I walked in and they said that I didn’t have an appointment made and not only that, one of the workers was rude and proceeded to talk about us to the other coworkers. I needed some good self-care today. Decided a simple manicure would fit the bill. Lush Nail Spa had just opened for the day, according to Yelp. I walked in to find my favorite manicurist ever, one I'd lost touch with about 5 years ago, Lee!!!! There she was, kind, talented, beautiful as ever. Been here a few times. The first time my experience was terrible, next time I asked for a different person. My nails looked beautiful. After coming a few times the work started to get sloppy. If you feel a nail is crooked etc. they get very upset & talk about you in their language. I got a full set of acrylics this time & the top coat isn't covering the whole nail, & my left hand is much shorter than the right hand. Prices are great, service is pretty good. I have has many gel manicures here and they last a long time. I trued SNS but I don't think the girl knew what she was doing, I wanted glitter on a couple fingers and it wasn't filed down, so it was bumpy. Polish changes without manicure are really reasonable. Ive been to this place a handful of times before and only once actually liked my nails but I just needed one nail fix and a color change, I figured the place would work for now.... let me start with I left an hour ago and I have an appointment tomorrow morning at a different salon.I feel like if you're not getting T or Chris you might as well not go here... I called to inquire if they were busy to see if I was able to do a walk in.  They said I would be able to come in and I was quoted $60 for a shellac mani & shellac pedi.  I arrived around 6:10pm and they close at 7pm.  I was greeted pleasantly and I informed them I just called regarding the shellac mani and shellac pedi.  I was seated in a massage pedicure chair and a man and woman helped me (they did not tell me their name and I forgot to ask).    I previously had my nails done in San Francisco and the shellac polish was thicker than normal.  Both the man and the woman helping me took their time to make sure everything was removed.  I asked for a French tip for my manicure and just a solid color for my toes.  While my nails were being done I was getting a massage in the massage chair and watching jeopardy.  They do have two big screens with shows on.  I felt the prices were reasonable just note it is additional for upgrades.  I paid an additional $5 for my French tips.  They do have a sign that gives cash paying customers 5% off which is awesome. Went to get a full set today and my first thought was the place looks really nice inside! The prices were also a plus! As I was getting my nails done I noticed people walking in for walk ins and the owner was turning them away because they didn't have time which I really liked! Instead of rushing, doing a bad job and keeping people waiting they simply turned them down. The girl who did my nails was named Lee and she was super nice! After the horrible experience I had tonight at another shop,I am so convinced that Lush is the best there is and I am NEVER going anywhere else. They are kind, fun, professional and super talented no matter who I get. It is always a treat to come. They accommodate my whole group of sisters and nieces like it's the easiest thing in the world. And my favorite thing about this shop??? If they are too busy to do a quality job, they aren't so greedy that are afraid to ask you to come at another time. This is by far one of, if not, the best nail salons in the Aurora area. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering how high the quality is. All of the nail techs are very friendly and helpful. This is my regular pedicure place. They do a great job! Everything is very clean and my toes always look and feel great after. They have a large selection of polish and gel polish. I usually get gel and it always lasts about 6 weeks! They are very busy because they're good so not great if you want to walk-in. I recommend getting an appointment a day or two ahead. I am new to Colorado and was not looking forward to having to find a new nail salon.  Based on the Yelp reviews I decided to check out Lush.  I stopped by this past Monday to see the salon and make an appointment.  I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door-I met "T", told him what I wanted and he proceeded to make an appointment for me.  They don't open until 10:00, but he said he would come in early for me and set my appointment for this past Wednesday @ 9:00 am!  I showed up on Wednesday-T was running a little late BUT he showed up.  I reminded him of what exactly I wanted and he got to work-he is awesome!  He pays close attention to detail and my nails look awesome!!  I also got the $30 pedicure and again I was not disappointed-I'm sorry I don't know how to spell the lady's name that took care of my feet, but she too did exactly what I asked and paid close attention to detail!  I was totally relaxed and felt good when I left there.  So you're probably asking yourself why I only gave 4 's, I want/need to see how well my nails & pedicure hold up over the next 2-3 weeks.  I will DEFINITELY be going back to Lush and will add that 5th  if all goes well!  