My wife talked me into getting a pedicure for the first time ever.  I wasn't sure what to expect.  The staff here made us feel really welcome and offered bottles of water throughout our experience.   I decide this was the right thing to do as my civic duty so that others may not see my horrific foot display with flip flop season  rapidly approaching.First, I was invited to a warm foot bath then an added solution with some smell goods (I'm sure some disinfectants were in order), and then the treatment.As the woman sniped and moved around my feet I squirmed.  I never felt so vulnerable as before with someone trimming up these wolvarine beef sticks.  Because I am ticklish, I squirmed and laughed as the woman used a brush to remove the dead skin from the bottom of my feet.   Through out the experience I watched Talyor Swift videos at a 90 degree angle on the TV that was in the back of the room.  I opted for watching the videos to break up the awkwardness since there was nothing else to do since my phone was on 10 percent charge and the woman servicing my feet didn't speak a lot of English (Or didn't care to engage in conversation).  I would rate this place a lot higher if they offered phone chargers, TVs in direct line of sight, and more personable people who spoke directly to you.  Overall the ladies here know their craft and better the community sending out their customers into the public with flawless pedicures and manicures. This place has great hours because they coincide with the malls hours. So if you get off work at 6 you still have time for a walk in appointment! Misa was the sweetheart that took care of me. I don't get my nails done a whole lot so I  really appreciated help picking the perfect nail color and shape for my nails. :) on top of it all, probably the most satisfied I've ever been with acrylics! So, I've had a good manicure, nongel, before by the owner's son. Today, the tech with blonde highlights (young and thin)  was quite rude when I couldn't understand her. She snapped in Vietnamese to the other techs, who then laughed. As for her ability, I'd say she was so-so. I was not happy when the quoted mani-pedi special for $45 turns out to be $53 for gel, but another $10.00 ($63.00) because they have to spend 15 minutes removing old gel. Then the pedicure tech, again asked what color I wanted. The mani tech was using it, so I said, "any color like wine." She took this to mean "white." Wow! Should I make her take it off? Been coming here lately for the pedi and gel combo and today I came for a gel polish. The sign said 22 and they charged me $27. After arguing with the lady in front of the place (which everyone was staring) I paid and left. She was mad the moment I sat down because my nails and hands were dry. DO NOT COME HERE. MISA AND THE REST OF THE WORKERS GIVE HORRIBLE SERVICE. If I could give this place one star I would. The people were so rude and I was told it was a 5 minute wait and then 30 minutes passed by. They were not busy and were speaking in their language and i felt uncomfortable. One of the ladies asked me if I had chosen my color and I had barely open my mouth to start asking her for an opinion on which color I should get when she rudely interrupted me after the first word I said and said "oh okay so you haven't chosen the color" and then she walked away. At that point I was ready to walk out and leave, and I would have left if I didn't need my nails done THAT EXACT DAY. But it was the only time I had available. After about 10 minutes passed by, a girl finally came to help me. She asked me how I wanted my nails to look so I told her and she didn't say one word to me the entire time I was sitting there while she did my nails. I was so uncomfortable that I wanted to walk out with out any color on my nails. She asked me to wash my hands so I did and then went to sit back down. She rudely asked "can you pay now?" And I asked why. She started raising her voice and I didn't appreciate that so I asked her to please lower her voice since I was literally sitting right in front of her. Since she was so loud another worker walked over and asked the problem. She also raised her voice at me and asked me if I didn't understand. At that point I was so mad I didn't even want to pay. The manager then walked over and let me know the reason that she asked me to pay before she painted my nails was so that I wouldn't ruin them to get my money out. I was looking for a place to get my eyebrows waxed and I came across this place. I walked in with my toddler son ( who was being fussy) and they instructed me to sit down. I was standing next to the chair with my son and one of the women rudely told me that she couldn't do my eyebrows with my son there. I understand I couldn't hold him, but her tone was rude and disrespectful. I told her that understood, then she said that she was too busy to do my eyebrows and that I should come back another time. I would never go back to this place again. The rude disrespectful tone that their employee had with my was unbelievable. Read Less

I went here a couple days ago because I really needed my nails done, and I'm new to the area. The lady was nice, however they were out of the color I wanted so I chose another one and I don't love it. I have smaller fingernails, so I gave an extra star because I know it may be more difficult, but my nails look like they've been growing for a week. The price isn't bad, $27 for a gel manicure, but it should be a good manicure. The massage part wasn't much of a massage, more like rubbing lotion in circular motions into the back of my hand for a minute. I wasn't impressed, I'll probably try somewhere else next week. absolutely hate this place . i walked in and no one greeted me . there was no customers and i still had to wait 20 mins to be approached . then finally when i was asked what i wanted , i was given attitude (acrylic nails without the plastic tip). Everyone in the shop was standing around me as if i were getting something abnormal on my nails they've never seen before . it made me so uncomfortable. Normally a full set is 25-35 dollars but she charged me 50!! when i asked why it was so expensive, she said it was because all of the work she had to do to make my nail with the acrylic because i didnt get the plastic tip! I was pleasantly surprised by this place and the quality of my gel nail manicure. I was however taken off guard by the additional cost for gel removal as I have never been to a salon that charges more regardless of if you are getting them removed or having a new put on. They have great colors and I would still suggest this spot if your preferred salon is unavailable! Read Less

