My first experience here was amazing .!! I was accommodated immediately as soon as I walked in the door. They have happy hour Monday through Thursday. All staff is extremely friendly it is super Zen in here I love it I found my self a new nail spot I'm so happy I came here. Highly recommend in the HD . I have been coming to Zen Beauty for a few years now. I am always impressed by the quality of the work and costumer service that I receive. I appreciate the honesty of the employees with their schedule and how accommodating they aspire to be for their costumers. I appreciate the expectations they have on customers to keep the atmosphere peaceful for all. I personally go there to relax and leave feeling rejuvenated. I have brought my daughter (age 8 now) with me quite a few times, and have not ever felt that she was not welcome. She has received several pedicures herself and was treated fairly. Coming to high desert and looking for a salon, I finally can trust and go to Kellee. She is very kind. She is a creative artist. She has 18 plus years of experience of doing nails. She keep the salon clean and nice. Her staffs are very friendly. I have gone here for 2.5 years.  Their customer service is over the top.. From time you come in the door till the time you leave you'll be treated like a Queen!  I took my daughter, we really enjoyed . Oh my gosh never had a problem with getting my ingrown toenails cut. The girl Bree did my pedicure nice girl but made me bleed and infected my big toes hurt so bad! Called today to tell management about it she asked me if i could come in and check if a nail is still in there hell no not touching my toes. She cut to much into skin. Read Less

Posted on yelp. Owner rude. On yelp she called my mother and I cheap. HA! We spent 155 total for the two of us on a platinum mani peti and also tipped 20 bucks. They were not started on the top of the nail like they should have on mine because the technician was in a hurry. When she got to my mothers they were much thicker and done correctly because she took the time. When busted not even a week after they were done. She didn't have me clean my finger before putting the nail ...coat on so there was debris in between the nail and the polish. They were almost 2 weeks old and a second one busted and she said that they all needed to be filled. They were so badly done last night that we had to go and get them repaired this morning somewhere else. Paid them to do it correctly. They could not just ripped the nails off obviously because it was done last night. The guy who did it was shaking his head the whole time and said he couldn't believe that they were done so thin and he was surprised that only one broke off in the first week. Several customers and all his staff even looked at it and were astounded at the poor quality that was done. This nail salon is an absolute joke. To clarify my mother and I didn't expect to go in and have our nails done completely free. We expected better quality than what we paid over $150 for. I have high esteem for the Asian culture and expected better respect because it was a Asian established and ran business. In the culture they respect not only their customers but elderly much better. How she spoke to my mom last night was very disrespectful. On that note I will never come again because of the poor quality and the manner in which they treat their customers. To specify it has nothing to do with money. The fact that she would bring money up in a comment infuriates me. I'm the kind of person that would rather spend extra for good quality and good service.They also strive to do better. This owner does not care and blames others for her downfall. She is a kid. Where to start? My mother and I will never go here EVER again. First of all, all five star ratings are biased. They have a jar for a free manicure that is drawn every month for five star ratings in the front of the door. To get truly honest comments don't do that. Your buying stars. My mom wanted a mother daughter bonding day after I have been working like crazy at my job. The last time we had been there was when the place was called Paris Nails and under different  management. We went there two years and NEVER had isses. They were always well done and lasted at least four weeks. We never had then brought in for breaking during every day activities. Even when I was an active teenager doing sports and was rough on them. My mother payed for a platinum mani/peti and spent 155 on both of us. The technician did my nails first and did them in a hurry. They were not shaped correctly. They were not anywhere near the top of the nail and they were super thin. My mothers was done with more care and time. They were shaped well on the top of the nail and the nail itself was crated thicker to last longer. Mine were oval shaped and hers square. Both with gel nail polish. We specifically asked what the difference was to which several of them said it allowed them to last much longer so it would protect the nail better. When we left we were happy. I am a waitress. I am always on my feet. I am getting orders out, cleaning cups, taking orders, making bills, etc. Not heavy wear or tear on nails. It's not like I am the head of a demo construction site for petes sake! In the last two weeks I have refereed at least 15 customers to Zen who fell in love with my nails. In less than a week one of my nails broke off simply while I was cleaning cups at work. The owner repaired it free of charge. Before painting the nail however she didn't allow me to clean the nail so there was shavings between the nail and new coat of polish. Gross!Today sealed the deal. We are officially never coming back and I will never refer anyone from my job again. Mind you, I spotted one of MY customers in there when I came back to repair the second nail that busted after exactly two weeks with these nails getting a pedicure. We showed the owner my nails and told her that something just wasn't right with them. She agreed my mothers looked much better and asked who did hers and then who did mine. She can go at least a few more weeks without a fill. When she found out it was the same person she rudely laughed at us and said it wasn't the person who did it, it was my hand. When my mom said it should have stretched about four weeks she argued and said it needed to be done now and it never lasts that long.  I pointed out to her that the one done a week before  by her had worn much better than the others had in a weeks time. She is very closed minded and childish so did not listen to what we had to say. She said it was my fault. My mother mainly types for a living. She puts more stress on her nails than I do. She then said the reason hers looked better was because she had the gel nail polish. We both looked at each other and then back to her before telling her that both sets were gel. She got angry and said we had different cuts. Then get this, she said the cut could have been too long for me and reshaping and cutting shorter would help. She reshaped but didn't cut shorter and still charged us five extra for a reshape and cut. She just wanted us out so did a rush job on my nails. Luckily she allowed me to wash my nails this time. She got upset when my mother didn't want to pay the extra fifteen bucks for the gel. She asked if there would be a difference if we brought our own gel polish and had them out it on. She got even more angry and said it was the time which made it fifteen extra so no. I told my mom later I wasn't surprised because I actually watched one of the girls put a solution in the polish to make them stretch thinner the first time we went there. The owner was the biggest reason as to why we will not be going back especially after seeing the comments made on yelp by her. She needs to grow up or stop playing business and give the store to someone who is. Only a child doesn't look at criticism to improve on themselves and blames others for there short comings... I've been to a lot of different nail salons never lasted more then a fill. And one day I walked into Zen nails and have been coming back ever since ... Love the staff .. Kelly and Taylor are the best in my book. The entire staff are great and the atmosphere is welcoming. And it's super clean...
