I've been getting my nail done here for a while now but after the last two bad experiences, it is definitely time for me to move on. The first incident was when I went to get my nail done and my manicure was done by Leena, the owner. The bottle of nail polish that she used is so old and that they added thinner to it so many times, it left many tiny bubbles on my nail. She keeps going over them with new coats until it reaches 4 coats. She had to move onto another customer so she ask someone else to finish it up for her. The next girl that works on me suggested taking the thick polish off and start over but Leena, from across the room, yelling at her and told her to put on another coat. While she is at it, she yelled at the other employee whom she borrow that bottle from, and telling her to throw it out. It is definitely a very unprofessional way of doing business especially in front of your customers. So by the time they finish with my nail, I had 5 thick coats of nail polish. Needless to say, it didn't dry up and got destroyed a few hours later. After that experience, I decided to go elsewhere. Oh and did I mention, Leena wants to charge me a few dollars extra when I ask her if she has a specific color in the Essie line? That is definitely new to me. Extra charge for gel, I understand, but for specific color for Essie and OPI??So my second bad experience was when I needed to get my nail done before a vacation and super short on time. I decided to give them another chance. I got there, picked out 4 bottles of polish, hoping they can help me decide on two. The person who did my feet was nice. The girl who did my hand seriously had some attitude. As soon as she came over, underneath her breath in Vietnamese, she said along the line of "oh she hoarded a bunch of polish bottles." The she roughly grab my hand, looking at paint on my fingers where I tested the polish color and again, mumble in her low viet language along the line of who would slab on such a thick coat. I don't think she knew I can understand. So in my head I was just thinking whatever, I'll just deduct your tip. Then she started to cut my nail, without even asking me if I want it short or long, round or square etc. When she cut too little, I had to tell her to keep going 3 times. She looks annoyed. So when she is done with one hand, the shape of one or two fingers look odd, so I ask her to fix it. So the first work that came out of her mouth is equivalent of the f** word in Vietnamese. At that point, I had it. So I told her I want someone else to work on my nail. She act surprise and said she didn't do anything. I told her I can understand Vietnamese. I don't think she understand me. She told the owner, who sat across the room that I wanted someone else and she doesn't know why, then just walk off. And no, the owner didn't even bother asking me what's wrong or send someone else to do hand. I left that day with just my feet done. Even though the girl who did my feet is super nice, she cut into my skin when she cut my toe nail? And this is not even cuticle cutting since I don't do cuticle. And trust me, my toe nails are as normal and easy to cut as they come. So long story short, this place will no longer get my business. Service has gone downhill since the switch of ownership.
