I've been coming here for awhile now and I can honestly say that the owner, always have my nails looking great. Out of all the places that I have gone to he's the only one that understands me when I say that I want the acrylic to look as natural as possible. There has been two other people that have done my nails here, however they made my nails look really thick and uneven. When it comes to the pedicures I have to go somewhere else. The lady with the bob haircut has done my pedicures that last couple of times and my toes look horrible. Since I had gel nail polish instead of letting the gel soak off, she took an electric file to toes. So now the nails are all bumpy, honestly more bumpy than Main street. The scrub and massage is mediocre at best. I really like the younger girl who did my pedicure awhile back. She took the time to scrub and make sure that my feet were soft and when it came to the massage she kept asking if the pressure was ok, and adjusted as needed.On this last visit I was kept waiting for over 20 minutes. Even though there was only one client  besides me in the store. I was quickly sat down, however the owner was in the back smoking and trying to fix the wax warmer. I don't think that I would have minded so much if another worker had taken the old color off while the owner fixed the wax warmer. Read Less

This place is okay. They don't do nail designs, I've been there twice. Told no both times for the "designs" that I wanted. They also don't do decorative jewlery. They have a small selection of gel colors. Even tho I felt the my nails weren't completely painted, I over looked it because the lady was very nice. The ambiance and the ladies are great. You get a sugar scrub of your choosing for pedicure. They have lots of sugar scrubs to choose from. The massage chair I was in gave a very nice massage. Read Less

Some of the ladies are pretty friendly and will talk to you....the main guy who owns the shop is a little smart ass, but in a funny way.  He always makes me laugh.  There a young kid, he does an amazing job doing my gel manicure.  No bubbles in the gel, he makes sure to get the edges of my nails all the time.  I've been to so many other places, buy this one has been the best.  I also had a pedicure done here too.  They put the gel on my nails and I loved it.  I've also been to other nail salons, and they had to take the gel off my toes with those spinning filers, they always cut the edges of my skin, this place never does that.  As long as I'm in the area, this is the place I'll always go Read Less

I have lived in Woodland for 17 years and I have pretty much experienced almost, I want to say 80% of the nail salons in town and was not very satisfied. My best friend and I decided to give this place a try after she read all the great reviews. We were incredibly happy with how kind the staff was. Pedicures and manicures were very hygienic. Julie is my go to for the last year. I always call ahead and schedule an appointment but usually they can fit me in within 30 minutes to an hour which is great. You get to choose your own scrub for your pedicure so many great options. They have definitely had changes in management and improvements have been made with in the one year.  Definitely great customer service. Read Less

This used to be my favorite spot, would make an apt with Julie because she would do a good job, and time again she would make me wait 10-15 min, she would say sorry I would say that's ok, but a week ago I made an appointment with her for 10:30 am because that's the time the owner told me she would have time, I went it a couple of minutes before, I see she's helping someone else when I asked how long I would have to wait AGAIN she said 15 min and said that I came in late and that was her only response, so I just left and will not be going there anymore. What's the point of making appointments if they cannot keep them. Very disappointing. Read Less

I went to American Nails after going to Angel nails a few weeks before to get a full set. I got a Princess Gel Pedicure which was $40 & included calus treatment, sugar scrub, mud mask, hot stone massage, foot massage, and parafin treatment. Cindy spent a good amount of time making sure my nails looked perfect! I am so pleased! John did a fill & color change and it was AMAZING. My full set from Angel nails looked terrible and was chipping off on the sides. He evened everything out and made them look great. The atmosphere & staff were awesome. John & Julie are really funny and friendly. Making jokes and talking with the whole salon. It's very clean & the pedicure chairs are high quality massage chairs. Read Less

I've been to 2 other nail saloons in Woodland and American Nails is the best.They are nice! They are happy to see you! They greet you as soon as you walk-in. The massage chairs work! The place is very clean! Diane has been doing my 'pink & white' nails and does a fanastic job, my nails look natural and beautiful.It's kinda hard to see them/find them....they're by Ross and beside Sally's Beauty Supply.
