Asia nail is always having an issue with the customers because 1) they charge way to much for additional services ( I got a refill and they tried to charge me 10 dollars to cut my cuticle ) 2) when you come into the salon they have at least 3 people work on your hands for one service . (Confusing to people like me because you don't know who to tip)... 3) the work is rushed !!! It's all about up charges . 4) making appointments that they can never keep . Best pedicure in Chester county.... not just an upgraded polish change like some places call a pedicure..... they work and work on your feet until they can't make them softer or prettier..... equals a very upgraded, much more expensive pedicure at other salons. Spent 3 hours in this place. 5 different ppl doing my nails. One took my polish off, another filed me, another did my fill in, another polished me.last one put lotion on my hands and wiped my hands with a hot towel. I started going to Mya for waxing. She started doing my nails 3 months ago. They have a large selection of colors, gel and dip powder. I love the dip powder it lasts 3-4 weeks. I have been going to this place since they opened. They have already expanded and updated the salon to meet the growing clientele base. The staff is all top notch with their work, super friendly and inviting. I can always count on a creative design and quality work. Super trendy with all of the latest polishes! I've never seen so many gel colors at a salon. Busy at times (simply due to the salon's popularity) but well worth the wait for the quality of work you will receive! Love them! Highly recommend! Barcelona has a wide variety of services- I have come to get my hair highlighted/cut while being able to squeezing in waxing or teeth bleaching while my color sets. They offer a ton of products, and everyone is really helpful and friendly.I have been coming to Jessica for over 15 years, and she is by far the best colorist I've ever had (including the people I've tried in Miami, NYC, and Los Angeles). I agree with the previous reviewer.. Brian is amazing! By far my all time favorite haircuts have come from him. HOWEVER I recently learned that Salon Barcelona fired Brian for no just cause and now when you call they won't even tell you the name of his new salon. Brian now works at Salon West and is totally taking appointments. He really is the best and the nicest person you could ask for. I was never a big fan of Salon Barcelona and after learning how they treated Brian (seriously nicest person on earth) I could not recommend their studio. Read Less

I am a big believer that a salon is only as good as its stylists. And for that reason alone, I am giving Barcelona 5 stars.My stylist at Barcelona (along with my sounding board, shoulder to cry on, etc) is Brian.Brian is amazing. He is the most thorough, careful, and detailed stylist I've ever been to.He generally takes about 2.5 hours to do a full cut and color on me, which I don't mind at all because he is a great person to talk to and I know that my hair is being taken care of completely.One of the best things about his stylistic abilities is the fact that he actually LISTENS to what his clients want. Instead of going in for a trim and coming out with a pixie cut, when I ask for a small amount to be cut off of the ends, he cuts off as little as possible while still getting all of the yucky split ends out.My color is always followed by an amazing head massage, shampoo, and style.
