I used to get my nails done every once in awhile, until I found JC Nails! They have great service, wonderful and knowledge staff. I love getting pedicures, especially in those amazing massage chairs! I absolutely love this place. I am new to the springs and tried this place for the first time a couple months ago. Since then I’ve had 5 different nail techs doing my nails here and every single one of them has done an outstanding job. They do exactly what you ask for and very friendly and professional. If you aren’t satisfied when you leave I think it’s all on the customer because if you tell them exactly what you want done they will do it perfectly the way you ask. Be specific and if it’s not the way you want then they will change it to the way you want, all the negative reviews on here I personally think are either because the customer didn’t specify or speak up if something was done incorrectly or because they’re just negative people in general. I had such an amazing experience with my daughter. Johnny rocks!!! He hooked me up with exactly what I wanted and it was a tedious job. Everytime I have come here they have always been willing to work with me on what I want. Kevin worked on my 5 year old and was wonderful with her. Decently priced and serviced. I just for a gel manicure done and it was done well. But even with an appointment made, I had to wait a whole 20 mins before even being sat down. My tech was initially not very talkative and short but she warmed up eventually.  The one thing that kind of bugged me and my OCD is...the manicures on the wall were all dishevelled and out of order in terms of color. When I arrived, I was assigned a technician who asked if I wanted a drink and waited patiently while I picked out a color for my nails. He started trimming and filing my nails then said he had carpal tunnel and needed another technician do my nails. Ok. While I was getting my manicure and pedicure he did nails for two other clients. ?? I don't like getting my nails done because each time I go, the technician nicks my cuticles and it stings! This is the first time I haven't had my cuticles nicked! Unfortunately, my nails look like they were done two weeks ago. They didn't get very close to my cuticles so it looks like there is already growth in my nail.While I was there, another client got kicked out for using inappropriate language. This place is great! The customer service is just exceptional! As soon as I arrived for my appointment I was seated with my manicurist. I was offered water or soda to drink and we began right away. Tony was my manicurist, which in my opinion is a perfectionist. Constantly asking me to check my nails to see if I like it. He also made sure to ask if I was a first time customer, as I was, he mentioned their policy, which states that the customer has 7 days to return if anything happens to the nails, they will redo them free of charge. I went here for the week of my wedding (bride here) with my maid of honor. My dad had gotten us gift cards for a free manicure/pedicure each. I had a basic mani/pedi on my own nails with gel polish and a glitter too coat. My sister had acrylics placed on her nails. We ended up getting charged an additional $74 in fees at the register! On top of what was already supposed to be a free manicure/pedicure each! We asked about the upgrades- nothing added up. We were even charged because my sisters nails were "long" but the employee chose the length! Lots of charges were added at the register. The employee that did my nails literally smudged the glitter top coat around with his finger! I told him that wasn't ok- it looked like a mess and it was for my wedding. He said not to worry he would fix it. Never having had a gel manicure before I took him at his word. When he started on the next hand I asked him about fixing it. He said he couldn't because they were already dry. At this point I called my sister over (they seated us on completely opposite ends of the salon) as she does her nails much more often. She was furious at the mess they were. The manager asked him to fix it. His solution was to file the top of my nails over the gel polish and paint over them. After three coats of this the manager came over to do it herself. It was a terrible experience and I absolutely will never return. We used to make coming here a tradition when my sister was in town and I know my dad and his wife frequented here often as well. They have lost at least half a dozen customers for this. I walked in for a gel fill and pedicure. And was serviced promptly and efficiently by Nick for my pedicure. He was very meticulous with cuticle care and callous removal. His massage was thorough and effective.  A nice job overall.  But the gel fill done by Megan was amazing.  She resculptured my gels to a natural modified coffin tip, and gently repaired a broken nail. I had a number of my nails schellaced using two mood colors with a French tip on 6 with full coverage on four and a deco design on two. The nails were perfect. Please check this place out.  There is a measure of performance that should not be missed. The attention given to customers and pride in workmanship is evident. I'm thrilled to have found JC Nails through Yelp!  My daughters and I gave them a try on a Wednesday and came away with fabulous looking nails.  I was amazed at the number of technicians on hand that day and at their capacity to take walk-ins, no problem.  You can make an appointment but it doesn't seem to be necessary. Everything was clean, efficient, and the price point was awesome!  Our desired nail colors were all available, too (and don't let the half-empty bottles on the front wall fool you - they grab full bottles from the back once you tell them the color you want).  We were treated professionally and with kindness and will definitely be going back on a regular basis.  It was fun watching the technicians apply acrylic nails to other guests while we waited.  Be sure to ask about their rewards program, first time guest discount, and pricing for children's manicures. Ive been to JC nails twice in the past month for a gel manicure. I had a pretty poor experience the first time. The lady that did my nails rushed. She was trying coat one hand before the gel light turned off with the other. I didn't take a proper picture, but my nails were unevenly polished (thick globs of it on several nails) and there were significant gaps from my cuticles to where the polish began. Because of those gaps, my nails started peeling and they barely lasted one week. By the time i was finished, my sister was still soaking her fingers to remove her previous color lol. My nails must have been done in under 15 minutes at most! One thing to note though, we did book the appointments that same day in which both appointments were available. I took one star off for this experience. I was determined to have a better experience so i booked an appointment with johnny based on others' reviews. Not having a work schedule for the week, i couldn't book ahead of time so I booked on the same day again. He was awesome and very friendly! He took his time to make sure each nail looked perfect. He even helped me choose a nail color most similar to the one in a photo i had for reference. The massage was great too. He took his time and i was out the door in an hour! I can't guarantee that this place is consistent because service varies by person. However, I highly recommend this place if you go to the right person!! Read Less

Just had a Deluxe Pedicure and full set of gel nails here after reading the good reviews and I also had a very good experience.  They have several levels to choose from with basic at 25.00. I chose the Happy pedi but added on the hot paraffin since my feet were so dry. That made it a Deluxe at 40.00 and it was wonderful. My gel full set was 30.00 and they are beautiful. They have 10 massage chairs and about the same number of manicure tables and were busy the whole time I was there at about 11:00 am til I left around 1:30 but nobody had to wait. I walked in, picked my color, and my hot water and chair were waiting for me.  Very  nice and friendly. I will be back when I visit Colorado Springs. Read Less

As my graduation is coming up this weekend, I decided to get nail while my vacation so I walked in this nail salon. Let's talk about atmosphere first. I've been to upscale nail salon to ok nail salon and they were in the middle. Nothing too special but wasn't dirty at all. Went in as a walk in on a Saturday afternoon, and they still squeezed me in.  unfortunately, the dip polish was a disaster, and the nail tech dipped my natural nails in two different colors. Thus, she filed them down and painted over them with pink gel polish. I wanted a very natural light pink dip polish, and now they are very un-natural and pink. I loved this place. Wish I could remember the guy who did my nails. He was super friendly. He left for California the next day for a few weeks so maybe ask who that was. Haha!Anyway, the massage and pedicure were fantastic. It wasn't at all rushed. It felt great. My manicure wasn't so great but I think he was hurrying because he knew I had to leave at 11:30 so I appreciated that. I am going to go back next month and I'll find out if the manicures are usually better. Not too sure what all to say other than it was great.
