I went here for a pedicure with a friend, who really liked it. The price is really good, but they took photos of our feet for thier website without asking. They also used a nail dryer placed precariously above the tub (still half filled with water) instead of having us move to different chairs (we were the only two customers). Quick little find up the street from work, there was no wait. My technician Henry was so detailed, gentle and not rushed. I love my nails. Had a wonderful experience at Eagle! Came with two friends and were seated right away and received careful and excellent service for all of our pedicures. Great location off the downtown area, too! Every member of the staff is friendly, we were given complimentary waters and hot rock massages and great lotion. I went there yesterday for the first time. The place is super clean. The staff is nice. My pedicure was GREAT! It was the best I have had in years. The guy that did it was very detailed. Eagle Nail is the best! Doesn't smell like acetone and they have tons of colors! My gel manicure lasts for weeks whenever I go to Eagle Nail. One of my nails had ripped halfway across way too low on the nail bed. When I got my last manicure, it had just grown out, but my nail bed is still tender and my nail is very short. Love this place! Under new ownership and they've definitely updated the place :) they have music now and new nail tables and a ton of nail colors! I loved the old owners, and they'll be missed! Lots of colors to choose from, everyone was so friendly, and the delux pedicure was exactly what I needed for some mama rejuvenation time (hot wax, hot stones, extensive massage -everything you could want from a pedi appointment!). Was able to make a day of appointment for gel manicure and normal pedicure for me and a friend on a Sunday. Nails turned out so well but they did seem to be short staffed for as many clients as they were taking. My friend and I basically had to trade off on our manicures. I was in town for the weekend and found this place on Yelp. The prices seemed right and the reviews were great. I called in and had no problem getting in  about 30 minutes later on a Sunday midday. It was very spacious and not very busy. My technician was super sweet and took her time, which I loved. I had dipped powder nails on and they knew exactly how to take it off without damaging my nails. They also have lots of color options. She was very thorough and did multiple shellac coats - which always sets nail salons apart for me. I asked for the shape to be identical to what I had before and she did a perfect job. My cuticles look great and I loved the massage portion at the end. Definitely well priced for the area too - it's not super super centrally located which is prob why they don't charge as much but it's still in an area with a ton around it and not far from downtown. Shady! I am sure that I was the only guy to drop my daughter off at the bride's wedding day to have her hair done with 10 others, paid cash to the girl in charge only to find out later they changed the bride again. So the $40.00 due along with a generous 20 dollar tip plus another$40. Was a $100. Due for a 7 year old ! Multiple times 3 different parties have failed to even be acknowledged! Read Less

Love this place! Such a reasonable price and they go above and beyond to make sure you're relaxed! I've been in twice now for a pedicure and the polish has lasted without chipping at least 4 and a half weeks. They take their time and do a good job no matter how busy they are! Eagle nails recently got a new owner and completely remodeled! Their establishment is clean, welcoming, and the employees are very friendly and easy to have a great conversation with. When I called to get in for a gel manicure they were able to take me immediately, very convenient. I walked in and was greeted very kindly by Linda and Lyly. Lyly did my nails and did a fabulous job! The shape of my nails was exactly what I asked for, I got a wonderful back massage, hand massage with warm lavender lotion, and a hot towel at the end! I loved working with Loretta, Ingrid & Tamber at The Color Bar! A bunch of us got our nails, hair & makeup done for my wedding last weekend. We pretty much took over the salon for huge portions of three days and they were so welcoming. They let us make ourselves at home which meant the world. Not even sure how they are in business. Just spent 40 minutes with flies crawling on me.  A man started my gel manicure by getting polish everywhere but the nail. He gave up after he realized it was awful and had the woman in the shop try to fix it.  Hands down the worst gel manicure I've ever had. I've gone here a few times and will not go back. The reason I won't go back is because the second time, I got a pedicure that lasted about 4 days before it started coming off. They thinned the nail polish I chose and it had probably been thinned many times before. They put a topcoat on my toes to seal in the polish but it can't have been very good quality. I discovered Dover Color Bar through Groupon and on a whim I made an appointment for a shampoo, cut and style with Ingrid. Right away she made me feel comfortable and the atmosphere was professional, modern, and relaxing. Ingrid was very knowledgeable and friendly and knew how to handle my fine, naturally curly (and graying) hair. I just wanted a very small trim, and there was no pressure for anything other than what I asked for. I went in for a cut with Loretta this past week. What a great atmosphere! The decor is fun and modern, Loretta far surpassed my expectations of a visit to the salon! She was super informative about everything she was doing and answered any question we asked! I am scared to death to have my hair cut and generally only do it once a year. No one can ever get it right! I instantly felt comfortable and we were on the same page about what route we were going to take as far as the cut. I got everything I asked for and then some! This place isn't fancy - but if you ask Kim to do your pedicure - you won't be sorry. I'm used to California pricing when it comes to getting my nails done - and this is the only place I've found that hasn't cost a fortune. It's not fancy on the inside - but your paying for the pedicure not the interior design. Totally worth the trip!
