Shauna is what makes the Met Lo Salon experience fantastic. I've known her for years at previous stops - and she absolutely "gets it" as far as the haircut or style that you're looking for. She understands what you want and need, rather than tries to push a one-size-fits-all on ya.Mind you, I'm a guy with a relatively simple cut, but it's such a great experience (and peace of mind) to totally relax during a haircut (close eyes even) knowing it will be 100000% perfect. The way it should be...but how many if us can say that's how it truly is (it is at Met Lo).Beyond that, Shauna is an amazing person. I know she also teaches aspiring stylists - what a great role model!

I was so bummed about my experience here. I called to make an appointment. I had to call several times before someone answered. The lady on the phone seemed distracted and asked me the same questions...
I was so bummed about my experience here. I called to make an appointment. I had to call several times before someone answered. The lady on the phone seemed distracted and asked me the same questions multiple times, but I figured if they are busy, no big deal! I walk in, and there is one person working and she looks at me like I just interrupted a private meeting. So uncomfortable and I immediately felt like I was not welcome there. She says can I help you? Again, like I'm in the wrong place, or I was lost or something. I tell her I have an appointment and she gets really rude about it; arguing with me. When did you schedule it? Who did you talk to? Are you sure you're in the right place? Are you sure? Are you positive!? Listen, I just wanted to get my nails Hey done... I called, I made an appointment, I showed up on time (to the correct place)... and was turned away!!! She simply told me I didn't have an appointment; wasn't apologetic about the miscommunication, and didn't bother asking if I would like to reschedule, or how she could accommodate. I get my nails done every other week and I have been looking for a new spot. This place is trash and definitely will not be getting my business.

These women are amazing! The minute I walked in Jessica and Rebecca made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The offer of a variety of beverages is a very nice perk. Jessica is very attentive and knowledgeable and genuinely wants you to be happy when you walk out. I can't wait to book again and soon! My nails have gotten so many compliments and I love that they use steam to remove shellac!!! Love this place!

I absolutely love this place! I originally started going to Rebecca when she worked at one of those chain barbershops, and I was so bummed out when she left there. ... But to my delight, it was only so that she could open up the salon. It's even closer to my home, she charges me the exact same as I paid at that chain place, and she always cuts my hair just how I want it. Plus, though I can't promise these will be available all the time, I have been known to enjoy a complimentary shampoo and scalp massage, beer, or beard trimming from time to time. Go Metlo!

Rebecca has always gotten my difficult hair to look professional. She doesn't make her ego the priority when you're in the chair, it's what you want that's important. Great place.

Shauna is what makes the Met Lo Salon experience fantastic. I've known her for years at previous stops - and she absolutely "gets it" as far as the haircut or style that you're looking for.
