I HAVE NEVER BEFORE WALKED OUT OF A NAIL SALON CRYING !! I'm so unhappy! This place was absolutely horrible, the lady couldn't shape my nails right and they look so uneven I'm going to a different place tomorrow (even though I really don't have the time or want to spend more money on them) She had to have another lady shape them but they were too far f***ed up to fix. She in the process, cuts my finger not paying attention while shaping! Then the color I choose, shrivels up ...on my nails while in the drying machine, so I had to choose a completely new color and waste more time when all I wanted to do was walk out. When she takes the old color off, she didn't even get the excess off and was going to leave it until I said sooo. You're just going to act like you don't see this? And paint a lighter color over the dark excess and hope it doesn't show through? Went to the Chinese place a few spots down with my BF and he was gonna drop me off at home cause he had to work. I decided to go to envy to get my nails done since it was right there and I needed mine done. Walk in have to use the restroom but ask them for a full set but if I can use the restroom first. They say yes. My BF wanted to make sure they could get me in before he left and I had forgot something in his car. So I came out of the bathroom and told them I had to run to our car to get something. The lady shot me an annoyed look and didn't say anything to me. I rushed so they didn't think I was ditching my app. (On their door it says "restroom for customers only) I get some people would pull one over on them but don't expect the worst of people. I came back and she had me sit in the chair for awhile. Finally she came over and rushed to get my nails started. I didn't get the color wheel to choose my color until she finished the acrylics on one hand so I had to look through the the color wheel with one hand while she worked on the other which was hard. I finally pick out a color and she walks away. Comes back a few minutes later and she said she didn't have the number of that color so she has to fix it and she couldn't do the color I wanted. I picked another one and she pulled a way darker color. Finally got it settled but none of the colors that I chose the first two times and then after its all done I look at them and there is so much space between the acrylic and my nail bed. It looks like they had been grown out for awhile. I just got them they shouldn't look like they've grown out. Not to mention a man comes in and I'm assuming he is wanting to get a gift certificate for his gf. He was waiting for about 3 minutes and nobody says a word to him. Not even a hello. Been going to envy nails for a while an never left disappointed until I had the lady in the third seat do my nails. my nails were chipping off the next day. And when I go back to get them fixed she was mad an got a horrible attitude with me an told me she will fix them but she won't ever do my nails again very poor customer service I was very respectful an all I wanted was my nails fixed. i ended getting them fixed but she was very rude and DISRESPECTFUL with a nasty attitude. What's the point of making an appointment when you show up just to find they've just started working on someone else??? I really should have learned after the fungus I got on all of my nails from Envy Nails at the end of last year. But I gave them another shot. I stopped by on my way home from work on a weekday and was told to leave and come back in 40 min. Why would I drive home just to get in my car and drive back across town? So I got home and decided to call and make an appointment for the following day after I got off of work. I showed up the next day five minutes early for my appointment and ended up waiting for a half an hour while I watched her give a pedicure to someone that she had literally just started on right before I arrived. When Tina finally came over to start my nails, she didn't even apologize for having me wait. She just did my acrylic fill (cut me with the drill/file 3X and got irritated when I jumped), applied a gel polish on top and then put my hands in the dryer.  Then after talking trash to the other ladies in Chinese and they all laughed, she just got up and walked away without saying goodbye or thanks for coming, leaving Rose to finish up my hands. Rose came over and snatched my hands and began wiping my nails with alcohol. All the while, she's stabbing me with her nails as she's gripping my hands and flipping them back and forth to check Tina's work. I got my nails done by Rose once and NEVER AGAIN because of how rude and rough she was. Drum roll... wanna know how much she charged me for an acrylic FILL????? 35 mf dollars. They weren't gel, it was monomer and polymer (acrylic). I used to do nails back in the day. And they didn't cut them down or soak anything off or do any designs. Just a fill. $35. I hope y'all enjoyed your little $35 because it's the LAST TIME I go there. Shame on me for giving them a second chance. Rose is VERY rude and extremely rough. But a lot of ladies put up with it because of her work. Tina is usually friendly and gentle. But they all talk trash and they ALL overcharge you. I get the feeling that part is driven by Rose (the owner) and they're probably afraid to confront her about it. Either way, no more crappy treatment or overpaying for my nails again. I work too hard for this paper to go in for my one and only pampering that I have time