My mother treated me here to get pampered and relaxed before my wedding day last year. I received a massage, facial and bath soak. The treatments were nice and I felt relaxed while getting them. My only complaint was the disorganization of it all. I think that they overbooked that day, so in between treatments there was a bunch of confusion on where I needed to be next. As I was walking into my facial appointment the owner stopped the technician and told her she has another appointment after me. The technician then proceeded to argue saying that she needed her lunch break and she wont be taking the appointment. Then there was an uncomfortably long stare between the two until the owner said okay and walked away. I felt incredibly uncomfortable because I was standing between them in the middle of the doorway in my robe. I felt this was unprofessional because they could have easily stepped outside to discuss this matter without me there. Overall great experience! The salon is beautiful and my nails turned out great. The drink selection was impressive, coffee, cocktails and smoothies! My only disappointment was when I checked out I let the girl at the front desk know that I wanted to add a $15.00 tip, but she rang it up as a 15% tip, shorting the sweet girl that did my nails by $9.00. Bailey did a great job taking care of my 5 year old doing her mani/pedi/ blow out for our mommy daughter day making her feel comfortable and special. My pedicure with Courtney was relaxing and my nails came out nice, but I've had better. My feet didn't feel as soft as they usually do after pedicures and probably could have used more scrubbing. If it was possible to leave a negative star I would!! WORST. And I do mean WORST experience EVER. If you are looking for a blowout I highly recommend Dry Bar in Park Meadows. But this place is a joke. Though very pretty decor that is where the beauty ends. From the insanely horrid shampoo wash--I think more water ended up on my face and clothes to the laughable blow out it just kept getting worse. I asked for waves and got 1980's curls and when I asked if she would straight iron the ends she told me I could do that myself at home. I went with 4 friends and though we all of picked different styles we all walked out with the same exact hairstyle. It was comical. I’m a massage therapist in for a $145 massage, I expected much more specific detail. He was a good therapist but for 100 minutes I was hoping for a full body treatment- he did not work my pectoralis muscles nor my face and scalp with little attention to my feet and hands which I said hurt the most. I was very confused why he timed it that way. Then my Visa gift cards were not accepted so I had to pay out-of-pocket which I wasn’t expecting to do. Don't go here! I went, for the first time, to Glosshouz, to have my hair styled and highlighted. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the decor and services they offered. The owner, Lani, sent me to a young woman who was supposed to do the highlights and styling. I brought in a picture to show the stylist how I wanted my blonde hair to look when finished. The stylist said it would not be a problem at all to match the picture. Normally, after many years of having this done, the s...tylist will separate the hair into sections and alternate highlights between dark and light blonde. This girl proceeded to dye all the roots dark brown and added the bleach foil highlights afterwards. It appeared as if she forgot at add highlights around the whole front section of my face. Upon leaving the spa, I mentioned to the owner that I was not happy with the way my hair looked with the dark surround. She told me that, if I was not happy by tomorrow, I could come back and they would fix it, no charge. I was hoping that the die she left on my forehead was causing the color problem, but that was not the case. The next day, after washing my hair, I was very unhappy with the results. It looked like I had an inch of dark roots around my face. I called the salon and came back in to have it fixed. The owner said it just looked like I needed a couple strands at the top re-done. I said "no" it looks to me like the entire section that frames my face was missed. The stylist also argued with me and said she doesn't put color next to the scalp. I've had my hair highlighted for over thirty years and I have never been so unhappy with the experience or results. I sat there in the chair wanting to cry and will never go back! I gave this place a shot for one year. As an executive of a start-up, I was super patient with Loni and wanted this place to be the spot I went to for a fresh look and relaxation. Many times I accepted damaged hair, over processed ends and incorrectly toned hair, hoping they would "grow up to be the professional salon I dreamed of. The last 6 times I had my hair done here, each drying session felt like a torture chair as my dried locks revealed nothing that I asked for. This last time I asked for a long blunt "lob" and subtle baby highlights, which is how I always asked for my highlights. Looking at these pictures should explain my frustration, even if I wanted a "choppy" cut, which I hate, it's not 1995, who would be happy with this cut? I went to the front desk and talked to a guy working and he advised me that one of the girls who was cutting my child's hair was doing my spray tan after the cut. I was super bummed at that point, because it became clear that I wouldn't have time to get my spray tan. First world problem - I know! But, annoying - especially when I explained to the scheduler that I wanted all of this done at the same time. So, I asked the guy to cancel the spray tan which he was more than happy to do without even an "I'm so sorry!" or "What can we do to fix this?" Back to the haircuts, we are now an hour and 15 minutes into the kids cuts and the girls had to get help from another hair stylist for the bangs and my son's cowlick which is fine, but when you are charging SEVENTY dollars for a kids cut - I feel that it should be booked with