I stopped in today to do something nice for myself (which I rarely do) and I'm so happy! I am not sure who "the owner" is in these other reviews but the service I got was wonderful for the price.  The place was like any other run of the mill "quicky nail" shop as far as the standard massage chair and basic products.  This is not a high end spa day place but the work was great and the sweet woman who did my pedi and mani was great for conversation and was able to recognize when I wanted to just sit silently and let me.  I believe the woman's name we Asah (unsure of spelling though). I enjoyed my pedi and conversation so much that I signed on for a mani too...I ended up hanging around for almost 2 hours by the end! Read Less

Look at the photos. For $15 and 5 stars on Yelp, I expected more -- A LOT MORE.I walked in last Saturday around noon, for a place that has multiple stations for mani-pedis and regular manis, there was only one person there. That was totally fine until she had her daughter (~10 yrs old?) take the polish off my nails. At first, it wasn't an issue, she was still with another customer.Then she came to the station and started "cleaning" my nails. Everything was done very fast, the "care" and "took her time" did not apply to me at all! She did a shoddy job at massaging my hands and by the time she started painting my nails, she'd scrape the sides of my nails with her finger nail to take off the excess polish that got on my skin. 1) It hurt and 2) she kept doing it. As you can see from the photos, polish everywhere, she didn't even clean it thoroughly, and my skin was very dry afterward.She gave the nails some time to dry off and I thought she was going to come back and clean the remaining polish on my skin, that was very visible, but she moved me to the drying station and that was the end of that apparently and she went on to her next customer and completely neglected my nails. I almost didn't want to pay the lady but didn't want to start a scene in front of her daughter.I would NOT recommend this place unless you want your nails done like mine for $15.OH, and today is Monday, 2 days after I went in and my nails are already chipped. This place is a rip off. I paid $25.50 for a gel manicure. Normally I never pay more than $15-$20. There was an air bubble on my ring finger nail. And when they had me soak my nails there was a bug in my water! Definitely not worth $25. Would not recommend. Read Less

I rate less then one. Absolutely terrible. The woman there was very nice but did a very bad job. When I asked for a refund she refused and said that she could fix my nails for me. Not only did I pay for my nails but my sisters. Both sets where so bad. We paid $70 to for crappy nails and the woman won't even refund my money! Read Less

My girlfriend loves coming here and everytime she does guess who comes with? Yup, I do! The owner is a very nice lady and always does such a wonderful job on her nails. Nice spot, pretty new. Hasn't even been open for a year yet. The owner usually works alone so don't expect to be in and out if there's a lot of people in here. Read Less

Do NOT go here! I popped in for a quick fill after calling two salons in the same lot. Star Nails was a few dollars less so I decided to go there. Once inside, the nail tech (and owner) changed the price. I let her know that I had just called and she agreed on the price she'd given over the phone. During my service, she took clippers from a box labeled "soiled"- when I asked for clean, she claimed it didn't matter since she was working on artificial nails (that are attached to REAL HANDS!) I told her we could continue when she had clean tools. She stepped in back for a moment and returned; I seriously doubt she did anything but walk behind a curtain. During my fill she burned me with the drummel and when I said, "OW" and pulled my hand away she told me to hold still. My polish did not cover the entire nail and my nails were left sharp. When I asked that she fix this, she made a teenager-like huffy sound and quickly touched them up. When she ran my debit card, she charged the higher amount. Obviously, I did not tip but instead wrote this review to warn fellow nail salon peeps about the nastiness of this little place that, apparently, just opened. I suspect they won't be in business long. I will be calling State Board to report the unsanitary conditions as well. Happy Holidays from a happy girl with bad nails. Read Less

This place did the most amazing job.. I can't believe I am the first yelp.. The owner took her time and made my hands look better than they ever have. I only paid 35!! For my white tip. I have like no nails and she made a nail bed and everything. I will come again for sure. I don't think I'll be able to go anywhere else. Trust me they do a really good job everyone that works there.
