I've tried out a few nail salons in Vacaville looking for friendly, clean and good pedicures. Hawaii Nails is great! The salon or pretty large and open. Had a girl name Linda that sits in the back by tvs. Took her 2 1/2hrs to do my Coffen Nails...and spent all that time to not even get the shape right they were basically long square nails. She still charged me 40$ And at the bottom of my nails u can see the glue and fake nails. I was so tired an ready to go home so i didnt even pay attention under my nails till i got home. The WORST place I've ever been to. I've gone a few times hoping to get someone new and fall in love with the place but I have been unsuccessful. I'd rather go pedi and mani less then to go to this place. They are so rude! I have really bad nerves on my hands and have informed them of it and they just yell at me like I'm a child. Strangely enough their card thing is always broke so you have to use the atm they just so happen to have in the store. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. Read Less

I have been looking for a great place to go and get my nails done.  I have never liked any of the places in Vacaville.  I went with a friend who encouraged me to check this place out as she has been going to Vyvian for 7 years so when she bought this salon - I figured hey!  what the heck!  I was immediately impressed with the how spacious the salon was and it seemed newly remodeled.  It was clean and love the colors!  My mani/pedi was spot on and I will be back!  I have not received so many compliments on my nails ever...what a nice place!  Everyone was friendly and the clients all seems very happy. Got my nails done the day before prom with my friend. Being someone who never has had their nails done I looked through some pictures on Yelp and this place was most convenient as it was closer to home than others and they had their 20% discount so, why not? We came an hour and a half before closing (I hadn't known we would take so long) and ended up leaving an hour after but the employees were courteous the entire time!The workers were not very talkative but were kind and did a great job. The lady that helped me, in particular, was sure to ask for my approval before continuing onto each step (clipping the acrylic to the correct shape/size, color corrections, etc.)-- frequently referring to my reference pics, which for me was a huge plus! *The only downside is (I didn't know) they do not accept card, only cash. Under new ownership!!! Angela and Vivian from Gallery nails are now at this location. I've been going to Angela for the past 5 years she is great for manicures, pink and whites and her pedicures are hands down the best in town. I would highly recommend giving them a try. Read Less

Under new management!Came here because my girlfriend is a regular and we had a pedi date. Saw a couple familiar faces from Gallery Nails! One of the girls recently took over (2 weeks ago), so under new management. She has plans to do some remodeling and will be having a special in May to celebrate.I like how spacious it is inside and the decor is nice and inviting. Huge screens are visible no matter where you are and the volume is up so you can actually hear what's on. Lady who did my nails was very nice and had a gentle touch. She cleaned up a lot since it's been a couple months since I've taken care of my toes, so they're finally ready for the open toed shoes season. Deluxe pedicure is $40.The lady who did my friend's toes remembers a lot about her and was very polite. She took great care and did a beautiful job with the gel pedicure. Was extremely overcharged for a gel manicure of $40. I guess this was due to coming in 30 minutes before closing. The gentleman was nice but the ladies were rude. I had to use their ATM because she didn't want to take my card. Insisted on cash only. Probably trying to avoid a paper trail on what is really being collected. Read Less

I absolutely loved this place when the previous owner had it. It was friendly, clean, and priced appropriately. I gave it several chances after the new woman took over and will never go back. Almost all of the people who worked there have left in a matter of months since the new lady took over. I tried expressing my concerns to the new owner, but she was not interested, so I am. I'm wondering if they have new owners or management. Have been using them for a long time but when I went in first week of June I noticed a lot of new people. Also noticed not nearly as much attention or time spent on my pedicure. When I left there many of my nails were not painted on the sides and unfortunately I didn't have time to go back as I was leaving for the UK. I'm not one to ever write a review to a place but I've never had a worse experience getting my nails done. My nails have bubbles on all of them. They arent even filled the whole way on the side. When I showed the lady and asked her to fix them, she made them even worse and still charged me full price. I even asked her to just paint over the job she did and completely ignored me. Gave it a 2 because I got a gel fill in today with shop owner and she seemed very agitated about doing my nails 10 min before closing. It was her choice she insisted on doing them, so no reason for the rushed job. She also complained about her having to stay later. It was a definite rushed job and I'm dissatisfied. Then on top. Of that she tried to over charge me, as I know gel fill in cost $30 and not $40. The only person I prefer to style nails is Maggie. Great quality work and good customer service. Her boss could learn from her. She's the reason they received at least two stars. Read Less
