There were no outlets close to my massage chair for the gel light so she asked me to sit in one of the technician chairs while she sat on the floor and my feet sat on her knees. Prices were a little over average for the quality of service. They didn't explain extra charges for taking gel polish off and the guy that did my nails cut way too deep on my two of my cuticles (thumb and pointer finger) . They weren't very friendly either and when my mom and I got pedicures they barely scrubbed my foot with a pumice and they didn't clean her nails. I never do this!! But as soon as a walked in nobody said anything to me I told the lady I wanted a full set she said maybe two words to me the whole time. But that's not in ALL my acrylics came off in a week they were different lengths and she didn't even file the acrylic down.! So they lifted up in a couple days. My service was good and my tech was very nice and helpful. I needed an acrylic full set and did not like any colors they had on display, she then dug up like 10 more shades of pink and swatched them for me on tips so I could see what they looked like on the nail and not just in powder form. When I asked for different shades of pink in other salons people were extremely rude to me, called me too demanding and forced me to make a choice fast or even yelled at me. The tech at Pretty Nails was eager to help and I ended up loving the color. A little sheer, more natural, feminine, but not boring and dull. She also did a quick but competent cuticle work. When I asked for it in other nail salons they still didn't do it and left my hands looking very untidy.The salon itself is nothing to look at and smells of chemicals, nothing fancy. Awful service. We went in for pedicures and about 6 different times they asked us if we wanted manicures even though I had repeatedly told them no, just the pedicures today. It was beyond annoying and disrespectful. The "flower" they painted on my nail was a joke. The pedicure itself was nothing to rave about. Horrible. This place gave me the worst manicure I've ever had, as well as the most expensive one. I just popped in because I really wanted a manicure, quick and basic. I had shellac on my nails at the time but was only planning on getting regular nail polish painted on my nails this time. Typically manicures with just regular polish are like $10 so I figured I was golden. Before beginning I asked if there was a charge to take the shellac off my nails and to have the white nail polish only on my tips, they told me no. So from the start the guy was rude, he was very aggressive taking the shellac off and it hurt and I told him and he never eased up or apologized, then he cut my nails WAAAAAAY short without asking me and even though I had said at the beginning I liked my nails long and did NOT want them to be cut any shorter just filed and shaped. He did one crappy coat of clumpy white nail polish with terrible unevenness on the tips, some were fat and took up almost half my nail and some were so thin it looked like no polish was even on it!! I asked him to please fix them to make them even and to add a second coat. He rolled his eyes and proceeded to ignore the horrible excuse for "French tips" and added another crappy clumpy second coat. I told him I didn't like it at all and that I was not happy with how he ignored my polite requests and ruined my nails. When it came time to pay I almost had a heart attack when she said it was $22. I didn't get any cuticle trimming and the "massage" was a handshake with about a pinprick of lotion for each hand. I was LIVID, apparently they do charge to take off shellac and do "french" manicures even when they tell you they don't. And to top it all off, as soon as I left and got in my car I realized even after 10 minutes under the dryer the paint wasn't dry and the polish was all smeared. Needless to say I wasted my time and money. Had to go home and just take the paint off and paint my nails myself which looked better than the guy did them, and he's supposed to be the trained one. I've always loved this place but today really sucked. I wanted the deluxe pedicure with a design. The girl who did my pedi was clear she didn't know what she was doing. Her design sucked and I made her do it over. Even when it was redone it still sucked. I had to ask 3 times for a top coat. She didn't know English so I had to rely on other workers there and it made me look like a difficult customer which I am not. I will not be back ever again. First time going here and the service was very poor. The pedi water was cold, they didnt speak to us at all during the pedi and when the techs were done they just got up and walked away without saying anything, like *ok your finished* or *did you want a design?* like other nail salons do, did not acknowledge us when we tried to go up and pay either. I will NEVER go back to this place. They told us it would be a few minutes to wait and we had waited probably 45 minutes in the pedi chairs before someone came over. They hurried as fast as they could though the process and it was not a welcoming or fun experience at all. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Read Less

When we first got here they were busy but still filled the pedicure tub for me. The water got a little chilly but once they came to help me they warmed the water up again and I was happy. Third time there...Ann was amazing the first time, after that I did a pedicure and the gal made me uncomfortable because she kept asking me if "I like"'. But she did a good job. Last night I entered at 443pm and left at 643pm for a service that should have trashed about hour. Pink and white gel...with shellac clear coat...she tried to do just pink and I stopped her, I wish I hadn't...I had giant glops of product on and then, when she put the white on, she didn't make a half moon shape, they go straight across and they're really far down. I have beautiful nails and right now they look like fat, stumpy crap. I hate them. If you go, have Ann do them. Otherwise, good luck. Read Less

I've been going to pretty nails for about two years, and I will not change salons again. Ann does a great job, I get complimented on my manicures all the time. The Deluxe Spa Pedicure is the bomb! The salon is always clean and bright, and the staff is very friendly. I recommend pretty nails to people all the time, and I'll do it here. If you are looking for a great salon, with great service, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Read Less

I made an appointment for four (a senior citizen, a child, and two adults) to have both manicures and pedicures done; a special treat to share the experience and chat. We arrived right on time to wait 30 minutes to be seated for our pedicures; two of us had water in the bowls. 15 minutes later when the first two bowls were cold, the other two got filled up. After a solid 45 minute wait, they started on one of us. Long story short, they worked on one of us at a time. We got out 3.5 hours later, thoroughly annoyed with poor quality paint jobs. The french manicures looked like the child had done the work.  The prices were higher than we were used to. Gosh, I thought when you made an appointment for 4, all 4 would be done together. I love this place! I just moved to the area and this was the first nail place I tried and I don't even want to go anywhere else. I've only had Tracy before, but I love her. She's so sweet and friendly and gives great leg massages during your pedicure. The prices seems pretty standard for fair places - $30 for a mani/pedi. More for shellac and gel though, I couldn't say how much bc I never get it. My hands stayed unscathed for over a week.just got around to publishing this.. i've had several of the other technicians and they everyone there is super nice - and not fake nice like a lot of people that work customer service jobs. I wouldn't waist time going there. The girl that was doing my nails cut me twice, didn't show any feelings, it sounded to me they hurt people a lot, normal thing for them.While she was doing my nails, she was also trying to get the UV light fixed, so, she wasn't 100% giving me the care I was expecting.The other lady comes around and see that I was bleeding, didn't say a word.In the end, I paid full price, they charged me full price like nothing had happened.
