Amazing! I used the Riverspointe Spa for my wedding hairstyles and the hair styling of my bridesmaids, and they did amazing! My trial appointment allowed me to try different styles to see what I liked, and they were amazing at working from pictures and suggesting ideas for me. On the actual day, they were so accommodating with our big group, and all of my bridesmaids loved their hair! I got so many compliments on my hair at the wedding, and the staff was all very responsive and easy to reach. Awesome location and amazing staff. Melissa has put together a really strong team of massage therapists, and the float spa is such a great addition!! My husband went in for a blowout the morning of our wedding. I made the reservation for him online and therefore wasn't sure how they would react to a guy walking in with hip-length hair, but they were warm, friendly and so so helpful! He had a great experience. In addition to the blowout, they trimmed off a few inches (much needed) and gave it to him (in case I wanted it; their suggestion :-) ). When the hairstylist (Sharon) found out we were having a Scottish wedding and he would be wearing a kilt, she made the genius suggestion of doing a half-braid. It looked **amazing**!! We were very happy with the service except for one thing. When the stylists finished and went back to the spa, they forgot to include the tip while totaling and processing the final bill. They called and texted me during our wedding ceremony and reception to tell us what had happened. During the reception, I texted back saying my mom will call tomorrow and give you her card. They responded saying it needed to be taken care of by the end of the day. I had to go to my mom during my wedding reception, and have her call to finish the payment. I thought it was very rude and inconsiderate to take myself and my mom away from our wedding day because of a mistake that the stylist made. This was not our mistake. It could have easily waited until the next day. They took us away and we will never get the moments that we missed back. We were very bothered by the way it was handled. Read Less

Riverpoint Spa is an honest to goodness spa located on the river in downtown Estes Park!  I went in for a massage and a pedicure and was so totally delighted, and I am already planning my next visit...Scheduling was easy:  I left a message and they called me back and we scheduled something convenient and quickly.On arrival, I was given a roomy robe and a locker and then I relaxed in the dry sauna for 20 minutes or so, and then in the relaxation room. Paula came and collected me and the 90 minutes of deep tissue massage began. And it was serious. Paula did not go easy on me!  I requested firm/extra firm pressure on purpose and Paula delivered.  Ouch. In a good way.The pedicure with Wendy afterwards was in contrast delightful!  The massage chair was amazing and Wendy did a superb job on my toes and was easy to talk to.I am so pleased and will be back soon. My only down comment is the locker room was just a little tight, but they do great in the space they have. Rest assured you are entering a professional serious spa, and enjoy your time there!! Came to Estes Park for our wedding. My bridesmaids mistakenly booked two nail salons for the day before. Within the hour we realized the mistake and called to cancel here, only to find that they wanted to charge us a $110 fee. They never discussed any cancellation fee with my bridesmaids. Great spa! We went yesterday evening and immediately felt relaxed and welcomed! We booked the 90 min river Rock massage and our therapists could not have done a better job. I would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!We added on the relaxation ritual. It was ok. I wouldn't spend the extra $20/person though again. In my opinion, that extra service should be automatically included for anyone that books a spa treatment. It was a hot foot bath with a warm wrap around your neck and warm mittens. I've been to several spas where this kind of "extra" enhancement is automatically available to individuals if you arrive early. ( this is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars).Note: if you are using a spafinders gift card, you are not eligible for the monthly promotions. I wish they would've told me that before I added on the relaxation ritual. Other than that minor complaint, and the suggestion about having the relaxation ritual included with the spa package, I wouldn't change anything. OUTSTANDING. We felt welcome immediately, very slow paced and relaxing, Melissa made sure to customize my massage and gave great suggestions for essential oil add ons. Me and my fiancé went today for our three year anniversary and we honestly couldn't have had a better experience it took our expectations and completely blew them out of the water! Riverspointe Spa somehow managed to get my previous, honest review deleted.  I will write another because I feel tourists and locals alike should walk in very informed with the experience they are likely to have and the response they'll get when disappointed. I've been twice only because I was given gift cards. First time I had a good massage but frustrating experience with the culture and atmosphere there.  Email me if you'd like specifics but it was extremely unprofessional.  Forward a few months and one gift card later I thought I'd try again.  I learned my previous massage therapist had been "dismissed" from employment so I had an eh massage the second time around. I also attempted a mani/pedi  which was WAY  over-priced and sloppy. Again, I found management unprofessional in their conversations and conduct in front of me and other guests. All employees (aside from management) cycle through here quickly so the experience is frustrating.  I'm mostly disappointed in the owner's inability to address issues professionally.  Her replies to criticism, my review and all others below, her actions to have my previous review deleted, not to mention multiple private email exchanges where she defended their revolving door of employees because of "high standards" and denied that certain aspects of my experience happened. It's unfortunate that they can't put the customer's concerns into their business plan, therefore  I would avoid this place and visit one of the better spas in town. Read Less