for regularly. What they need to realize is that worse than pissing off ONE customer, word of mouth (especially on social media) is how they are going to lose a lot of business treating people the way that they do. **See update below** Just started coming here less than a year ago and so far so good after about 6-8 visits. Prices are reasonable, attitudes are friendly, the place is clean, walk-ins don't have a long wait, and they all have several years of experience (approx 18-30 ea). I would recommend this shop to anyone in the Vacaville or surrounding areas. Any of the ladies would do a good job on you, and I'm PICKY! *Note: I like Swarovski crystals on my nails and after asking for crystals once and leaving with plastic decorations from this place once, I just decided to go buy them and add them myself after leaving the salon. Don't expect the fancy crystals. But they do hand-painted decorations. Good luck! 😊✌ ***Update: several months in, found a fungus under all of my nails, causing the nails to separate from my nail beds. It was VERY PAINFUL, as one ripped all the way off in the store one day, down to the cuticle and bled everywhere. This is what alerted me to the problem. I had to cut them all off. They took months to heal. I might give them another shot if they show me brand new files, tools that come fresh out of the sanitizing machine and fresh monomer/polymer. I been going to Rose for 7years... Rose does excellent on your nails... She is always Moody but I kept putting up with it because I could not find anyone to do my nails great like she dose. I came here because my other nail salon was busy and I needed my nails done ASAP.  When I walked in I was the only customer so I was helped right away. The whole time I was there I felt so uncomfortable. I felt like they were talking about me. The lady pressured me to do the gel nail with fill and I declined. As soon as I declined I felt like her whole attitude changed towards me. She was very short and aggressive with my nails. She asked me did I want a cut down and I declined. She did my nails and they turned out ok. She ended up charging me 18 bucks when a fill is 15. I guess she charged me 3 bucks for the cut down that I declined. When they charge individuals without telling them in advance that just takes away from their tip. So my tip was the 3 bucks she decided to add on. If I could give no stars, I would. I went in to have my acrylic overlay taken off and my talons cut down. It had been 3 weeks since my last session (done in Texas, where I live). My best friend used to come here to get her nails done, so I figured I would come here. I got the same thing I ALWAYS get done. After the tech was done, there were swirls in my acrylic and it looked as if I hadn't even got them done, since she didn't smooth out the nail acrylic with the have buffer. When I brought it to her attention, she said it was "my nail". I preceded to tell her "I get my nails done every 2 weeks back home (in out here to bury my oma) and this isn't my nail bed, it the crappy job". I will NEVER come back here again. $30 later, I'm gonna have to go pay and have these taken off and redone, RIGHT! I like the natural look, so therefore, I do not use any polish. After having a bad experience at my old nail place, I was referred here by my waitress from bjs when I saw how cute her nails were! She recommended rose or Tina, but I went with Kim! She was friendly and extremely detail oriented! Usually I end up with a nail or two crooked and longer than the rest, not today! Kim took the extra time to make sure the length and shape was perfect on each nail. She speaks great English and was happy to try and do whatever I showed her a picture of, I've been to other places and they shrug me off and insist on doing something basic. Kim tried to do a spiderweb and asked her co worker to help her out, I totally appreciate that, made me feel like she wanted to make sure I got a quality design even if she couldn't do it. I 100% will be returning to Kim and envy nails. I would also like to point out their price point which is extremely reasonable for their quality of work. I have been to this salon a few times now, I've had 3 different technicians do my nails and none of been all that great. Today was the worst, I spent an hour and a half in that chair and $40 on a new set and the job is not even done correctly. If I'm sitting in a chair for an hour and a half and my nails are jagged at the end and not smooth, that's bad. Not to mention she didn't listen to the length or correct shape I wanted and after correcting her twice and still getting it wrong I gave up. This place has potential if they stop gossiping to each other and instead listen to their paying customers. Also, when I was signing my slip she was hovering over me and watching what I was tipping...akward. Nobody said goodbye or have a nice day, just collected the money and sent me on my way. If I could give this place negative stars for my last visit I would. The last time I went in to get a fill Kim worked on my nails. All she had to do was the fill  and paint, no cut down or anything like that. I had also brought in my own polish. Kim had charged me 25 dollars for my fill when the pricing clearly says $15! I would not mind at all paying $25 for a fill if she had done the job well but she did a horrible job and  my nails are not painted or filed all the way around. She was clearly rushing because they were  