If you are looking to get amazing nails done with awesome customer service, this is the place to go! The best nail tech is henry!! He is also the 1st person to greet you with a warm welcoming smile! He can do any type of crazy or simple nail design you throw at him! For pedicures, nancy is the best! Just sometimes it is a little hard for me to understand her and I feel terrible when I have ask her to repeat herself like 3 times. But overall, this is the place to go to get ur nails done! I happened to be in Ventura from Santa Barbara for a  family event and decided to get a full set of acrylics applied since we were hours early. I was seated right away as a walk-in about 10am on a Saturday which was a pleasant surprise. Vicky gave me a full set of gel acrylics and a gel manicure. She was pleasant, professional and prompt! I walked out only paying $43 total. It's been a little over two weeks now and I'm ready for a fill but my manicure still looks great!! *Actual real customer experience* - I can't believe I even paid them. They were nice people. I liked their attitudes and customer service. However, the job they did on my fiancee and my nails was amateur. They had a new girl who was being taught by someone who was supposed to be more experienced, but they both did a job that was less than even and smooth. Another lady was doing my manicure clean up and did a very uneven cuticle job, and even cut my finger. The filing, and cutting of my nails was rough and a little jagged. I could have done a better job myself, and I don't even do nails. This was my first pedicure experience. My fiance says she was surprised how uneven the coating on both our fingers turned out. Henri did an amazing job on my nails at Oasis Spa. I fell in love with their manicure and pedicure deal, their dedication to cleanliness and their positive personality. I went in this afternoon for an impromptu pedicure. They were pretty busy, but I only had to wait about 20 mins. I had Vickie. She was very nice, but didn't ask what service package I wanted and cut my nails without asking how I wanted them (I tend to keep them a little longer than most people), but they look really nice and she did a good job. Worst mani/pedi I have ever gotten. I came in here late on a Thursday evening, around 6 o'clock as a walk in. I only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated which was okay, they were pretty busy. I chose to do their $45 deal for a pedicure and gel manicure. The woman who did my nails was rude, inattentive and very careless. I didn't catch her name but she was young and had bleached blond/yellow hair. The whole time she was doing my gel manicure she was hardly paying attention to my nails as her 3-4 year old son was sitting in the pedicure chair next to us. I understand having children can be difficult but it's inappropriate to be caring for a child while with a paying customer. She got up and left with him about three times to take him to the bathroom so my whole visit took twice as long as it should have. It was very obvious that she did not care to be doing her job and really just wanted to get me out of there as quick as possible. My pedicure was awful, she didn't trim my cuticles, file my nails or give me a massage; just slapped on some paint and asked me to pay. My gel manicure looked nice for a couple days but it's the worst quality I've ever gotten, the paint has almost completely peeled and it's been 5 days. I won't be coming here again. The young woman who did my nails needs to learn a thing or two about customer service. I recommend going to Jessica Nails on Victoria instead of this place. Read Less

I have been a loyal Oasis customer for about two years now driving all the way from santa Barbara. I always make my appointments with Le Nguyen she's great! Always going out of her way to make sure I am happy and satisfied with her work. I wish I could say the same about the rest of the staff. I went in on Tuesday at about 6:45 pm. One of my nails needed a touch up, the Gel came off one of the corners after my nail had gotten stuck earlier that day. As soon as they saw me wal...k in they said "she's not here" I explained I just needed them to fix one nail. They told me they couldn't help me because they were too busy even though they only had 3 customers. I told them I would wait to be helped, then they told me to come back later I agreed, but then they said Le had used her own color on my nails so they couldn't help me. I knew this wasn't true since I had picked out the color myself. It was clear to me they just didn't want to help me. After I explained the color was from their spa they told me to find it myself. I was very upset I spend my money at this spa and have been doing it religiously for a couple of years. It took them about 4 minutes to fix my nail. I had to let them know how obvious it was they didn't want to help me in order for them to fix my nail. Not to mention I didn't need to speak their language to know they were talking about me the entire time I was there. As a result of their bad attitude the job on that one nail was very mediocre. I went Saturday to get a pedicure.  The lady did a fair job.   I waited for the polish to dry and when she said it was dry I put on my shoes and left.  I wasn't dry and it got smudged.  I went back the next day to explain what had happened and she YELLED in my face, she said I didn't "listen" to her, and I was supposed to wait and then walk out barefoot as they don't have pedicure sandals.  (I had to explain why that was unsanitary)I was lied to, and treated very disrespectfully and will never return.
