I'm not sure why this salon has poor reviews. I go to the same lady - Quinn (not sure if that's how she spells her name). She uses sanitized tools every time (out of the enclosed sanitizing bag). She takes her time, and her massages are amazing. I leave happy every time and I love her service! Read Less

Ok so maybe not a 1 but my friends tell me I'm too nice & I'm starting to believe them. Judge for urself. I was visiting from TX & took a bff since my 4 yr old & I stayed with her & her fam...& cuz I  her! Don't remember the day of the week or anything but I think it was b4 noon on a weekday. So HER chair stops working & I have to wait a few minutes for my guy to start on me (no big deal really). Not only did they never get the chair working, my bff's technician(?) kept gettin up to answer phone (cordless anyone?)...but never offered to move her to another chair either ‍‍‍ The lady next to me wit & few month old baby & 2 yr old in tow was a whole nother story...why??????? It's bad enuf I'M inhaling those fumes...ur poor children. Of course, he eventually was SCREAMING in my ear...for what felt like at least a good 5 minutes. There were other chairs they could've sat her in too. "Bad form, Jack!" We shouldn't have had to pay at all much less full price. Depending on who you get the services can be great. I have had a negative experience twice with one gentleman. He even gave me a ring of fire on my pinky. I will still go in but always request not to have this guy, It can be a little uncomfortable. Read Less

Sad to say, I am not 100% sure their equipment was sterilized and I don't know why I didn't just walk out based upon that alone. My clippers were just taken out of a box, not out of a little bag like at the station next to me. The nail file had dust in it, plus it was an acrylic nail file and I just have natural nails so it chewed down my nails so extremely low. Then while doing the massage on us they were more interested in watching what was on tv rather than paying attention to what they were doing. I am sure they could do the massage with their eyes closed, but it just showed how little they cared. After the polish was on, a little clean up was done on the surrounding skin, but there was still a lot left to clean up when I got home. The decor was ok, just your typical nail salon that is starting to show its age. So disappointed. Read Less

It was a great place, with the new management. The place was clean and the new flooring was nice.The new owners and managers were courteousanyd friendly towards my group and the whole time was very relaxing. I was able to go and get my nails and my friends nails done for a wedding and they turned out better than I even expected. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone . Read Less

I usually only come here when in a time pinch because it's just down the road from my house. Nail quality runs hot and cold but alot of the time service is poor. They have one technician that doesn't speak English well so she just grunts at you. And when you ask for a specific they often get confused, even after showing them a photo. Read Less

Bad service and super long wait time. Not worth the money. Absolutely the worst pedicure and manicure I have EVER had. After the long wait the man who did my pedi and manicure decided it would be funny to try to hurt me, so he was extremely rough. This is getting two stars simply based on the fact that Sammie is a lovely person who, until today, has given me beautiful manicures and pedicures. She is amazing at massaging arms and legs. The last time I went in, a couple of weeks ago, Tom did my acrylic white tips. His attitude was lackluster and he made my acrylics too thick even after I asked for them to be thinner. Today I went in to have the nails removed and a simple manicure after. Sammie was my tech this time. I'm not sure what was wrong, but this time she applied the nail polish unevenly. While she gave a gel topcoat, the color polish was not dry enough beforehand; thus the polish was chipped and cracked within 10 minutes of leaving. About 4 hours later four of the nails' polish smudged so bad that I had to peel them off leaving the sticky pink polish a mess and now I'll be removing all of it and putting on a clear coat. The removal was $10 and that was worth it. The polish and gel topcoat were an extra $15 which was a waste and a letdown. Read Less

I moved to castle rock last summer and live less than a mile from this nail salon. I have gone there a few times. The atmosphere and cleanliness are severely lacking. The first time I got a shellac manicure, and it was pretty good. The last few times I was less than impressed. The man who did my nails was rude and unfriendly. I will not be going back. I'd rather drive to lone tree to the salon I like, than drive a mile to this salon. Read Less

I've tried probably 10 different salons for my pink & whites. I finally found a place I LOVE! The owner did my nails and I will definitely be going back. He actually got them wide how I like and they last forever (minus the grow-out of course!)- he speaks passable English and is very kind.  I wish you could tip on a Credit Card or debit, but prices are reasonable. I absolutely love this nail salon! They do beautiful nails. My nails last for three weeks... They've never lasted for three weeks! The pedicures are fabulous! Just moved to Castle Rock. Every nail place that I checked reviews for had equal negative and positive comments,  so I just picked this one , closest to me. The owner did my nails. He was very nice, gental, took his time, and consistently asked if the shape, color, and length suited me. My nails look lovely. The only thing I'm picky about is the extra acrylic that gets stuck underneath. Could have cleaned it out better but I'm sure if I asked he would have. Not bad! I'll be returning for my refill. I have to say I'm not impressed. Big minus for lack of sanitary procedures! Same gloves worn between customers, tools not sanitized.  The language barrier is very evident and when you say "no" to something they try repeatedly to do it anyway.  Towels and wax are extremely hot. My sister in law and I came here for pedicures. We got the deluxe package which was really nice. The workers don't rush and made it very relaxing. My massage chair wasn't so great. Kind of hurt my back. I noticed most of the massage  chairs were very worn down. But don't let that stop u from going here. The leg and feet massage makes up for it. Will return. Read Less

Unsanitary, staff unable to communicate in English and they refuse to allow tips on a debit card. Nails were not setting right (probably because they dryers were broken), so they didn't say anything but just kept redoing them without a word. I love this place!  So far, I can literally show up and have anyone in the salon do my nails - they do natural looking, NOT THICK (ew), nails.  It's not noisy with loud talking & gossip between the employees like other salons - it's usually quiet outside of quick conversations.  One thing though, they allow walk-ins, so if you have an appt, don't be surprised if they're 10-15 mins late - that would be my only gripe. Of all the nail salons I've tried in Castle Rock, I think Marseille is my favorite.  Their prices can't be beat, and I'm completely satisfied with the service!  My nails look great for up to a week after, and I'm pretty hard on my hands...usually my manicures are looking shredded before that.  The atmosphere isn't super luxe, but I don't need that; I'm more psyched about quality service at a bargain price than carved wood paneling and waterfalls.
