Not a very good experience at all, don’t let the price fool you. I went in, expecting a manicure. They didn’t soak my nails or trim my cuticles, but instead used a little electric file. She rushed doing my nails, and they look sloppy and like my 10 year old daughter did them for me. I was excited to get the powder natural nails for the first time, but I’m less than impressed. I have gone to this salon only twice but so far, it has been nothing short of amazing. Today, I thought that my nails were a bit bumpy after they were done and Tiffany (I think that’s her name) had absolutely no problem re-doing it. This nail salon is now my new nail spot. I used to be a frequent customer at Glossy Nails, but the new ownership lost my business. After looking and doing my research I decided to go with U Got Nails. They are a very reasonably priced salon. My husband sat and enjoyed a 45 min pedicure. She took her time and made him feel relaxed. The owners did my nails. The wfie started and her husband finished. I am extremely happy with the service I received. They both took their time on my nails. They use the dip powder which I love. It's much more of a natural process with almost no smell what so ever. My daughter who is five was treated just like she was a paying customer. They did not get angry when she couldn't sit still. They just smiled and worked around it. The salon itself is so lovely and clean and the staff is really friendly! Unfortunately, my manicure is mediocre at best. I went in for a new set of SNS "Natural" nails when my normal salon was too busy to fit me in. I noticed that the technician was moving SO quickly I thought he couldn't possibly be doing a good job, but then he bragged that he's been doing nails for 8 years and can "do them blindfolded" so I thought maybe he's just that good and didn't say anything. Definitely not the case. My nails are super uneven and bumpy! Half of my cuticles have cuts and the other half, I've been picking product off of all day. By far the best nail salon I have ever been to! The staff is social and polite with guests, they stay on task and always do a fantastic job. I have been going here for about 5 months now to see Tiffany and she is such a delight! I have had both pedicures and manicures done, each with nail art. The natural nails are my favorite and they have a massive selection here! One of my favorite things about Tiffany is the obvious pride she has in her work. She is meticulous, focused, and not afraid to try new things. On a different note though, things do take a bit longer here. I can expect to spend about 2 hours, maybe less here. I personally don't mind it because I schedule my nail day for a time that I'm not super busy. Just know that you can't easily go during your lunch hour. I've been coming to this family owned business for a few years now. Tiffany does my pedicures, and Marco does my natural nails. My feet tend to get calluses and get really dry and rough, and Tiffany does a great job in giving me "sandal-worthy" feet. I purchase the extra callus remover service and it's so worth it. Since I've been coming here, my nails always look great. I get the natural nails about every three weeks. I have been to U Got Nails twice now. The first time was during a busy period (around 2 pm on a Friday) and they worked extremely hard to get me in. The second time was yesterday around 1 pm and it was much quieter. The service is incredibly friendly; Even the tiny pooch that roams around loving on the clients! They have a massive selection of polishes and services, complementary tea, coffee, and water, and keep the space clean. I love that you see the employees disinfecting chairs and work spaces between clients. I have personally seen Beth and enjoy our personable conversations. I can't say enough great things about Bella Vita Salon and their staff. They seriously go above and beyond! I chose Bella Vita as the salon I would have my hair and makeup done on the day of the wedding with my Mom, the Mother of the Groom and my two Bridesmaids based on Yelp Reviews. I had never been there before. Before actually booking the salon, I worked with Jill to coordinate and schedule the services. She was very friendly, organized and easy to work with plus super n...ice. It was a perfect combination and put me right at ease. She scheduled my hair up-do with Jocelyn and my make-up by Meaghan. I had a trial appointment about 60-days before the wedding. It went wonderfully. Jocelyn is a magician with hair and very flexible. She tried multiple hair styles on me before I found the one I loved -- it was so nice to not feel pressured to settle on a "I like this, but don't love it style." She made sure it was an "I LOVE THIS!" style. Meaghan was equally as awesome. She is very skilled as a makeup artist plus so sweet that it felt like I was hanging out with my best friend playing with makeup. And this is all just the trial! In addition to my trial, I scheduled my waxings with Donna and additional hair services with Jocelyn like a haircut, a gloss and a blow out. Every time I visited Bella Vita I left feeling like a million bucks! On the day of the wedding, we arrived around 11AM and were whisked away to their Tranquility Room. We were able to comfortably set up shop there while we there for our services. The staff were on time for every up-do and every make up appointment and continued to check in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It was all so impressive -- it actually left us with plenty of time to just sit and relax for a bit, something I was not expecting on my wedding day! Everyone's hair and make up also looked absolutely incredible plus it lasted the entire night! I actually had a friend comment on the staying power of my make-up around 1AM at the after-party. Impressive! It was raining that day and the front desk staff made sure not a drop of rain got us when we had to move to the car. They not only packed up our bags in the trunk, but they took us one-by-one to the car under an umbrella. This was an above and beyond service that I truly appreciate. All in all, Bella Vita did an outstanding job making us all feel and look like our beautiful best selves while exceeding all of my expectations in customer service. This 1-star rating is only for the $52 I was charged for my 12 year old daughter's haircut today. Everything else at the salon is 5 stars and has been for the 10+ years we have been customers. The BV website states that youth haircuts are $34+ (depending on time, product and technician). When I booked the appointment I specifically stated that it was for my 12 year old daughter. A junior level stylist would have been perfectly fine to take a couple of inches off her straight, shoulder length hair. The whole appointment lasted about 30 minutes. The stylist was totally lovely, polite, personable and very interested in explaining how she angled the front of the cut. My daughter is very pleased with the cut, however I think the price is a bit much, even for North Andover. Read Less
