I am SO not impressed. I went there many years ago and thought they were very pricey plus the "lovely" lady doing my pedicure took one look at my feet and with a thick Eastern European accent said "What, you walk barefoot everywhere?"! It was summer and my standard shoe is a flip flop and I walk my dogs several times a day so I'm the first to admit my feet aren't soft and pink but, after all, isn't that why I needed a pedicure??? Needless to say I wasn't in any huge rush to return. Recently however my go-to, fabulous manicurist, left her job to have a baby. The people in the salon she left aren't that great so I decided to give Jessica another try (mostly because they open at 8am and I had plans at 11am that day). I won't do that again! When I made my appointment the receptionist told me that Sandy, who comes in at 10am, is the only person that does a gel manicure but that she'd ask her if she could come in early to accommodate my request and said that she'd call me to confirm the next day. She didn't call. I figured that if there had been a problem, she would have so I just went on in for my 8am appointment. The woman who did my pedicure was very pleasant but she suggested that I have the calluses on my feet burned off with acid! I promise you I'm not an armadillo and my feet are NOT THAT BAD! I've had many pedicures in my life and no one has ever sneered at my feet except for these women at Jessica. I don't know if they're lazy or if they don't know what they're doing. Or perhaps it's because I'm at least 20 years younger than their average client, obviously more active, and don't get my feet done once a week like the regulars so when they're faced with actual feet that are used they don't know what to do with them. At least this time though the nice technician did say that I have good toenails. So by about 830am, Sandy had not appeared and the receptionist said she'd forgotten to call her and asked me if I could wait until 10am when she normally comes in. I wasn't very happy and when I pointedly looked at my watch she mumbled something and hurried off to call Sandy. She scurried back a few minutes later and told me that Sandy was getting into an Uber to come in early from K-Town and could I wait a little while longer. I had plans at 11am and by the time she showed up it was 945am. She, unlike the other ladies in the salon, was not very pleasant and didn't hesitate to tell me that she'd been woken up to come in early for me. I'd just like to point out that I don't care who got up early to do what, I do not care that the receptionist is new, AND Sandy only came in 15 minutes earlier than usual! When I make an appointment I am there early and I expect to be seen on time. I don't run my business on excuses and for heaven's sake, this is nail salon, not a doctor's office! So, she did my nails with a frown on her face and I was only running about 30 minutes behind when she finished. I went to check out and the receptionist couldn't figure it out. She had to run my credit card a couple of times and she couldn't get the printer to print receipts and it shaved another 10 minutes off my morning just trying to pay them.So okay, here I sit, a mere 8 days after my $52.00 manicure and $32.00 pedicure (before tipping, mind you) and my nails are shredding. I have 5 chipped nails and 4 of those need serious filing and a complete re-do. I don't know what kind of product they use but it is seriously B-A-D. I have to find some place that I can get an appointment tonight because of the crappy manicure I got at Jessica. Not happy..... Read Less
