First and last time going here. I made a day-of appointment for 4:00 with a friend of mine. We told them on the phone that she wanted a regular pedicure, and I wanted a gel manicure. We arrived right on time and waited for 30 minutes. I asked if we were going to be seen today. They then sat us in the chairs where we waited another 20 minutes. 50 minutes passed and no one had touched our nails. I asked one of the technicians if we should come back another day, they said no no they are starting soon. Another 10 minutes pass by and finally they begin. I waited an hour for the worst gel manicure I've ever received. It was so rushed and sloppy. It's been only a week and the gel is already peeling up from the bottom because whoever did my nails did not know what she was doing. Read Less

I've been here a few times and unless you accept their upgrades, the quality is awful. This last time she nicked my cuticle which bled for a while and is swollen. They dug in my toe until it hurt and my daughters nails had polish on the skin and her nail polish peeled off the next day. They didn't care about any if this. Are you kidding me? Read Less

Clean and modern place with a friendly staff. Made appointment in the early afternoon for a same day 6:00 pm. Short wait andwas greeted by Kim. It was Friday and the salon was busy. They have a variety of pedicure services to pick from and the scrub scents lovely. The massage was excellent, Kim very professional and quick with little chit chat (which I like). Prices reasonable for an upscale salon in Walnut Creek. Will go back for my next special occassion manicure and pedicure. Read Less

Galaxy nails spa in w.c is awesome, i was walk in on dec-21-2009 and i had pedicure and pink& white new set with kathy, which was terrific.kathy did a really nice job that I want to relax. Galaxy Nail Spa is the best experience that I have had in the Walnut Creek Area in a long time. The service was incredible. Pampering you, making sure you are comfortable & very clean. They are there to give you a relaxing experience and they make you feel like you are the only one there. Went to Galaxy for the first time today. It's a really great place that needs some love. I was the only person in there on a Monday night. I think it was partly because it's a Monday, but partly because more people need to know about it! It's brand new at the Mercer in Walnut Creek. Had a reflexology pedi with Kathy, which was terrific. Also had a brow wax with Vivian, which was great. Nail salons usually give me the creeps and I worry about cleanliness, but not here. Everything was sterilized and very clean. Their prices are very good too and a much better value than say a Changes, which really overcharges for things like waxings. I recommend giving them a try! Read Less
