Very mixed reviews but let's starts with the good: 1) Open late2) Tu. He was my manicurist and the main reason why this rating is this high. Took wonderful care of my long natural nails. Gel paint job was great! I will come back only for him. Thanks Tu!The bad1) the manager (not Tu!) chipped my nail when he was taking off previous gel. If you have longer nails, you know how frustrating this can be to get a chip halfway down your nail.2) pedicure was TRASH. I saw that it was trash as I  was walking out and I was too tired to go back and forth to fix it. Uneven paint job, already chipping as I walked to my car. It's just bad y'all. I went for the first time yesterday in search of a nail spa open after 9 pm. WeHo once again did not fail me! An obvious feature of this place is that it is open until 10. Walking in, I was pretty impressed. Place looked clean, chic, and the prices are a steal. One thing I was really worried about is that I was walking in at 9:20 pm 40 mins before closing and I wanted a french gel manicure. I had spent a few weeks getting my nails to the point where they were long, like Pinterest hand model long and was nervous that a rush gel job would have me stuck with subpar nails for a month. The Lord provided with manicurist Jenny.So, she's the real deal ya'll. I have had maybe a hundred or so manicures since middle school, but this woman is the best I've had. Jenny is meticulous and patient with a steady hand and an eye for perfectionism. She dgaf that they were about to close. If you're in a rush and looking for a wham bam thank you ma'am manicure you should probably go elsewhere. As for me, I was relieved and impressed by how much care she took for my little hand canvases. She worked almost 40 minutes past closing to make sure I had exactly what I wanted. Not like I had to tell her much, since she clearly knew what she was doing! I paid 30 bucks for the best french tip I've ever had and would pay more if I had to (but please don't raise the prices!!!)As for the rest of the team vibe, the owner can be a little flustered and be multitasking (i.e. trying to run the business while he does some poor girl's nails lol) but it's not so awful that I'd give them one star or even three. I can see for someone else how that could be a total bummer though. But these people are working hard and staying way past closing to make sure the clients are happy and that definitely counts for something in my book!In conclusion, if I wanted a solid color regular or gel manicure, I would get a Groupon and call it a day. But if I need a clean af french gel manicure for my painstakingly grown nails, I am going straight to Jenny at Bleu Nails & Spa. Also, if this is a nail emergency and it's past 8 pm, this is by far the best option. I wanted to like this place, since they are open late into the evening, but the service was pretty awful.  I asked for an acrylic fill and pedicure, however there was a bit of a language barrier between me and the older gentlemen who seemed to be managing the salon when I went in. He sat me down at a normal station, instead of the pedicure tub, so I just figured I'd just forgo the pedicure anyway, since they seemed to be pretty busy.The older gentlemen got to work on my fill but was INCREDIBLY rough on my hands. Time and time again his aggressive drilling would burn my nail beds. He was also responsible for answering the salon's calls (and they get a LOT, probably because they're one of the only spots open so late) so he'd stop working on my nails every few minutes to answer the phone, or help another tech with questions on pricing, where she left her phone charger, where certain gel colors were etc. While he was on the phone he'd be vigorously filling down my cuticles... with a course nail file. My cuticles are now painfully red and cut open, scope out my picture.I was there nearly 2 hours, and hadn't even gotten to the base polish portion of my acrylic fill. The tech gave me a ring of the potential polish color samples, then disappeared for a few minutes. I looked around for him before deciding it was probably for the best that I get out of there. I paid full price for a fill and left with unpainted nails to avoid further pain and waiting around for sub-par service. TLDR: Go somewhere else, or ask for a tech who is not the older Asian gentleman, unless you want chewed up cuticles. Read Less

The young Asian guy with glasses who was doing my pedicure hurt my nail bed so bad, that it started bleeding. It still burns and hurts. He was also coughing and sneezing about fifty times in front of me without putting his hand in front of his nose/mouth!!! I'm pretty sure I caught a sinus infection from him! They shouldn't let employees work who are sneezing and coughing at clients nonstop! They put no love in their work and cut nail crooked!!! I would never recommend!!!! My experience here was mixed. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming, and I was comfortable throughout my visit. The young man who did my manicure was not only polite, but he helped me choose a new color and engaged me in conversation throughout. The lady who did my pedicure was sweet and silly, and her massage skills were on point. The downside was the end result. I wasn't particularly happy with the way my nails were painted, and the manicure barely lasted a week. For the toes my cuticles weren't properly trimmed, and the cuticle on my big toe was painted in the middle; it's not a good look. Other than that, my pedicure was good. My gel polish wasn't applied well. Even though he was a really nice person and made the experience pleasant, I wouldn't do my nails here again. Afterwards I noticed that one finger had a streak of the red polish I was wearing before, and a little donut hole of unpolished nail on the side. Both of my thumbnails are uneven at the bottom, so the polish goes from the cuticle on one side, and slants up on the other side leaving more exposed nail. After 8 days my nails are chipping and peeling more than a little. The other thing I didn't like was the excessive use of alcohol. I'm used to it being sprayed once, then the final wipe after the polish is cured. During my manicure my hands were sprayed with alcohol FOUR times! Additionally, not only my nails but my entire hand felt a burning sensation the first time I put it in the lamp. Ouch! Three stars for the nice people, but the mani/pedi left much to be desired. Based on the reviews, I guess this place can be hit or miss, but I had a great experience. My go to in the neighborhood is Fashion Nails and Spa, but Bleu Nails got my business tonight because they were still open at 7 pm on Sunday (they are open 9 am - 10 pm every day, impressive, and very convenient for those of us who work during the weekdays).  I also wanted to try gel nails since I find that regular manicures have chipped within just a few days, and Bleu Nails seems to specialize in them.The salon is located across the street from the Trader Joes and is fairly large with large windows facing out onto the street. I spent the time that they were doing my nails people watching through the window.  I had one woman working on my pedicure and another working on my manicure, and they seemed to be focused and diligent and were not chatting while working.  I was in and out in about an hour, which is quite efficient.The prices here are very reasonable for a "basic" mani/pedi, $15 mani/$18 pedi, no discount for getting a combo.  Gel is $10 extra for the mani ($25) and $17 extra for the pedi ($35), so almost double the cost, but I'm hoping that it will last for more than twice as long.  I did French, so that was an additional $5 per, putting me at $70 for a French gelto  mani/pedi, plus $10 tip = $80 all in. Yikes.  But I don't think it would cost any less anywhere else, and they did a great job.  I appreciated that they checked with me at each step to make sure that I was happy with what they were doing.  I had a bad experience at another nail salon where the French line did not cover my natural line and it just looked weird, so I appreciated them making sure that I was happy with the thickness of the white line and adjusting it as I asked.Just because of their long/late hours, I may need to make this my new go-to!Note: I walked, but they validate parking for two hours! Fantastic new nail salon in West Hollywood owned by a couple that has been running different nail places in our neighborhood for years. They offer every service you'd expect-- both regular & gel manicures and pedicures in great new massage chairs, waxing and a new skin treatment called Magic Pot which I have not tried yet but it looks great. I'm a regular and alternate between regular and gel on my nails and they use the best quality brands (nailtique base coats) so they always last longer than usual. Sunny & John are welcoming and wonderful people who will treat you like family and they're open 9am-10pm everyday. It's so convenient to have such a great nail place open late right in the heart of WeHo. Read Less
