Well my first Yelp review for a nail salon! Lisa was very nice; however her work was not. She cut my cuticle to the point that it bled. The color was nice but poorly done. There was parts of my nails on my right hand that were not painted at all. The top coat was slopped on and dried onto the edges of my cuticles. At the tip of my nails underneath was a lot of extra paint. The skin on the front of my nails on some fingers was painted too. I tried removing most of the under nail paint before I took the photos. Came here since a family member of mine recommended it as I was only visiting town for the weekend. I made an appointment and got seen right away by Holly (yet I ended up being there for 2 1/2 hrs). I was only getting a fill on my gel nails and a pedicure. I wish I took a picture of my nails but I don't even want to remember them. First off she didn't even paint them all the way to my cuticle (which is the whole point of getting a fill) then the design she gave me on my ring fingers looked like a 4 year old did it. On top of that she left not one but TWO hairs on two nails even though I told her BEFORE she applied the design and clear coat. Not to mention she made some of my fingers bleed as well. She also didn't clean up my nails which left globs of polish on the sides and the tips of my nails were also super scratchy. The pedicure wasn't the best but it was fine but done by another lady. My manicure was so bad when I went to go sit and dry my nails these girls were looking at them and asked if I got them done here. When I said "yes" they got up and walked out fast before they got called for their turn. Then they charged me for a full set not a gel fill. DO NOT go here!! Not worth it and NEVER going back. This is the second time I've tried to patronize this establishment. The first time was on a lunch break because this salon is close to where I work. I called to make an appointment.  When I got there, they were busy...thirty minutes into my hour long  break they saw me and I got the quickest and worst manicure ever, which of course, was wet when I left, and my nails got all messed up while I was getting into my car trying to make it back to the office in time.Today I went in for a quick polish change- I asked if they had time and they, of course, said yes, have a seat...again, I waited for fifteen minutes but then had to walk out knowing that they would probably get to me ten minutes before I had to go back to work. IF YOU CANNOT TAKE SOMEONE IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME, SAY SO! A simple no, please come back later, or anything like that would have been so considerate of my time. Instead, you have made me waste my time AND money, both of which I am short on. I understand that at lunch time businesses around the government center will be busy, but seriously. I've been going to this place for almost  2 yrs now and never really had any complaints until now.  I always said this place was my favorite when it came to pedicures, but yesterday that all changed. About three months ago my boyfriend and I went in to get pedicures. Everything seemed to be fine until the next day when I noticed some time of allergic reaction on my his legs(I figured he was allergic to the scrub they used). The rash starts off looking like some rash and within a few days they start to look like blisters( white heads)We weren't to sure if that was the reason so we didn't say much. Yesterday we went in again for pedicures and decided to give it another shot and decided not to do the delux pedi to avoid the scrub. To no surprise, my boyfriend's legs broke out again... Only this time so did mine!! We aren't sure what it is but we assume it's one of their products that they use or some unsanitary issue. There is no way we are both allergic!!! Heads up. Read Less

My family has known and gone here for over 15 years and would recommend it to anybody. I personally go to Maggie and she is great! She does a great quality job every time. My daughters have also gone to her. With her knowing that they play sports she keeps them short and very sturdy! She goes above and beyond every time for us. Not mentioning her working around my crazy schedule. My daughters and I have also had the other ladies do our nails and again they do exactly what u want and do it great!! I wouldn't come here at all. Holy nipped me pretty bad on my index finger, and Maggie had said next time she would give me a discount. So I said ok. Well I go back for a pedi and no discount. They acted like nothing. So I go back for a mani to see if maybe they remembered and nothing! I know I should of said something but why should I if their the ones who nipped me and said I would give me a discount (I go there often and they do know me). Plus I noticed they don't sterilize their stuff. Quality is good but because they don't sterilize I would be cautious. I just started to notice that the last two times I went. I've been going to Kayla every 3-4 weeks for my acrylics and she is amazing! I promise you that you'll always be satisfied. After the first visit I had with Kayla, she's never forgotten my name, which I thought was so impressive based on how many clients she has. She also recommended buffing my nails instead of using a top coat or gel overlay because I'm a hair stylist and she noticed I would come in and my nails were stained from color. So Kayla, the professional that she is, decided buffing would be the best! So I went with it and they are amazing! I don't have to go in as often to get the stains removed, they look shiny and stay shiny til I'm ready to come in again, and I'm saving a little money because of it! Saturday I was cruising around thinking I treat myself and get my nails done. I remembered this place from my many trips to the Vons market across the shopping center. I didn't feel like driving too far so I went to some place closer to home. Now I have to state i don't like giving bad reviews. Usually I just say forget it and walk away. But I am so unhappy about the manicure I got I think it's necessary. My over all experience here wasn't the greatest. I had a woman try to force acrylics on my hands and then I got a pretty terrible manicure. The file she used was extremely rough and left all sorts of little bits. They kind of feel like a weedwacker was used on them. My french tips are incredibly uneven in thickness and shape, the line is really sloppy on the bottom edge. The top coat that was used was soo old it only went on crazy thick and has massive bubbles in it, it was like alien spit.  The manicure ended up taking forever to dry and within a couple hours chipped. The next morning most of the top coat had separated from my nail making it look like my nails were peeling off. Considering the quality of the manicure I got, I am really upset with how much I paid. I would have been better off just asking a drunk hobo to do the job- it might have been better and certainly would have been cheaper. Read Less
