I love, love, love Kim! I have never had a manicure, with regular (non-gel...I'm allergic) polish last more than a few days, let alone 2 full weeks! After becoming allergic to acrylic nails some years ago, then gel polish, I thought I was doomed to just having a clear coat on my finger nails for the rest of my life. Kim @ The Painted Ten gave me new hope. Just know, she only does mani/pedicures, not artificial nails. She has a HUGE selection of colors of polish (mainly O.P.I.) in both regular and gel. I've been seeing Kim for pedicures/manicures for about 2 years now! Her business is bumming and rightfully so! She spends a great deal of time on each step and she never rushes through ! Her place is very clean, everything is nicely organized and she's always one step ahead of the next season! I had for example my pedicure done two days before leaving on vacation this June and after spending 3 weeks in the pool and in the ocean, the toe nails still looked perfect on our return back home! I have seen her today for a pedicure/manicure before a wedding we will attend this weekend and she suggested a fun, however subtle and very classy design one one of my fingernails and one of my toes. As a healthcare provider I am a little bit paranoiac about sterilization and cleanliness , and I can testify that I would never use one of the Mall places! All I can say is this business is AMAZING! Kim is wonderful. Her customer service is the best. She's very talented, cares deeply about the quality of her work and most of all doesn't reuse instruments without proper disinfection. And her place doesn't smell like a lot of the typical strip mall nail salons. Being form out of town, I found The Painted Ten when I was searching for a hair stylish . What I found was camaraderie, friendly atmosphere and individual treatment.
