I made an appointment for a gel manicure and fill. I also specifically asked for someone who works with acrylics because I like them extremely thin while making my appointment. My manicurist did not seem comfortable with even removing the existing gel I had on my nails. She caught my cuticles multiple times, then I asked her to take a small amount of length off and she couldn't match the existing almond shape I have so now I have one nail smaller and misshapen than the others because I wouldn't let her do my remaining. Then I guess it's ok just to NOT DO THE FILL BECAUSE YOU DONT FEEL LIKE IT! Wtf, I now have now chipped and exposed real nail vs acrylic and will have to get them redone when i return to LA on Christmas Eve. AND still got charged $30 for the polish change. The best pedicure of my life!! Cleanest place in town and quite possibly the nicest.  Worth every penny and completely reasonably priced. I sprung for the deluxe organic spa pedi with wax dip and my feet feel like new born baby feet.  seriously!!They also massage your shoulders while your nails dry and give a killer foot rub during the pedi. I called and a mani/ pedi was to be $55.00. Once there ,I asked for a gel manicure which I expected to cost  more. It ended up being $45.00 What????!!!! Normally a gel is 25 to 35$.  It took a while to get both the mani pedi and I had to run to another appointment so I didn't get any polish on my toenails.  The owner charged me $95.00 for a gel and a no polish manicure. I thought I'd get a price break because they didn't put on the two coats of polish plus a top coat on the pedicure.......Guess not.  The ladies were talkative and nice but I will NEVER go back because it was overpriced and my gel manicure is only so so. Best pedi and mani I have ever received. I don't recall the young females name who I received from, but she was such a sweet soul. My polish on my toes and hands still looks like just like I left there and it's been over a week. It was such a nurturing and nourishing experience they made me feel quite special. Inexpensive mani/pedi. I was in town on business in LA. I wanted to wait out the traffic (if at all possible in LA) so decided to go for a mani/pedi nearby my last appointment. The salon has two pedicure chairs. They take walk ins and appointments. My expectations were low and the service met my expectations. My pedicure was done using a foot soak bucket (a first for me). My feet kept slipping off the portable pedicure chair the technician was sitting on. It was not relaxing. $25 including tip. You get what you pay for. Read Less

Purissima pedicure is a spa level experience with attentive staff. Polish lasted 3 weeks. Gel manicure while I relaxed in the massage chair, lasted over 2 weeks. Hospitality & clean work areas. Alright, Let's preface this with the fact that I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I don't understand why places like this stay in business. Used nail files not sanitized, barely clean equipment just gross me out. I have to close my eyes and get my nails done and hope I don't get an infection. Now that that's out of the way, the girls did a good job. I got a pedicure and gel polish change. I'm super picky and I do like the way my nails look after they're all done and I don't have a disease :) the girls are also really nice! EDIT. When she was taking off my previous gel polish she was scraping really hard. I asked her nicely to please not break my nail. I really wanted to like this place, they were very nice but...I went in for a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. They were very rushed, did not clean under my nails or even put lotion on hands on legs like they normally do. Great place and right downtown.  The price reflects the location as a regular pedicure is $40.  Most places "around" Boulder are in the $25 range.  They take good care of you and the baths are super clean as they use liners in each one.  The $40 also includes a quick hot stone "massage" which was wonderful. Very nice ladies. Yes, slight language barrier but they do understand English. They don't state their prices online, but I paid $55 for I think a standard manicure & pedicure. $10 extra for a callus remover, but totally worth it. My heels are like a baby's bottom now. Great gel manicure by James! The salon wasn't as fancy as I'm used to but it is very clean and relaxing which is all that really matters. I was referred to this nail salon by the St Julian spa because they were too booked to take me. I'm extremely picky about my nails and I told them that when I walked in, the manicurist (James) they gave me did my nails exactly how I like them. Worst experience ever! I am in the industry so I felt I should write a review.  I had the receptionist pull the manicurists off my pedi and go do someone else. Then take over on me in the middle of my pedi. She was getting up constantly to run the desk and delegate other customers. Then tried to re cut my nails & cuticles after they had already been cut. She kept getting up and coming back and would forget where she left off. I have know idea how sanitary the instruments were since she kept getting up and only wore one glove, picking up instruments... Kept taking in walk ins, while others were patiently waiting forever to be served.  However, my friend had a massage that was incredible! Read Less

Came here for a pedi while visiting from out of town. They only offer an option that comes with a not very good massage and hot stones, etc for $40. I would've preferred a longer soak than I received. Not worth the high price tag. Watch out, they charge $5 extra for certain polishes and there is no signage to warn you. Read Less

My friend and I were visiting after running a half marathon. We decided we needed a pedicure to spoil ourselves. Thank goodness we upgraded to the luxury pedicure. Quick, easy, relaxing and good quality pedicure. The staff was very friendly. They use OPI nail polish mainly and lots of color options! Stopped here for pedicure while visiting Boulder. Salon was clean, and they even use plastic liners in the foot soak. The pedicure was mediocre, however the polish lasted 4 weeks. I just cleaned them off and it was only to nail growth, not chipping or polis flaking. That is impressive especially since u brought in my own nail polish, Spa Ritual, so not a brand that is like super glue. Read Less

Thank you Yelp, for pointing us in the direction of this nice salon while out and about in Boulder after getting totally denied what would have been a much more expensive mani/padi we'd tried to book at a nearby hotel.  After a most wonderful lunch at the teahouse, we walked over to La Belle for an hour of two respite from the 95+ temps outside.  They fit us in, no problem, and took great care.  It was my mother's first pedi of her life (seriously?!  did I fail as a daughter?!), she wasn't quite sure what  to expect and was pleasantly surprised.  The hot stone massage part was the best!Both nail technicians took great care of us, were super friendly, and above-and-beyond welcoming.  We could have stayed there for hours, but the mean streets of Boulder were callin'...  Recommend to anyone in the area for a reasonably-priced, friendly, down-to-earth spot for nail services that is considerably cheaper yet much more welcoming than the other salons nearby.  It's not super fancy, but it's cozy.
