January is incredibly detailed, my nails always look great and when I need some extra-special treatment for an event, she's got me covered - tan, waxing, etc. Not to mention she's super-friendly and always greets you with a smile. January King is a goddess!!!What can I say about January that hasn't already been said?  Nothing really because she's truly amazing at what she does.I look forward to my bimonthly trips to see her (as do my nimble nails). I have that type of nail that just breaks in half as soon as it is 1/8 inch long and regular nail polish is a joke because it comes off about 20 minutes after it is put on. When January does my nails, I can go an easy 2 - 3 weeks without one chip or break; no acrylic in sight. She only uses OPI and CND Shellac but has so many colors, glitter, etc. to pick from. So, I literally just signed up for Yelp because of how awesome this place is for a Shellac Manicure. I've been getting Shellac manicures for over a year now, and while I came in October (I'm from Washington, DC) and have had others since, January does the best job!To start, the selection of colors was superior to bigger salons. Not only is she careful to apply polish to the tips before it's cured (key for a great, lasting finish), but she was also creative. I wanted something different than just nail polish and she gave me polka dot french tips. Be still my heart. January was so welcoming and friendly, I felt as though I had been coming here for years. January gives the best Mani/Pedi. She also informed me that there is a difference between real Shellac and FAKE. I have been getting my nails done somewhere else and they have been selling me the FAKE. She is upbeat and fun and really a great experience overall! I will be a repeat customer that is for sure. January runs a really cozy, affordable mini salon out of her home and instead of feeling like you are going to a nail salon, you feel like you are just going over to a girlfriends house and catching up, while getting a manicure!Her prices are so reasonable, and she is an expert at Shellac manicures which is my favorite thing to get! She offers a very large amount of shellac colors unlike most salons that only have 10 or 12, and she even layers colors to create new colors. She'll offer you a drink or an energy bar, and as long as you are an animal person her adorable dog or one of her sweet cats will most likely say hi while you're there.I'm so happy I was referred to her by a friend, I found my go to nail place!
