Love love love these girls at Mimi’s! Today was my first time there as I was disappointed with service at my current nail salon and read the great reviews about this place. It’s located in the Inverness center by the restaurants and shops on the corner. I loved this place from the moment I walked in. Everyone here is so friendly and welcomed me right away with my name. The salon is extremely clean and modern. The nail desks are marble slate. The whole shop is just so cute and girly. They offer many different services at competitive prices. If your nail chips or something happens within a week of getting them done, you can call them and they will fix for free. It only took 45 min for my gel manicure which I greatly appreciate because I hate sitting for more than an hour for a quick manicure. I called on Monday and they weren't able to get me in until Wednesday. Typically, I don't wait I'll just go elsewhere but I am glad I did. It was Valentine's Day and my significant other wasn't going to be home so I figured I would treat myself. I got a shellac manicure and a pedicure. The technicians were both sweet and did good work. The have tons of shellac colors which I really appreciated and the technician recommended the longest wearing brands which was helpful. They even did an accent nail for free. Pedi was relaxing and even though her next appointment was there she didn't skimp on my message or application. They offer you a drink when you get there which is a nice change from the typical rush you in, rush you out nail places so common these days. I went to Mimi's because I read amazing reviews on Yelp, and I hoped this would be my go to place. The girls are super nice, the place is extremely clean and beautiful, and my nails tech was very nice to talk to. However, I am not too happy with my nails. The cuticles were not removed, my polish looks like it's a few days old already (it was done yesterday), and my thumb nail which was broken was not fixed, and she did not apply polish over the chip to cover it and prevent from further chipping. I asked for deep red, I even showed a picture a few times and the color turned out to be deep purple. My mom's nails were done beautifully! Unfortunately, mine were not what I was looking for. I just stopped in for a Gel Manicure that was long overdue! I was greeted by Grace who also did my nails! She was so sweet and we had an amazing conversation. I absolutely love my nails! She did such an amazing job!! The salon is super modern and extremely clean. I'm definitely going to come back. They have a punch card systems as well. This is honestly the first time I leave a nail salon absolutely in love with my nails! I usually get just a regular gel manicure with a square shape but decided to try something new this time! Came in today on my lunch break for a gel mani.  I was seated about 5 minutes after my appointment time and was out the door 45 minutes later!  Grace did a fantastic job on my nails- she was meticulous and pleasant to talk to.  Cost was $35 which is what I usually pay at my neighborhood nail salon.  Mimi's is very clean.  Decor is classy/luxe with marble and metallic accents.  Would highly recommend. I honestly have no idea about the quality of their work because when I walked in on a Friday at 12pm for dipping powder (an advertised product) they told me they didn't have a tech that could do that.  How does a nail salon not have a tech that can perform an advertised product working? I've worked in the beauty business for 18 years which means I'm a little more picky than most. I've been looking a long time for the perfect nail boutique. Mimi's Nail Bar is it people!! Mimi (and staff) are fabulous on all points: talented, friendly, clean and very attentive to detail. The atmosphere is clean, hip, trendy but also relaxing and welcoming. This nail salon is clean with a sterilizer, and all new equipment including the super comfy chairs! They even have foam blocks that hold your foot up during the exfoliating. The space is really nice, and so are the employees. I'm really happy they've come to my go-to retail center! Read Less

Mimi's nail bar is THE BEST that I have ever been to!!  I will never be going anywhere else to get my nails done.  I told Mimi that I was going to be abroad for 3 weeks, and I needed nail extensions.  She used her dipping technique to do the extensions, and they lasted for 5 weeks!!! UNBELIEVABLE.  They never lifted, never chipped, they just grew out like they were a part of my normal nail.  Is this even possible? While I was abroad, during week 4, they just shaved down the gel polish, and put a new coat of gel polish on my nail, without having to touch up the extension or remove them, because mimi did that great of a job on my extensions.I've gotten my nails done hundreds of times in my life, and I thought it was expected to have them lift after a week or two.  Mimi has set the bar for any future manicures that I will be getting.  Not to mention, during that one month that her extensions stayed on, my actual nails grew out from under them, so when I saw Mimi after a month, she removed them gently (my nails, for the first time, were not ruined and weakened by the extensions) and shaped them for me, and now my actual nails look like extensions!!! I am so ecstatic about this. My nails have never looked so beautiful.  I can't believe they're mine!!Mimi is a perfectionist, which can be sensed the minute you walk into her nail salon.  It is meticulous.  All of the tools and the place itself is brand new, which is an added bonus to the fact that she does an amazing job.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Just moved to this area, and randomly found this place. This salon is brand new, SUPER clean, all the tools are very well sanitized, cute and modern interior!! I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure, the price is affordable, and the end result was amazing. My manicure has been 2 weeks old and still not chipping. Mimi is so talented and sweet! I love this nail salon! I went here a few days after they opened and it was SO nice. This salon is so clean and beautiful! They are really sanitary and the employees were so nice to me. They made me feel like I was with my friends!They did a fantastic job on my nails and my feet and I can't wait to go back!!
