**update 2 moths later.....still great service but they are "trying" to become all cash......no cards at all......which is rediculous for their prices. I have been coming here off and on for quite some time. They place always seems really clean and I like that they use plastic to cover the tubs. The reason for 2 stars today was that I paid with credit card - as I have always done in the past - and was told 'next time bring cash, we prefer cash'. They do have an ATM on sight but we all know they generally charge a fee as well as your bank, so thats an extra $3-5. Im not someone who carries cash and pay for everything with my card. So it very inconvenient to have to stop at a bank prior to giving my business to someone. Read Less

Overall it was average. You can drive a mile and come across at least 2 nail salons. Therefore, you better impress me with your customer service...if you want me to be a regular and see the same nail technician every time. I'm generous with 3 stars...I wasn't offered water, they didn't have white nail polish, language barriers and the manager needs leadership skills. She was on FB and never left her seat during my mani/pedi. When I paid she tried to get me to pay by withdrawing cash from their ATM instead of using my debit card. Every time I go here they always have time to get me in which I love. I try to make appointments when I can but for the most part getting my nails done is a spur of the moment decision and this place always has people available to fix me up! Today I got a relaxing pedicure, the fresh cucumber one and it costed $38 dollars. Compared to other places I feel that this is a really good price for what I'm getting. Vivian did my toes and she was amazing. I'll definitely be using her in the near future.For my manicure I got the same gel color as my toes and paid about $30. Had my nails done for a wedding and they placed me with someone with very little experience. She did a not so great job so i returned the next day and they had someone else do them again. They turned out okay but two days later two of them chipped and they dont look natural at all. They are too chunky and a few of them arent smooth on the top. So I've been contemplating my review on this nail salon for probably over a year now.  IF I had to rate just the service of the technicians most would receive 4-5 stars. Unfortunately I'm rating this salon as a whole.  They have had lots of turnaround and I am sure in this business it's fairly common but in speaking with some of the staff whom you get used to and like their services it's apparent why they end up leaving.  But let me go in order.First of all I love the cleanliness of the salon.  They line every basin with a new plastic liner every time.  To me this is extremely important due to nail fungus can spread pretty quickly and no one wants to deal with that.  Secondly they always unpackage a new set of files and buffers as well, so you know the tools are also sterilized.  To be a dirty salon is unacceptable and they seem to have the cleanliness down so to me that's great.  I've had several wonderful technicians here but sadly several have left so I don't ever call and request anyone and 90% of the time when I go in and get someone they're pretty decent.  I went in yesterday, which was the 4th of July, and it was pretty busy and understaffed but I was happy they were open so I was cool with waiting.  The guy I got was nice and I could tell he was stressed so his job was just Ok. My daughters were well done.  Why the 2 stars?  Honestly it's the management.  Being in business my whole life their business philosophy on customer service is pretty tacky.  When you go in and spend at least 50 bucks (and I normally am over 100) and they won't take your credit card because of 'fees' is astounding to me.  They have an ATM in the corner and they point at it and ask for cash.  In the past I did wind up getting cash because I felt pushed to do so, and every single time I was so irritated.  The machine charges 50 cents.  Now I know that isn't a ton of money but WE are the customers and THEY are the business providing a service and all businesses come with a cost and overhead.  To make your customers withdraw cash to save them credit card fees is embarrassing.  It's classes and for over a year this has bothered me.  As I sit and watch people get embarrassed as they have to take out cash I have decided to move onto another salon in town and it's been wonderful and guess what? I went in at 5:30 (they closed at 7) with an appointment and while the got me in quickly they rushed through doing my nails. I got acrylic and I get them very very short and as it approached 7 he rushed through painting them and I had to go home to see my family the next day so couldn't get them fixed. They were nice, But don't know how to do design nails very good, I ended up going home and redoing it myself.. Also the nail refill was bumpy and the owner is hard to have a conversation with unless he likes you or you talk about something he's interested in..
