My personal experience was great. But my sister went and asked the guy for coffin style acrylic nails and they completely didn't listen and finished them out as short and square. I asked the manager to help and have someone fix it. My sister then went and had a lady try to fix them but instead just cut the short nails into a half-hearted coffin. In the process, this lady cut her real nails down to the skin and made the skin raw. Read Less

I went here for the first time for a deluxe pedicure with my son. Massage chairs are great, staff is really nice and the prices are much better compared to other places. We didn't get a water or beverage which most places offer but I'd rather pay 20$ less for same pedicure and skip the beverage. I will be back. Great place. Read Less

My sisters and I went to Padela today for deluxe pedicures. My two sisters sat down first and had someone assist them immediately to start their pedicures. I sat down two minutes after them after choosing my color. I did not mind waiting. I waited while soaking my feet for 8-10 minutes before someone came to start my pedicure. During those 8-10 minutes, two people came by to say "Thank you for waiting, we will be right with you." After the lady began my pedicure, it turned into a "catch-up" game to finish at the same time as my sisters. She rushed and made up 10 minutes of my waiting time, skimped out on a full massage and pedicure that my sisters received, just to make sure we finished at the same time. I would have preferred to receive a quality and thorough "deluxe" pedicure instead of rushed service. I should have shared this with her. So, for those reading this review, when going as a group and not served at the same time, it would benefit you to vocalize to your pedicurist "Please do not rush, my friends can wait". I should have received the same quality and amount of time given for my deluxe pedicure as my sisters received. Read Less

Their is no consistency. A few are very good and the others not good at all.  If you tell the owner STEVE he seems to not care.  I have been here several times. Only a couple times was this place any good. Since I complained to the owner he has been dismissive when I come in. He walks around talking to the ladies acting like he cares but I can tell he doesn't really care by his attitude, he just wants business and he seems to do ok. But, are the ladies really liking the service or the price and dealing with a low end service.My pedicure was really fast and took 10 min nails about the same. I went In for a shellac change of polish and pedicure. While I was having my old shellac taken off the entire time the lady doing my nails tried to up sell me and try dip powder. I said no several times but she wouldn't let it go. Even though I asked for just a polish change she brought out the bowl of water to do a full manicure. I asked her to trip my nails and she ended up cutting them so short that it is painful. When my manicure was done the skin of my finger tip was over my nail. She told Told me she would put a top coat on my toes after they dried. I had to remind her to please put a top coat on my toes before I left. I have come a handful of times before and they are always trying to upsell you something. I don't think I will be back after the disappointment if this time. Read Less

I'm a little disappointed on how my friend and I were treated a few days ago when we went. I've been coming here for years and I think my mistake was to always go in and get a different nail technician. I believe that other customers who go into the same tech get treated better. The last time I went, will be my last time. My friend and I both got a refill and shellac but for whatever reason my friends nails cost $15 dollars more than mine. When I asked why all they said was because hers were longer, they were less then 2 cm longer than mine, BUT 15 DOLLARS MORE was EXCESSIVE. We recently moved to the Arvada area and one of the first things I did was try to find a new nail salon.  After an unsuccessful attempt elsewhere, I came in to Padilla Nail Salon.  They're very accommodating, have great nail techs, and lots of color options.  My nails have come out looking great and have lasted long.  Would recommend! I really tired to do some research and this place had the best reviews for what was closest to me, and I left very disappointed. I do get that because I am a licensed nail technician that I have higher standards than most. But when the most basic sanitary standards are missed, I have an issue. I would have given one star but my nails ended up looking better than I was expecting.I got a basic pedicure and a gel manicure. One of my BIG issues is when a place uses CHEESE GRATERS on peoples feet to get the calluses off. I get that this is a fast way, but you aren't supposed to CUT off people's calluses. You are supposed to SLUFF them off with a PUMICE STONE. The rest of the pedicure was just meh, the polish looks decent and the massage was so-so. The manicure is where I ran into more issues. I had watched my technician finish with another client and then immediately take me next. No sanitizing the manicure station in between. That's a big no no. You are also supposed to use a large towel that covers the work area entirely, like a dish towel. She was using a small face towel. The towel is there for comfort and for sanitary reasons. While she was clipping my cuticle, she nipped my pinky and immediately used NAIL GLUE on my cut. This is so unsanitary that I almost walked out. When she was done with the nipper, she just wiped it off with the face towel and put it back in he drawer- not sanitized. She did as I asked and the manicure looks pretty good. I do have a fair amount of gel on my skin, but that will come off. Her massage was barely anything and was MAYBE one minute on each hand. I felt like I was rushed in and out and that they didn't care. I most definitely won't be going back or recommending this place to anyone.UPDATE:My manicure has started to come off, the glitter nails both started to lift on Monday, two days after they were done. I'm changing my star rating to one star because I had originally liked my results, and now they aren't even staying on. Read Less

Padela is the only place I go for my mani and pedi's.  I've come here over two years and love all the staff.  Everyone is skilled...no one is a bad choice.  The shop is clean and they practice and succeed in professionalism.I always ask for Nina!  She is incredible.  I do not wear false nails.  So, she maintains my natural nails.  My hands and feet look lovely!  I also always get a French manicure.  She paints a lovely matching design on my ring finger as well as my big toe.  Very beautiful and always classy.  I am truly blessed to have found Nina and Padela's!  I am pampered and cared for like a queen.  Thankfully ~ Your Royal Heighness! So bummed. I thought this place was so great but they lack consistency. One time you go in & it's great next time you go in & walk out with your nails looking like garbage. I went in last night & this is probably the worst my nails have ever looked. The lady who did my nails said she has been doing nails for 20 years well for a veteran nail tech I was greatly disappointed. They look awful! Super thick, uneven, lumpy, bumpy & will probably need to fill in a week cause it's not close to the cuticle at all. I'll say it again worst set of nails I've ever had. Read Less