an experienced stylist. When the new lady says (while cutting my 6 year old's hair) "I don't know shit" - referring to the fact that she didn't know why my spray tan got screwed up - I had to say something about their language at that point. It is NOT professional to curse at all at work, especially in front of clients. It is ESPECIALLY tasteless to curse while cutting a 6 year old's hair. I will not be back. The scheduling mistakes, complete lack of caring about the mistake, and then the complete lack of professionalism marks this as a business where I won't spend my money. I came in for a color and cut. I had many requests and high expectations. I came in almost blonde, and wanted a darker, richer, Fall hue. Shelby got it. She is creative and color intuitive. She looked at my hair, asked a lot of questions and showed me many samples, and we came to a game plan. It worked beautifully. I stopped in yesterday and made an appointment to get my hair colored. I told the person whom I made the appoint with, that I would need to be bleached before the color was applied. She quoted a price of 95 plus about 30 more for the bleaching. I made the appointment for 2:30. I immediately received an email that said my appointment was for 2 pm. I arrived at 1:45 just in case and was offfered a drink. Chelsea was very nice. I was sat in a chair and asked what I wanted done and was told it would be 200 plus 3 dollars per foil.  I asked to see a menu and poor Chelsea had to search to find one. Sure enough, 200 for a "double" process. Chelsea was visibly embarrassed and I chose to not get my hair done here. They need to train their receptionist better for pricing. Would not recommend for lip fillers! I recently had an appointment with Danielle , and my lips came out completely uneven. 2 weeks after the treatment, they were still really uneven, so I scheduled a follow up appointment . During the follow up, Danielle gave every excuse as to why they were uneven , except for the obvious one , SHE PUT MORE FILLER ON ONE SIDE . As a solution to my problem , she said we can add more filler which of course is another $500, even though it was their fault. $500 is alot of money to spend, and I expect the job to be correctly the first time , or at the very least fix the problem for free. I recently came here for a blowout before going out of town.My appointment was for 5:00 PM I got there about 10 minutes before and sat down by the front desk and waited to get checked in. The woman working at the front desk was on the phone and didn't acknowledge me until ten after 5 telling me that the person I had my appointment was running late. Finally after another 5 minutes another woman volunteered to get my hair started at least.  Around 5:40 the woman I had my appointment showed up but didn't like how the first woman  started my hair so she re-washed it and started over. Because of these delays and the customer service I didn't get out of there until 6:45 when I had a 5:00 appointment and it was only supposed to take 45 minutes total.I think customer service and scheduling needs to improve before I want to go back. I scheduled a last minute blowout with Julie on a Saturday. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in the door. Julie took me on a tour of the beautiful facility before my blowout. It has a nice modern, all white feel. Before washing my hair, we talked about my desired look. She created the exact look I was hoping and my hair has never looked better. The parking lot was empty.  When I walked in, the lady at the front (found out the owner), acted like I was interrupting her day. I told her I had an appointment and she proceeded to tell me it was at a different time. I offered her the email confirmation that I had received and she still insisted I was wrong.  Great start, right? She left me standing there to go get someone else and then wouldn't look me in the eye when she came back, sending me to following the young lady she'd just brought up. The young lady seemed very new.  She kept asking how to do things. I came in for a 35 minute pedicure.  The pedi stations are not the traditional massage chair type, but more of an uncomfortable low backed chair. Doesn't seem well thought out, because you grease a woman's feet, then ask her to step down from the pedicure platform in flip flops.. Accident waiting to happen.  I understand it's nicer for the person giving the pedi though.  They offer snacks, wine and mimosas which is nice, but I get a free wine with my nails at my regular spot, I don't need to add the $8 drink here. The manicure station is set up like a high top bar, which is nice.  They carry some line of cosmetics I've never heard of, and the sale price is $27 for a mascara.  Mmm, me thinks not. From the outside, it looks great, but neither my friend or me will ever go back.  The 35 minute pedicures were over an hour and a half.  They also were not very professional. Gorgeous facilities fit for a queen! You'll feel like one with champagne or martini in hand as you get pampered upon with a pedi, mani, or variety of other services (lashes, Brazilian blow out, makeup, etc.). I loved the fun ans engaging manicure bar, which allows you to sit near your friends to chat and have fun (versus other salons where when you get a mani you are at a private table far from others-boring!). They also have beautiful restroom facilities that are complete with showers, vanity areas, a relaxation room, etc. The spa service rooms are dimly lit with aromatherapy softly being steamed in the room - simple yet elegant - they look like an amazing place to get a facial or other service. P.S. Big, deep relaxation tubs for after a back scrub treatment look very inviting to me!!I was here for an event and got a mini chair massage, that got all the right spots of my neck and back - relieving a headache I had had for the entire day.Another highlight is the amazing makeup and skincare products they have - it's worth a trip in just to try some of these great products that are offered at very competitive prices.
