First time coming to this salon! Decided to check it out cause of all the raving reviews! Vi did my birthday nails and didn't charge me for coffin shape or the ombré as a present! She was incredibly precise and efficient and they turned out beautifully! My Daughter and I wanted to find a nail salon that was reasonably priced. Came across this salon on yelp. We went in today (on a Friday) first thing to make sure we were able to get in. They took us right away. Even though they started getting flooded with clients, they took their time doing our nails and did a GREAT job! I'm very pleased with the way Annie did my nails. Great nail salon! I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and it was totally affordable. They clean you up nicely and are meticulous. Lotion/massage was not included in the gel manicure which was a bummer. They took me in without an appointment and I was seated within 5 minutes. I came in for a mani and pedi and I am currently sitting here on a chair getting a pedi. The place is super small but they do well with the small space. A man did my gel manicure and  he  did it so fast and seemed rushed. No massage no nothing..ehhh I am used to getting a hand massage or something but nails came out fine. A lady is doing my pedi and she is taking her time and is attentive. Verdict: not too bad for $35 for gel mani and regular pedi. I would come back if I was in the neighborhood but not my go to place. Love how my nails turned out! I got a gel manicure with some gemstones in them.I seriously didn't have any idea on what I wanted, so I was glad that the man who was doing my nails was open to giving some suggestions. I found a feel of what I wanted and then he recommended this design and color. EasyyyThe price is really great too! I tipped him well since he put a lot of meticulous time and effort into the whole process.My thumbnail cracked after one day (but it wasn't the nail but the gel itself.) thankfully, I came in and another man fixed it and made it more strong. All the salon ladies (workers) and men kept chatting with each other loudly in Vietnamese. Needed to get my nails done and wanted some place between work and home. Found this place on yelp and saw that a gel mani was only $20, so I had to try them out. I didn't want to review the place until I knew how long my gel mani lasted, so here is the review 2 weeks later! Walked in without an appointment and right away they brought me to a chair for my mani pedi. The chairs were nice and so were the ladies! Nina did my mani and the pic is of my nails two weeks after, still pretty nice and for $20 hard to find a place much cheaper! I will definitely be back and when I do I am asking for Nina! Read Less

You know a place is good when the regulars come in and all the staff know them so well. That's what happened when I walked in without an appointment and watched as regulars were treated well by everyone. Not that I wasn't treated well -- just observed the positive interactions happening around me as I waited my turn for a mani/pedi.The staff are attentive and mindful-- they told me that there would be a wait (not unexpected as I just walked in with no appointment) but they tried their best to get to me in a timely manner. Then, when it was my turn, they didn't try to rush through the process as I was one of their last clients for the day. The place may be small but intimate. Staff was friendly and attentive. Sassy nails is in fact sassy, so be prepared for being ignored and questioned about when you came by staff who doesn't care much for their customers. We complained that our gel nails came off after a few days, they didn't believe us and had us pull up our bank statements for proof, all they did was nervously laugh and said okay we will fix but will charge you. We waited over an hour, mind you there was only one other customer, but seeing as they weren't the ones who did our nails and their other coworker who did was off today, no one wanted to take responsibility. Congratulations Sassy nails for being the first to ever screw up my brows. My left brow was left way thinner than my right.  I knew it was a bad sign when the woman actually waxed my brows literally while I was sitting getting my nails done.  I'll give 3 stars because prices are good but overall not impressed. I was a tad worried when I walked in, the shop is small, however the service was just what I like! The price was good, and the smallness of the shop actually compliments the intimacy of the service provided! Can't wait to go again and try out the lashes! Great place but since room is very small so it's better to make an appointment. I went right before the Christmas so it was very crowded but thank Hod I called earlier and made a Appointment.Since they were rushing so two people try to do pedi and manicure same time. It was little uncomfortable since they were keep rushing to finish their job but I am things could be better after the holidays. Mimi and Michel did a great job but like I mentioned it's better to go with appointments.Before they start the pedicure plz take a look on the card and if you asked for NORMAL, please reconfirm the price again.They don't have normal written on their card and that's where you can be surprised with the amount of money.I will go back 2nd time and hopefully things will be more relaxing Read Less

