I got my hair done here last week and let me tell you I will be coming back often! I don't remember the gal's name who cut my hair, but she was stellar. She was so talkative, yet not too intrusive to distract me from my conversation with my friend I was with. It was very pleasurable and my hair looks great. One of the best salons by far . Lisa the main owner saved me ! I went in to have someone fix it and it didn't come out as I wanted it to and spoke with Lisa about how frustrated I was and she totally understood me and took me in herself to fix what I wanted and we were up until 8:15pm and she did amazing! I originally went in to try someone new cause I already had bad luck with previous ones , and I didn't quit get what I wanted , I spoke with Lisa the owner and immediately she was very open and understanding . This is such a cute salon. They offer so much. Hair, face and nails. The salon is getting a beauty makeover as well! So clean. Easy appointments and all the staff are super friendly. You are greeted by a smile even as you walk from stylist chair to the washing basins ;). Lisa Coffman is the new owner and she does AMAZING work. Turned my "yellow gold into platinum" without frying any of my hair. That is super talented. So many friends from other salons have had their hair fried doing this but Lisa is so experienced. I was in town for a friend's wedding and had an amazing experience with Shelley and Chelsea. Shelley is so warm and bubbly and immediately made me feel special and shared my enthusiasm over doing beachy waves for my hair. Chelsea - a very talented hair stylist in training - and Shelley did an amazing job transforming my curls into sleek beachy waves. I loved my hair and got many compliments that night (and as a curly haired person I'm picky and have had my share of bad blow outs). The owner, Lisa, has made some beautiful changes to the look of the salon. It is warm and inviting and I recommend anyone to go here. There is a barber side where the barbers have been regularly working with patrons for years and they can do a clean and perfect men's cut. Arrived in CA for a wedding and decided, spontaneously, I needed new hair style. Boyfriend and I booked appointments with husband and wife duo: Sandy & her hubby. Salon itself doesn't have the greatest exterior but inside stylist area is comfy and has a separate sitting area with coffee, tea, and snacks available. Haircut was one of the best I received in my life! Highly recommend Sandy not only for cut but great product recommendations and conversation. I'm not a hair person but Sandy knew exactly what to do and gave recommendations when needed, was able to cut my hair exactly as photo I brought by as a reference depicted it. Good hair stylists are hard to find and Lisa is a gem.!! I've been going to her to get my hair done for 10 years. I make the drive to her from downtown Los Angeles because she's that good! Her prices are great and the salon is always neat and clean and her staff are all so nice. You can tell that they all love what they do.!! I have gone to other Salons in the past and have been overcharged because they offer you a glass of wine.... (I'm sorry I don't need a glass of wine at 10:30am!) And overcharged because my hair is long (its past my shoulders to my shoulder blades) ... it's not that long! and I'd always leave there feeling over charged and unhappy with the results. There's a whole separate room for men, which makes it a little more--er, private. Chris, the owner, is talented. My thin hair is difficult to work with, and it always comes out great.
