I've only been twice to this salon and I'm going back again tomorrow to see May. She does a great job on my nails.During my last visit (2 weeks ago), I had arrived on time for my appointment, which was at 2:00. They asked me to take a seat saying that May would be with me in a moment. Well, 15 minutes went by and I still hadn't been seen. Then one of the front counter ladies came up to me and apologized and told me why it was taking so long. Now here is some nail salon etiquette for all you ladies who like special designs on your finger nails. If you make an appointment, tell the receptionist exactly what you want because that's how they determine how long it might take. So the issue was that this person before me only asked for a polish change, but she started asking my nail lady, May, to do different designs on her nails. I could even overhear the customer being really picky and asking May to change what she did because it looked uneven or something like that. By this time, I was fuming on the inside, but I appeared quite patient on the outside. I wasn't angry at the nail salon or my lovely nail lady. I was angry at this stupid chic that had no consideration of another person waiting for their appointment. She knew I was sitting there waiting for May to finish. I didn't get seen until an hour after my appointment time. Sure, May could have told the girl that she couldn't do what this girl was asking due to having another appointment, but then that would be bad customer service too. I understood that she was kind of stuck.Anyway, I'm giving a positive review because of how well the employees handled the situation. They continued to let me know what was taking so long. They made it up to me with some champagne amongst other things. And May, as usual, did an amazing job on my nails. I also love the perk of being able to talk to English-speaking people on the phone when I make an appointment. This is the most unique, fun, welcoming nail salon I've ever been to. The things that I look for are the comfy chairs and the nail color selection and this place had both plus more! Did not get the full service I paid for - the girl gave me acrylics that were very thick and ugly. My hands didn't get wiped clean after working on them with powder acrylic and nail sander. Loved my nails! They pay attention to detail and listen to what you request. The chairs are extremely comfortable better then the other massage chairs at most salons. The pedicure sinks are built in porcelain tubs which is so unique and extra sanitary! That's a huge thing for me. I've noticed all nail salons have regular spa tubs so this was definitely a great upgrade. They have such a wide color selection which I always look for in nail places. They do Sns nails and builder gel. The girl at the front recommended Brisa gel she said it's more natural and would work better for my type of nail. I'm so glad I did it because regular gel wasn't lasting very long for me when I would get my nails done at my old place. Thought I would try this place because several people I know gave it rave reviews. Nope - not going back. Not because of the nails - they turned out good, little expensive but good. But because of 2 people that work there. I don't know their names. But the one girl (has green hair) kept complaining to the girl that worked the front desk about how a customer did not leave her a tip. Then she questioned another technician if the customer tipped her?? How is that any of your business?? Maybe the job you did on her was not up to par?? Not good customer service. It pains me to have to do this. I've been coming to PMF for a little over 7 months now. My last nail salon, I'd been going there for about 10 years. Quality started to decline over the years and it was time to make a change. The first couple of times I came to PMF, I had my nails done by a few techs who are no longer there. The owner, Tania, suggested that I try Kevin. I did and loved his work. I read another reviewer's comment about him not talking to her. He's not friendly. But we're not here to make friends, right? He did my nails for a trip to St. Martin earlier this year and my red carpet Grammy chrome nails so pretty nails trumps friendly service, I guess. To make my life easy, I'll give you a synapsis of what happened yesterday from my complaint that I just filed with the state board about Kevin literally snatching my nail off my nail bed but before I do that, a couple of things that weren't in that complaint:-Kevin is ALWAYS late. If you book an appointment with him, I encourage you to tell the girls making the appt to CALL you if he's running late. As an added measure, you may want to call the salon 15 min before your appt to confirm that he's on time. It's not uncommon for him to be running 45 min - 1 hour behind. They're aware that this happens but I guess since he does good work, inconveniencing customers doesn't matter. Because of Kevin's habitual lateness, I frequently end up having to get my nails done by another random/available tech who doesn't do as good as a job. Then later having to go back to get my nails fixed by Kevin. I once had to get a broken nail fixed 3 times within a week. I