The best thing I can honestly say about his place is "meh". The lady working on my nails was rushing and ended up cutting me twice. Their prices seemed pretty good, but it seems to me you get what you pay for. Friendly, yes. Timely? Most of the time... I opted for Shellac, was happy for a few months. The removal process isn't supposed to include the GRINDER - but this is what is used after cotton, acetone and foil. I went from thin nails in the beginning to TISSUE PAPER THIN nails due to a single step in the removal process - THE GRINDER. Bad bad bad. My nails fanned up and out, lifting away from the finger!! Steve the manager is very nice and every time I go in he remembers my name and my mother's name and my little girl is always very well taken care of there. All of the staff loves my little girl and they always, always get my nails and toes right and I have never had a problem with the staff and I have never had a problem with my nails. Worst manicure ever. Yesterday at 1pm I got a regular manicure and today at 11:45 am I have 7 out of 10 that are severely chipped and look like total crap. Less than 24 hours!!! And now that I think back there was no sterilization of any of the nail supplies. While I was having my nails dried I looked at their stations and all they had was a small lucite box with the trimmers and clippers. I usually go to bloomie nails across the street but yesterday I tried something different. What a waste of my $20. I know that I risk chipping by doing regular polish vs shellac but I meticulously brush top coat ever few days to help this from happening and can get a good week out of my manicure. And WTF is about this placing having signs all over the place about paying in cash? You know that's so they don't have to claim income. Read Less

This place always seems to have availability and can get you in and out fast. It is always packed and smells really strong of nail polish and chemicals (which I don't normally care about except that I'm pregnant). Their deluxe pedi with the paraffin and hot stones was definitely worth it but I'd say the nail tech skills in general can vary (I preferred my first mani to my second as my nails weren't shaped evenly and were almost painfully filed the second time). Overall for the price and convenience I feel it is worthwhile place for quick nails. Read Less

Normally I'd give this place 4 stars, been coming for over a year now and it's been very consistent. However today was a different story. A gentleman I hadn't seen before was in charge of my gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. Everyone can have an "off day" and I think that's maybe what I ran into here. I asked for the gel manicure however at the end of my service I realized I didn't receive a full cuticle trim or the hand/forearm lotion massage. This was a first for me. And because it took awhile to get my polish done (he had to redo my thumbnail 3 times), I didn't want to ask the manicurist to go back and do these parts of the service that are usually standard. When I went to pay, I asked if I could pay the price for just a gel polish change instead of the full "manicure." The manager of the salon (Steve, I think?) told me that either I pay full price or he fires the gentleman who did my nails. Uhh... what?? The guy didn't do anything that would warrant being fired, seriously those were the ONLY options in this scenario? It put me in an incredibly awkward position. The gentleman who worked on me was perfectly polite and pleasant, so because I said I didn't feel like I got much more than a polish change the manager was going to FIRE HIM?? Good lord, I don't want the guy to lose his job because I had some hangnails and dry knuckles!It made me decide that I don't think I'd like to return. There are far too many nail salons out there to patronize an establishment who's manager would threaten to fire their employee LOUDLY in a busy salon in front of all the employees and customers. I'll go to the spot another woman with pretty nails recommended to me, Aloha Nails in Lafayette. It's too bad, too, Padela has a great selection of gel polish colors. I walked in here super excited for my FIRST EVER PEDICURE.  I opted for the deluxe and I will say the massage and treatments were lovely - hence the two stars.However, after all is said and done, my nails are filed crookedly (I was excited for my nails to actually have a shape, but they are jagged and sharp) and worst of all, THREE of my toes ended up with infections - one that lasted days and ended with a trip to the doctor for antibiotics! When in yesterday with my 9 month old son after moving into town and as soon as we walked in we were greeted and helped. They were kind of busy so I was happy to see prompt service. The man was very helpful and took the time to help me find exactly what I was looking for. He helped me pick the right set of nails for the look i was going for, that would fit the design I wanted, the over all health of my nails, and the long term care and cost. They were very gentle and let me tend to my son when needed. A few women also help sooth him when I couldn't. They were very kind and made sure u got what you paid for. Absolutely love this place! I came in here last week for the first time because I saw a lot of good reviews and upon arriving all staffs were friendly in greeting my boyfriend and I, especially the owner (Steve). I was immediately assisted with a nail technician by the name of Christy. She was very quiet but it was probably because she wanted to focus on perfecting my nails. From shaping to design it was all handled with grace. Let me just say, I rarely get my nails done and when I do I always go all out with design and colors and Christy was able to give me what I asked for! I spent about 4 hours there getting a full set and pedicure and it is one of the best experience yet. Definitely will be back! Read Less

I love getting my nails done here! Most the girls are super nice and accommodating. It's pretty close to my house so it's a no brainer !I usually see "Helena" but she has been sick a few times so I saw "Olivia"Olivia gave me the best pedicure ever! I'll be going to her for tootsies !
