So let me start off by saying I have been to this place twice and thats all I need to never go back again. I was in need of a new nail place and this one is down the street so I tried it out right before I left for my vacation to Hawaii. The ladies seemed nice enough and I was excited to try it out. They didn't do very much for the massage and they didn't turn my chair on but I let it slide because I thought maybe they just forgot this time. 4 days after coming here I was cleaning some items at work with a Clorox wipes and the next day my fingernails were brown I was so mad at myself because I thought darnit I don't have time to go get them done again before I leave and I figured it was my fault. The next time I got my nails done I went to a different place with a friend but this past week I went back here to get them done for an awards banquet I was going to a few days later and sure enough on the fifth day the day before my awards banquet my fingernails turned brown again. I didn't use any cleaning supplies and I didn't do anything I wouldn't normally do with nails on. I'm beginning to think it's just this salon. I will not be bringing my business back here especially since the last time the lady kept telling me how crooked my finger is and no one has ever told me that before. I'm so mad at myself for going there today.  I only go when I'm too lazy to drive elsewhere. But I should've known that, like every other time I've been, the ladies are so beyond rude it's ridiculous. I was never asked what manicure I wanted from the menu. So I figured I was getting the basic gel mani, but when I went up to the front the rude manager said I owe $30.  Shocked I replied, "$30??  For what?  The girl didn't even use a hot towel on me!  She wiped my arms full of lotion with the towel that was laying on the table the entire time!" I told the manager I wouldn't be back and that I would stick with Pasadena Happy Nails because of their prices and service are way better. Went in for a pedicure. They were busy so I had to wait 20 minutes, wasn't in a rush so that was ok. I watched while others seemed to have technicians taking their time. When it was my turn, I was never asked what pedicure I wanted (like I witnessed others choosing), my technician just quickly did my feet, rubbed on lotion and painted my toes. Then I was charged $27!!! My normal salon charges $30 and that's the deluxe that includes callus treatment paraffin wax and an extra 10 minute food and leg massage. Totally agree with the bad reviews, for one they are very expensive and they rush you and don't make you feel comfortable. I just got off work wanting a relaxing "spa pedi" which cost 38.00 btw my chair doesn't even work broken doesn't recline or massage. Umm? I told her never mind I'll do basic as soon as I said that her whole attitude changed. My pedicure was about 10 minutes. And nothing out of the ordinary but 30 for a basic pedicure. When all the women do is talk shit about everyone in the salon stay away. Go somewhere else. Not worth the headache. Lol Read Less

I really wish I could give this sorry place zero stars!!!! I cannot even believe what just happened. I walked in and asked if they had time to fix one broken nail. She said did you get it done here? I said no. She said well do you have 4 dollars in cash? I said yes why are you asking me that? She goes on to say we don't take cards less then 10. Ummmmm whatever ok (liar) so she looks at my hand and said we don't have that color. I tell her that's ok it doesn't need to match exactly I'm getting them done next week, I just don't have time today. Then another lady walked over and they have a conversation in there foreign language. (Talking mess). The other lady says I don't have that color is that gel? I tell her no it's polish but it doesn't have to match. She pulls down a close match and puts it up against my hand then starts to laugh and talks again in her language then looks at me and says I think you need to go back to whoever did your nails. What in the living hell?!?!? I can't even believe my ears. I said excuse me?? She said we can't help you. So I said so because I'm not spending money on an entire set your not going to fix just one? It was my first time coming here, I just needed a simple manicure & a pedicure. I did the deluxe manicure & pedicure and got the shine buffing on my finger nails. $58 for it all. The massaging, the quality & the attentiveness of the workers were really great.However, when I walked it & picked my color, they had a terrible color selection, if I come back I would bring my own color. They don't bag their pedicure stations either so that concerns me, all places should for infection control. A lot of things were broken, or chipped or looked dirty. They definitely need to upgrade their things.But my nails look good so I cannot complain but there are better places to go to. Read Less