also had an occasion where my appt was at 1:00 and I didn't leave until 4:00 because I was waiting for Kevin. Who has that kind of time? -The environment is very casual. I don't have an issue with this but the girls (including the owner) are always wearing leggings & athletic gear. I saw someone else mention this so if you have a problem with it, don't go there. -The salon is cute but Tania does hover. The very first time Kevin did my nails, she was so close to me, I wanted to pop an Altoid before I started talking to her. I've never seen a salon owner hover so closely before. You get used to it after awhile. The hovering is a great segue into what happened yesterday because when Kevin snatched my nail off, not only did Tania NOT hover, but she never even acknowledged that she (and everyone else in the salon) heard me scream from the pain. SO...here's why I'll never go to this place again. I had a cracked pinkie nail. I called PMF hoping that they could take me the day before the holiday. I was surprised to discover that Kevin had an opening 2 hrs from then. I told Amber to PLEASE let me know if Kevin was going to be late. She texted me to say that he was running 40 min behind. Then they worked something out and he would be on time. At the time of scheduling, I informed her that I had a cracked nail that hurt. It was broken pretty low so my nail was split in 2 horizontally & the tip was still attached to my nail bed. I had a Band-Aid on protecting it & when I saw Kevin, I explained the same to him. I told him that it hurt. He was a little rough with it while gluing. The pedicurist was trying to make small talk with me but I was in pain & couldn't talk. Kevin used this blue sticker thing to create a longer nail to work with. After the acrylic had hardened, he began to aggressively file the tip of the nail and filed down so hard, the entire nail snapped off, snatching off part of my nail bed. I screamed & snatched my hand away from him. Where the tip of my nail bed used to be it was now purple and bleeding. Kevin never got up. He didn't get peroxide or iodine or anything. He never apologized. Never asked if I was ok. Tania never came over. She was getting her nails done at one point too. The only people who ever spoke about it were the pedicurist & the girl who took my money for the service. The pedicurist (nice lady w/green hair) asked Kevin if he wanted this green antiseptic & he said no. I told her that I wanted it so he snatched the bottle from her & proceeded to physically touch the tip of the bottle to my bloody wounded finger. Then he put the cap back on & gave it back to her. Tania never acknowledged me. Never apologized. No discount was given. And I walked out of there -$76 with NINE nails. I assumed she was ignoring me b/c last time I was there I had to speak with her about her receptionist telling me that the orange color I selected wouldn't look good on my dark skin tone. How many times do you have to tell a business owner how they're failing their customers before you stop going? My answer is 4 & it has been 4 too many. I'll take my $ elsewhere. OH, and while I was there I observed someone's little Chihuahua nervously trembling on 1 of the barstools. There was a little "moisture" under him. One of my favorite nail salons in Tustin!The interior is chic and clean. There is a very generous selection of polishes. The staff is friendly, and the nail techs are precise. I don't typically do French manicures, but I love their PMF French manicure (essentially, it's a nude base instead of a pink base). I recently moved to Orange and needed to find a new nail place as I did not want to continue commuting to Claremont every two weeks to get my nails done. Pardon My French was the first place I checked out due to the raving reviews on Yelp! In a nutshell, I will not be going anywhere else! Everyone was friendly and catering. This area has a quite a few nail salons. I picked this one for my Mother's Day treat based on the name and the fact that is says lounge. I wanted to be pampered.... and it was perfect!!The ladies that work here are very friendly and sweet. I enjoyed a gel manicure with yen (Jacqueline) and the cucumber pedicure with Lucy. Lucy gives a great foot and leg massage. Both ladies were very polite and sweet. There seems to be minimal chit chat which kind of adds to the ambiance.  I was able to relax in this very clean spa and thoroughly enjoy my time. What a great vibe! I'm one of you busy moms who doesn't really have a chance to treat herself to a regular mani/pedi. So, when I do, I like to splurge a little. This place is the perfect amount of decadence. Beautiful aesthetics, impeccable  service, good variety, and champagne. None of the techs were on their cell phone. They all spoke English in front of me even if they were speaking to another tech. When I presented a design, my tech was honest enough to tell me she didn't think she could do it. I loved that. How many times have you brought in a pic of you wanted and ended up with nothing like the pic? I appreciated the honesty, went with a back-up idea and she did a beautiful job.On one visit, the owner herself accommodated a special request. I only came