natural base of lashes completely ruined. Vixen Lash Bar handles your natural base with care and when the falsies shed out, I don't actually lose my base. I typically last 3-4 weeks before needing a fill. Great place and great people! I really enjoyed my experience at Vixen Lashes! I wanted to up my eyelash game for the holidays and booked an appointment with an apprentice. Unfortunately, Vixen called me the day of the appointment to let me know that my lash specialist had called in sick. However, they booked me with someone more experienced for the same price. After I had gotten my lashes done (they looked AMAZING!) I found out the owner had done them herself for apprentice pricing! I love love love this place. I have never had a bad experience here. I've gotten my eyelashes done by an apprentice and by an advanced girl. Every time I get them done they look fabulous and last around three weeks. I usually get mine done by an apprentice and they always look good. I also get my spray tan here. There was an issue with them nor spraying close enough but they fixed that. I've never had my nails done here but they a lot of opi and gelish colors. Great atmosphere and awesome girls. Read Less

I had a fabulous experience here at Vixen!  From the moment I walked in there was a warm, welcoming and friendly vibe. I was greeted by Erika with a huge smile on her face and authentic conversation. She offered me a selection of refreshments including beer and wine, who doesn't appreciate a glass of wine while having their feet pampered? Erika continued to  make the entire process during my pedicure and manicure relaxing, which was greatly needed.You can tell this establishment treats their clients and employees very well, which isn't always seen in every salon.  If there was a technician who wasn't assisting a client they made it a point to welcome other clients and engage in genuine conversation solidifying their appreciation and welcoming nature. I went in for eyelash extensions and not only did I give more than one opportunity I gave them four opportunities thinking that eventually I would end up with a really awesome set of lashes that didn't tangle and look horrific within a week. I am a seasoned lash extension wearer and I know what a VERY good set of lashes should look like and lay like over the corse of their life. Seeing as though this is really the only place in Fort Collins with such high ratings for lash extensions I went in hopeful. I first saw a newer tech and it took two hours for her to apply a minimal set!! I was astonished at how much time had actually past when I left. Something that should have only taken an hour MAX. I knew even during application that the lashes were sticking together, but continued on realizing that if they needed fixed later I could go back and let them know. I waited a couple days and returned with lashes literally hanging down and poking me in the eye. They fixed them at no charge. I returned a few weeks later and decided to see an upper level tech and give it a chance with them. This set went on well but by the end of the first week I had a tangled mess of lash extensions that were falling out in clumps of 2-3 that had been glued together to one lash. I know this is NOT normal and lashes should lay nicely, not tangle and when they do fall out should only have one extension attached to each lash (any more than one and that can cause breakage). Even after this experience I gave them one more chance...same results. I'm very disappointed but now realize how spoiled I was with my lash extension applications at another establishment I went to for years, unfortunately it's in another county... :(The only reason I gave two stars and not one is because they are very sweet and nice to customers. I've been in here quite a few times, I've had eyelash services, mani's, pedi's. And spray tans! I've never been disappointed and have always had the greatest experience. My mom and I go there every time for haircut/colour, waxing, and nails and we absolutely love it!! The owner really takes the time to do the hair perfectly! Specially with the texturing/layering after drying. We really love it!! The first time I cut my hair there my hair was really long and I wanted a change so I told her to do what would look good, and we cut it very short compared to what I had had in the past —shoulder length, and I absolutely loved it!!! I wish I could give them more stars because they were nice people but four of us went in for manis and pedis, we all had different technicians and none of us were thrilled with the results. Bad shaping of the nails, poor job on the polish and apparently low quality products. Only four days later and my pedi is already rubbing off. Went with a friend for a quick pedi, only called 10 minutes ahead and the receptionist was very nice and accommodating and fit us in right away! The technicians were friendly and did great jobs on our feet, even giving us some lovely paraffin wraps (which we weren't expecting) and a standard, fairly short foot massage. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, from the music selection to the exceptional paint job on my toes. My only complaint (really not a big deal to me, but I mention because it might be to someone else) is that while receiving my heel buff, the technician scrubbed rather roughly at the top of my foot as well as the bottom and sides and it wasn't very pleasant/kind of hurt.