I was rather disappointed in this place.  The location is adorable.  we went in for my pre-wedding mani and pedi and they did a good job of making room for three of us.  However my gel manicure came off on several nails by the end of day 1 and the flower on my toes flaked off by day two. Read Less

I really love this place.  It's a small place but I really love coming here.  The staff is really friendly and they do a great job.  I've had a couple of really lovely facials here.  My husband had a great massage.  They have two nice areas for relaxing... one where you can drink tea and sit calmly and then the other is their sauna.  When the tourism season gets crazy, it's nice to go there and melt the stress away. My boyfriend and I came here for for a bit of a retreat and did "the happy couple" package, which includes a "relaxation ritual" and 60min hot stone massage.The relaxation ritual was first, included a warm oil hand treatment (supposed to be analogous to paraffin wax) and fizzy foot soak. This all happens in the little lounge area and was a bit odd. The oil hand treatment wasn't great and my boyfriend was a bit concerned about the cleanliness of the small tubs they used for the foot soak. This is the place where any client can sit and relax before or after treatments, so people just walked in and out while we were awkwardly sitting there. Wouldn't recommend the relaxation ritual.The massages though, were wonderful. I had Temple as my therapist, and my boyfriend, Anna. Both of them provided perfect, consistent pressure. The hot stones were great as well. I've been to several spas and asked for focus on my shoulders (as I work a desk job during the work week), leaving disappointed, still with knots there (although fewer than I started with). Temple COMPLETELY rubbed out ALL the knots in my shoulders and gave me a wonderful full body massage. Totally recommend both of these therapists for massages! Read Less

Amazing little spa.  If you enjoy firm pressure you must try the Ashiatsu Deep Barefoot Massage.  Most of it is done with the feet, which may seem strange at first but it is phenomenal.  I think it has spoiled me for any other type of massage.  The strokes are smooth and it is more thorough than any deep tissue I've ever had.  Perfect for relaxation and sore muscle relief. The therapist who worked on me was so good and she was very sweet.  Although the spa is tucked away behind the downtown Estes shops, it was very relaxing once inside.  The waiting room served tea and refreshing lime water, and the entire ambience spouted relaxing spa.  After the massage they took us to a sauna where we could further unwind.  They're really good about offering couples massages and I think this would be the perfect place to spend a spa day with friends. Boooo.  Received a mani - a 2 year old could have done a better paint job.  I had asked for a "Bliss" mani, yet during the service noted that none of the activities listed on the website (ie. cuticle soak, exfoliation, hydrating mask, etc.) were taking place.  I inquired and was informed "nope, this is what you get".  I was charged for the "Bliss" service, tipped on that amount, went back to my hotel, and was like "what the heck?".  I called the "spa", outlined the discrepancy and they couldn't credit my card.  I had to take time from my vacation to go BACK to the place to pick up a checkfor the difference.  Really?  No other compensation offered.  Poor customer service and you don't even get what you pay for.  I also had a facial, and in fairness, that was a decent experience. Every time I come to visit my parents in EP, I also try to make a trip to visit Riverspointe Spa. Melissa, the owner, is so friendly and the whole enviornment is so relaxing. The downtown location is beautiful with individual treatment rooms as well as a comfy and cozy relaxation room. The spa is incredibly clean and they use top-notch products. I have had massages from 3 different therapists there, I have come out of each massage thinking "that was the best massage I've ever had"! They are known for having the best therapists around.