busy and over charged me because she thought I was young! She will be losing a lot of business if this continues! If you like people talking about you in a different language right in front of you then this is a perfect place for you! My coworkers and I went after work one day for pedicures. We wanted to try a new place and this is near by the office. First off they only have a small amount of options for polish colors so make sure you bring one that you like. In the first 5 minutes the nail technician made my friend bleed on two toes by cutting her while she was trimming her cuticles. Then kept going back to the same spot to "fix" it by cutting more while she was in pain. When my lady sat down (10 minutes later) She took the sugar scrub and smeared it on my shins and just left it there and started filing my nails. When that was done she just rinsed it off. She never rubbed it around or anything, it just sat on my shins for 10 minutes. She asked if I wanted to pay $5 more for a heel treatment since I had some rough spots, so I said yes. All she did was the regular scrubbing that you would normally get included in your pedicure and she didn't use any special product or anything. The menus said that we would be getting a mud mask which we never received. The paint job for both was decent. My friend also got an acrylic fill. While she was getting her nails done her technician was on her cell phone the entire time. She never asked if she wanted them cut down and when she did asked the woman to cut them down she said that will be $3 extra. To cut nails? I've never heard of that! The whole experience was just bad!I'm also not too thrilled about their sanitation procedure. They scrub out the pedi spa with hand soap and do a quick rinse which is not up to CA regulations. It looks like they do use new files and buffers for each client which is nice. Not sure about their steel implements, she just pulled them out of her box so I don't know if they sanitize them I between clients or not. To top it off when I was signing my receipt my lady was literally hovering over me and staring at the slip to see her tip so I felt obligated to leave a bigger tip than I wanted to. So, to say the least we will not be back again! My recommendation would be to drive past this place and find somewhere else! Good luck! Read Less

Very disappointed. Went in for a mani / pedi. Nails are different lengths, hands and feet. Polish on toes doesn't cover the entire nail, nails are all shaped differently. Same with hands, Polish all over my cuticles. Will not ever go back. Read Less

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SALON!!!! I've been a long standing customer (3 years) and have tolerated bad customer service thinking Rose (the owner) is having a bad day but...it's not, the last visit took the cake with her rudeness by not completing my manicure and walking off the job and had another employee finish because my finger wasn't relaxed enough (really??!!). Rose seems nice but it's a front to gain customers. She talks negative about customers in her native tongue and also talks down about her husband every time I've been in her shop (complaining about him). This is not a relaxing place, I treat myself and PAY for a relaxing spa experience to enjoy my 'me' time...this is the service I pay for, I'm not paying to be on a hostile environment (from the owner or anyone else) and to be treated like crap by rude behavior.  It takes a lot for me to get mad and Rose has pushed me to the point to complain on Yelp...only because it's needed to warn other potential customers of the negativity. As for the other employees, they are genuine and respectful of their customers, they seem to put up with the owner because they work there. She made me feel comfortable and she was gentle as can be. I got almond shaped nails and just FYI they charge extra for the shape. I decided to stop in today and check out Hannah's Nails and was not disappointed! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was laid back. I had the pleasure of getting my nails done by Hannah herself, and she was wonderful! So personable, and made me feel like I was a regular! She gave me grey, almond shaped nails that I love!! I usually always always always go to hello nails but I went here for the first time with my friends to try it out and needless to say my nails look horrible. Service wasn't great either. We went as a ground and one friend was 5 minutes late and They told me to tell my friend to hurry up because she needed to go home early today.. But she was still doing someone's nails... How are you telling her to hurry up when your not even ready to do someone else's nails. Anyway the lady with really a mans haircut did my nails and I asked for an almond shape... I've been going to Envy Nails & Spa since early April of 2012. The first thing I noticed was the cleanliness and modern decor. When I called, I was able to get an appointment that day and was able to choose an appointment time. They greet you warmly when you arrive and take care of you right away. Angel was my nail tech. I got pink and white gel nails, a pedicure and facial waxing. I have been getting fills every three, sometimes four weeks since. Angel does a terrific job and is a real perfectionist. I bite and pick at my nails but have never once had one lift or come off. I have been to three other salons in Vacaville and my nails never survived my abuse for more than two weeks.
