The salon is very nice and all cleanliness procedures appeared to be followed. I was very underwhelmed with my 21 minute pedicure, including painting time. Not worth $30 at all. I cannot express how pleased and impressed I am by this salon. I'm the girl with the sharp stiletto acrylics that asks for 3 different color patterns everytime......and I may or may not be on time usually :). The salon itself is charming AF, they are the most efficient salon I've ever seen; and the results they produce are beautiful. Everytime. I have to say a special thank you do Di, Lee (both incredible nail techs), and the lovely front desk team. They have put up with my chaos like champions. I usually try out many nail salons. My preference on a nail salon will usually depend on the atmosphere, the people and how good they can do my nails. I was very satisfied with my nails, the lady that was doing my nails was very open to see what kind of nails I wanted to do. Everyone was so nice! The lady in the front was especially very kind. This is the most unprofessional nail salon ever. They try to tell you what u should get and when u refuse and tell em no they do crappy jobs. I can't say it was on purpose but I told this heffa i wanted my nails squared...i don't know what the fuck this shape is and I've got a crooked one but she argued me down that it wasnt. I went once b4 and requested a new design. They gave me an inexperienced tech who dipped my hand about 10 times, used half a jar of glitter on it. My na...ils we fucked up bad so they got another one to finish mine and she had to start from the beginning. New nails and all. After that's said and done they gave me a $3 off coupon but tried to charge me $80. I asked why they said bc the first girl used alit of expensive glitter. Yesterday I had a set appointment for a pedi, mani with SNS nails in a beige and white tip ombre effect. My technician is super sweet, (though on this occasion she was in a hurry). About 20 mins into the pedi my technician noticed the technician next to her asking his customer if she would like some water, so then my technician asked me if I would like some, I declined as I didn't want to bother her. The customer next to me received two hot towels on each leg, I received one draped over both legs, my heels still have thicker rough skin, not smooth at all, the french finish is ok not great. Now the manicure and nails 😩. At first as I am looking through the selection of SNS colors, my technician suggests I get acrylic nails which seemed a bit odd as she was the one who introduced me to SNS, first time she did them they looked great, ( my technician was rushing from the get go). I picked a pretty beige, again the technician suggested I get acrylics, my appointment was set up for an ombre SNS. At first things seemed fine until it came to the dusting of the ombre effect, the brush was pushed onto the nails on numerous occasions which left a thick application, then my nails were dipped into a white powder it seemed too many times, they all ended up looking very white which is not what I wanted at all. Because my natural color showed quite a bit around the edges the nails had a thick stick on appearance. Ugh, these are for my sons wedding next Friday which the technician knew. So, I decided to go back the next day early hoping for a great fix at some point. The technician who did the nails came over to me to discuss. As I explained the all white appearance and thicker application, the technician disputed with me, I showed how the beige I wanted on the base of my nails did not look anything like the sample color, another technician came over and starts abruptly telling me I could only have them fixed one time 😲, I hadn't had them fixed once yet. Sadly, I happened to notice near to us as the two technicians are trying to defend the job originally done, another customer saying something to her technician, that technician turns around to look at me and the two of them start laughing, I honestly couldn't believe how crummy everything was turning out. I was set to return last night which I did, the end results were awful, worse than the first attempt! I should have just put up with the all white thick stick on look. I ended up going to Ulta buying abrasive files to file down as much of the disaster as I could taking my cuticles with it and painting an all over color. I wanted a mani/pedi and No5 came highly recommend. My girlfriend decided to come with me so we booked in for Sunday afternoon. When I called to make the appointment, I asked about pricing because I couldn't find anything on the website. I was told $30-61 for a shellac mani/pedi. Great! We arrived and was given nail colours to look at and spa menu. I'm pregnant and wasn't sure how I would handle smells so I went for the basic spa package which was listed at $45 for the combo. I assumed shellac was on top of that which was right. The flavoured packages were all a little more expensive depending on what you wanted. It was my fault for not reading what was included properly but as it turns out, the basic package does not include the foot pumas. I was pretty disappointed when I got home and realised considering how much I paid but I guess I didn't pay for that. There's heaps of nail colours to choose from and she did 3 layers on my toes to make it nice and dark. For my fingers I asked if I could do an ombré, she said she can't do exactly what's in the picture and I pretty much told her to do her best...what I got looks great but is pretty different to what I wanted. She didn't really try to do ombré at all. It's colour with glitter on it. I got to the checkout and was told it was $98!!! And my girlfriend only did shellac on her fingers, not her toes and she was still charged $61! I'm not sure where the $30-$61 comes in considering the lowest price she paid for a shellac mani/pedi was the highest cost that they told me on the phone....doesn't make sense to me. All in all, my nails look great but I kind of feel like I paid $98 before tip, for not a lot. Wasn't really worth that much money.Oh and to top it all off, there's nothing like being asked if you want your eyebrows done too to make you feel real pretty. I had the silky milky pedicure. It was the best pedicure I have ever had in my life. Lots of scrubbing and rubbing with relaxing music and a clean comfortable atmosphere. You won't find a better nail salon then No. 5 - they are the best. Their standards are high and they are never slow. Make sure you call ahead and be glad when they turn you away. They never lie and you never have to sit there while they automatically say "10 min" like most nail places. They can get you in within a day usually. The inside is beautiful. They have a keurig and small water bottles. They have magazines and TVs.Services offered include waxing, mani, pedi, acrylic, shellac and regular polish. They are pretty clean and use plastic protection bags on the foot baths. I like the summer breeze pedi or the chocolate one when I am feeling indulgent.From what I gather the name refers to the 5 sisters in the family. I think they also have 2 brothers. I also notice they don't talk to each other the whole time, they talk to their customers. Just a gem of a place. It's located across the street from Arapahoe High School on University and Dry Creek next to Starubucks and Einsteins bagels. I no longer will go to any other nail salon!  They are accommodating when I request crazy instagram nail designs and it's not too much extra $ for designs.  Not to mention, my shellac usually stays on for close to 3 weeks.  The atmosphere is nice, always cleanly, and the staff is friendly.  Check it out! I have been looking for a new place that's closer to me, and I haven't had the best experiences. I literally drive by No. 5 every day (it's in the King Sooper's shopping center near my house where I do my grocery shopping), and I never realized it was there. The girl at the front was super-friendly.. not fake friendly, she was authentic. I was helped by Apple and it was seriously the BEST pedicure and manicure I've ever had, especially if you're prone to ingrown toenails. She is my new nail tech from now on. :)FYI: After reading reviews I called ahead and made an appointment. I called at 12pm and they were able to get me in at 4:15pm on the same day. I go to this salon on a regular basis for gel manicures, and I cannot recommend this place enough! In particular, Helen and Lee do an amazing job. The prices are reasonable ($31 for gel mani) and they work quickly. I always make an appointment as they are usually busy in the early evenings. Highly recommend! Read Less

I received a gift card for my birthday from a few of my co workers. Being in the industry, I'm super picky about where I go to get my nails done because I know all of the rules and regulations they are supposed to be following and most are in serious violation. Not this place. Super clean and sanitary with a very courteous and professional staff. They are a little on the higher end price, but in my honest opinion, you can't put a price on not getting some kind of infection from a place that cuts corners to save a few dollars.