I got a gel manicure from Sassy Nails and it was great. I walked in and it was extremely busy. I was lucky to get a spot, so I highly recommend calling for an appointment. The manicurist was nice, efficient and very precise. It was a basic manicure--just cuticle cut, nail cut/shaping and polish. No massage or extras. Definitely recommend this nail salon. Read Less

I have coming here for over 9 yrs. All the girls are great and they are the best in what they do. But I do have to say that for Nina is the best she is my go to girl. The girls are so good that you have to call in and make an appointment if you want a particular girl in mind even thought they take walk-in but to get the girl you want make an appointment. I came here on 9/4 since my normal nails place wasn't open for Labor Day, and this was close by my home. I was a walk-in and didn't have to wait too long even though they had appointments all day. It's now been 6 weeks since then and my gels still look amazing! It hasn't chipped and still looks pretty good! Note, I have an office job and don't cook too often - hence maybe why the longer lifetime of these nails. At my regular nail salon, my gels last for a good 2.5 weeks, so I'm very impressed!They have a smaller color selection than I'm used to, but still good enough. One downside I don't like is that they charge to take off your previous gel job - extra $5. Read Less

I am a first timer --came in for a gel manicure and basic pedicure. It was pretty busy for what I expected 11AM on Friday to look like, but they have a lot of staff that they were able to take me as a walk in.Manicure experience: Cuticles were cleaned up and nails were lightly buffed before applying the gel colors. I personally like that they only lightly buffed because I like keeping the integrity of my nail to be maintained after the gel comes off. They have a fair amount of colors to choose from. They are not labeled by brand, which I did not prefer because I usually like DND, as they come with matching regular polish for pedis. There was no lotion afterwards, like they do in most other places. Personally, don't mind because I don't usually like the sensation of lotion on my palms anyway. You can choose up to 2 colors. I added a third color for an extra $3. Pedicure experience: For those who care, the tubs are not lined with plastic. The cuticles were cleaned up, nails trimmed and filed, bottoms of feet were scrubbed with a pumice for ~20 seconds each, each leg massaged with lotion 5 min total. They have a large selection of name brand nail colors to choose from. The nails were painted and cleaned up meticulously.Paid a total of $38. Was pleased and satisfied with my visit here. Not really pleased with the quality. Nails were not filed evenly nor shaped well, the polish was put on a little messy. I could of done it myself for how it turned out. :/However, the ladies seem nice enough, place looks really clean with relatively more of an updated/modern and stylish setup. Still, that isn't enough for me to return. Another thing that I wasn't too pleased with was the $5 charge for gel removal. Considering I don't get charged from one place that is my semi-to-go-to salon when I get a new polish and at most $2 elsewhere, that $5 is a little unreasonable especially when the finished product of my manicure is less than polish (yup, that's a pun). Came to get my acrylics taken off and for a regular manicure. The technician was super rough especially while taking the acrylics off. One of my nails was bleeding from pulling the acrylic too hard and she just used nail clue on the bleeding wound... Also very rude when she was complaining in Vietnamese to other nail technicians. My nails turned out to be all sorts of lengths, she didn't even bother to buff all of them so they match up.. I came here once or twice back in 2016 and remember a pleasant experience.I was in Irvine visiting from NY and I needed to get my nails done so of course I came back here!Gel mani is $20 and basic pedi is $15. For $5 more you can get callus remover too.I opted for the gel mani and basic pedi so $35 and extra for tip. Cash preferred of course!:)The only annoyance-- there wasn't a hand massage with the gel mani. Otherwise very very good attention to detail! Will be back next time I'm in town:) Read Less