here because the nail salon I usually go to was booked this week and PMF was on the way of where I needed to go after work.So I came in without an appointment after work at around 2pm. A lady sitting in one of the pedi chairs yelled for whoever the front desk girl was. When she came to greet me she wasn't so pleasant and welcoming, and was wearing leggings, a crop top, and Nikes. I'm not one to judge on appearance, but I'm pretty sure if you're working at a front desk in any industry, location, career, etc. one should wear more approachable-looking, possibly business casual attire, not something you'd wear to the gym. Anyways, I asked for a gel manicure only. The front desk girl told me to pick a color from the swatches on the coffee table, but I asked for french ombré nails. She told me that they were only for acrylics. **MINUS ONE STAR** The salon I go to has done french ombré gel nails for me on several occasions. And all their nail techs knew how to do it. So I just opted for a single color gel mani instead.A nail tech came and sat me in a pedi chair, but I politely tell her I wanted a manicure only, and she replied "yes, but chairs are not available." Mind you, there were only 2 nail techs working on their short mani table, leaving 2 chairs empty. But I sat in the chair with my feet stretched over the empty tub anyway. She began on my nails, and started some small talk. A few minutes in, she asked where I worked and I told her "Disneyland." BIG MISTAKE! She then proceeded to ask for my number and asked me to sign her and her daughter in. **MINUES TWO STARS** She kept saying how she used to have relatives that worked at Disney but no longer do, "but now she has [me]", and how tickets,  food, merch at Disney is too expensive and she can't afford them. I told her I only get my family and friends into the parks because I have limited tickets. It made my experience rather uncomfortable, not to mention it was REALLY unprofessional for her to request such a thing from a first time client. All the nail techs at my salon know I work at Disney and have not ONCE asked or hinted at me to sign them in.I left 2 stars for this location because the nails came out decent, despite her leaving some gold glitter polish on my hands. Also, she used her nails to clean up the gel polish around my nails instead of a brush dipped in acetone, which would be the reason why I still had polish on my hands. My service was $31 (including the 5% cash discount). I will not be coming back and will be waiting patiently for an opening at my regular salon, Black File Nail Social in Fountain Valley. Their designs are cuter, they have WAY more colors and brands for gel polish, the service is a thousand times better, and have better practices for their nail services.x Read Less

My pedicure was amazing! The salon is extremely clean, super classy looking, and very relaxing. I'm only knocking it down 1 star because the receptionist was distracted. She was getting her nails done when I came in which was weird. Also, she left the hot water on my feet, forgot to bring me a water, and left the front desk to go spray tan the other receptionist. After a manicure and pedicure at Pardon my French, you'll be bummed you didn't come here sooner.  Since I moved to Santa Ana/Tustin, I tried nearly all the nail salons in the area and this place is the only place I will go.  The quality you get here is the best. Some of the gel I get at other salons starts to crack or flake off a few weeks later, but my last paint job was going strong a month later.  The high back upholstered spa chairs are cute and super comfortable. About 3 weeks ago I got my face wax here .I still haven't recovered. I went into the store and showed them my face.  The young lady grabbed the Asian woman that did this to me, put us in  a small room to talk about my skin, and to be honest  it was pretty uncomfortable. Not the room literally, but the fact that the manager it was so concerned about damage control that she assured me over there. It further confirmed that because when she examined my skin herself, she stated "oh, it will go away". Smh ‍.. I went home I didn't leave my house for 3 days I DON'T  get paid if I don't work I cannot show up to meetings with investors looking like a battered woman , I wasn't going to leave a review but my gut tells me I should I don't want anybody to go through this ...Over the weekend I went to a dermatologist to get a facial and talk about my scars cost me another $150 smh ‍ Must see PICTURES !! I love this place! I've only been one time, and the customer service is excellent! I highly recommend it. Tania is the receptionist; she's a doll! She had me checkout the yelp site, and asked me to bring pictures if I want a design.Before you book your appointment be sure to do this and also pick a nail designer. I wanted coffin shaped chrome nails for Christmas, so I went with Kevin! He was great! My nails are rose gold and silver. I used building gel instead of acrylic. It's $10 more and takes a little longer to apply, so I only recommend the gel if you are allergic to acrylic, like myself. My nails are super shiny and beautiful! This picture can't do them justice!