Keep in mind-they are closed on Tuesday's!! I should've given this place 5 stars, but I'm going to wait and see how the nails hold up for 2 weeks before I do! Overall, I had a great experience with lush. I called earlier in the day to set an appt that afternoon and boy was I glad I did. This place gets busy! I would not advise doing a walk-in unless you call ahead to make sure it's okay to do so or else you'll be told that the wait is 2 hours! (Seriously, no joke. But worth the wait). The phone was ringing off the hook because people were trying to come in on a Wednesday evening. Now about the salon itself..seemed pretty clean! I liked the set up. Just had the best gel manicure at this location with Chloe! She was so pleasant and receptive to what I wanted regarding the specific shape and length of my nails. I have been to this nail salon 4 times already and have had great experiences. My nails always look fabulous and the people that work their are nice. I had T as my nail technician, he did a great job, clean and detailed work. Will be returning for nail services and I highly recommend this nail salon. Very clean space which is important for many of us. It would be nice if they could let you know prices of the designs or an estimate of how much you will pay, but it's not a huge concern for me. I made an appointment to get a gel manicure and gel pedicure. I always show up 10-15 minutes before an appointments. There hours are open at 10am. I come around 10am and the store is closed, lights off. I wait till around 10:20am, no one still there. When they finally show up at 10:45am they didn't even apologize for being late. I asked if they do chrome nail, and they said yes. I showed pictures how I wanted it to be silver. When it came to applying the "chrome powder" it wa...s just very tiny mica reflects not chrome what so ever. I have gotten chrome before and it should magically change from powder to the shiny reflective tin foil look. She also did an absolutely horrible job applying it near my cuticle. Once the gel dried it starts to peel back because of all the layers. Do not believe them, also she kept changing her mind with prices for the chrome add on. First she said $5 for 2 fingers. Very disappointed my polished started lifting off my gel nails after three days... and they tried to blame it on the weather ! Went in to get some fixed that were lifting and the woman scolded me telling me I should have called them right away... they're closed on Sundays so why would I call??? I enjoy this place. It's clean and there are many girls working so it is easy to be a walk-in. Even on a day that they were busy and couldn't get me in that day, they scheduled something with me the very next day. Sandy did a wonderful job on my nails. I don't get manicures often so there was a lot of cuticle work to be done, but she was extremely attentive and worked tediously to clean them up. I rarely get my nails done because I can do pretty cool designs by myself. However I had a wedding coming up and I wanted to pamper myself by getting shellac. It was easy to get an appointment on the day of for both me and my boyfriend.The store itself is very clean and chic. The workers don't really speak English which is kinda hard to express what I wanted but Kim who was helping me understood. I opted for a champagne design with gold glitter accents to go with my bridesmaid dress. The color we picked first was way too light with even 3 coats so she helped me pick out a nice pink ish color it was beautiful. However, my only complain about this place is, they told me one price on the phone and charged me a different price in person. After my nail paint was done, she put this paraffin wax on my hand but didn't tell me it wasn't included in the cost of the mani. That was a bit weird. I absolutely love this place; the atmosphere is clean & beautifully decorated and you can't go wrong with any of the nail techs although "T" and Chris are my absolute favorite--they do an amazing job and keep the conversation light & fun. I know most people find nail salons relaxing but honestly while I'm getting my nails done I think about all the other productive things I could be doing with my life, so I especially appreciate that the nail techs at Lush do a quick but yet an amazing job. He removed the old thick gel job that was a bad job ,and replaced it with a beautiful set of tapered nails I love. I had no wait time. He was careful not to burn me with the drill . We had the worst experience! We had an appointment and left after waiting for 25 min when we realized that it was going to be at least another 25 min before they got to us. I went to get acrylics ($20) for my ridiculously thin and short nails today. T, the man, did them. I was honestly expecting him not to be great at it, but he was flawless. A million times more gentle than any woman I'd ever been to. He also had suggestions about what design to get off I wanted one, since I have child size hands. But he still did everything he could to keep the idea of what I originally suggested intact. Creative while still professional is hard to manage, but he pulled it off amazingly. Also, the conversation was great! I was nervous about it, but all of their English really is perfect, and they talk about both simple and heavy things, if you want. My nails look amazing, they don't hurt for once, the prices are way more than fair, the service was phenomenal, and I can't wait to go back. This place really does look like a dump from the outside, but when you walk in, it honestly looks like the million dollar salon my uncle runs.