I've been to A LOT of nail salons. Unfortunately Happy nails was the WORST of them all. I came in needing a fill. It was empty, and they took me right away. The color selection was awful and the gel collection was even worse. I think the selection of colors is a red flag, it shows me that they could care less about trying to make their clients happy. While I was getting my nails done, I asked the lady doing my nails if there was anyway she could apply more acrylic because my hands are always in the water for work and tend to break easier. She replied saying "no they are fine" so I played it off light hearted and said "well okay, if they break I'll have to come back" and she quickly responded "they are fine" so I didn't say anything else and wanted to trust her. As it was time to shape them I told her I like them coffin shaped. She responded with "your nails are too thin for that shape they will break". WELL, isn't that why I wantedMore acrylic in the first place? To help them not to crack and break?!.. I responded "yah that's why I wanted them thicker" after a few back and forth words she responded " okay, like I don't know anything about nails.. You know everything !!" I was in such shock. I'm a full time working mom and rarely have time to get my nails done, when I do I am so grateful for the time I get for me. This experience made me so angry and ruined my day. I've been coming here for years, on and off. Ladies are nice. Still always have that unnerving feeling that they are talking about me. Lol. It's somewhat hit or miss with service. I've had nails come out perfect and other times not so much. Been treated gently and other times been nicked up. But overall, nice facility and prices are reasonable. I took my daughter here today and we are from out of town, so someone recommended this place. We all got pedicures and two of us had the same girl who could not polish at all, she had polish all over the skin and then could not clean it all up. My daughter is a bride to be and this was for her shower. Needless to say we were very disappointed and we came home and I redid her toes. Two problems made this visit awful 1. This place is the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I was in the area and needed a full set and a pedicure. They charge $42.00 for gel pedicure with very limited nail polish selection. They cut my nails too short and I just had to tell the lady that was doing the pedicure to stop because she wanted to add acrylic powder to make my toe nails eve bad still charge me extra!!. They still charged me $10.00 for cutting my nails..The full set I had to get because it was already to late to walk out but I had to tell the girl she was leaving gaps when applying the powder, she did them thick, and uneven.. Then to top things off the lady charging (assuming she is the owner) come and asks the girl doing my nails why was she taking so long and starts saying she wants the employees to work the way she wants and if they don't like it they can leave.!!! Horrible customer service! I called to ask how their gel was removed from the nail. The woman who answered the phone kept saying, "When you get here." Thinking she didn't understand me I asked her several times again...she was rude at this point and told me, "when you get here I tell you." I'm not one to leave poor Yelp reviews but this is necessary. I went here to have a little mother/daughter pedicure time together with my 10 year old and had a terrible experience. The place is absolutely filthy. I should have known then to leave but I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt, hoping they would at least use sterile/ clean equipment (which they didn't).Unfortunately, it only got worse. During my daughter's pedicure they turned on the water and she pulled her foot out because it was scalding. The lady aggressively forced her foot back into the scalding hot water after she said it's too hot. My daughter then tearfully said mommy it's too hot and I had to yell at them to get her foot out. Her leg stayed bright red for the next few hours and she didn't even get an apology. I will never return here and I hope others don't have this same experience. Read Less

This place used to be amazing, I've been coming here since they opened. Slowly the place has become run down but it has not been fixed. The past 3 times I've been here I have gotten a DIFFERENT chair that doesn't work (vibration, roller, etc). The place is dirty now too! Staff does not say hi when they come to your chair. My mom and I both got the Royal package I believe. It was like $50 or something. My mom was treating me. Anyways, the whole process was really good. The massage was good, it just felt really rushed. Cindy rubbed my legs really fast whereas I would have preferred for it to be slower and more relaxing. But other than that Cindy did a fantastic job. She was so sweet and other than being a little quick, it was great. My mom had Jenny, who I have had do gel nails for me before. She is also really sweet. She always tells me how beautiful I am and that she loves how strong my nails are. The male that works here (I don't know his name) is very funny and apparently does a great job! I got acrylics on 9/27. Two days later, they're already lifting. When I was in the salon, they didn't say hi, just said "what do you want". I'm not a picky customer, but for them to rush through my nails, cut me, and do a poor job is not okay with me. I tried saying something, but they brushed it off like I didn't know what I was talking about.  I don't think I've ever felt so disrespected at a nail salon before. Definitely not coming back here. I'm being nice with two stars. I came here after my massage, completely relaxed & looking to have some "me" time.. The lady didn't even say hi when I sat down - totally robotic & she didn't understand crooked..?! So I picked up the nail filler & fixed them myself. After rushing to get it all done, my polish is sloppy & usually what I'm used to is they will go back with nail polish remover to fix the messyness but nope, not in this case. She then left me with the fan on & helped another customer. As you can tell, I'm not going to go back. Good customer service is not hard..
